This fucking book. I guess it's groundbreaking if you haven't already been told everything in it 8,000 times. I was unimpressed with the assumptive and blatantly biased, completely subjective way in which this book was written. I don't think this should count as a text book. It has facts, yes. In chapter form. But the facts are not presented, they are distorted and perceived for you. So you don't have to think. Luckily enough, this caters right to the mindset of a lot of college-aged people (women) who will have to read this in a women's studies (or possibly psychology, I guess, though if this was a required book for a psych class I'd be ready to punch in some heads) class. Have fun with your ridiculous, boring, inane, choice of a major, guys.

Extremely poorly written and biased towards radical feminist and LGBT views. Books like these are why feminist are viewed as nutcases.

Read this book for my gender psychology class. Very informative and does a good job covering all the different theories regarding gender, whether or not they are still relevant in today's world.

An excellent book on this topic. It was well researched and presented I definitely learned more from this book than I did from my class...but at least class was entertaining ;)
