Taming My Christmas Rogue

A roguish lord and an innocent lady…

Lord Andrew Maddox is a rogue of the first order… he’s the last man Dani should want. Yet her eyes are drawn to Drew every time he enters the same room as her, which is often, since her family and his are spending Christmastide together. Dani just has to avoid him for a week, and then she can go back to her orderly life and her almost husband hunt. Being shy does make it difficult to search. Except for her rakish rogue has other ideas.

Miss Danielle Frazier is far too virtuous for his tastes… so why can’t he stop thinking about her? He must take drastic measures. His plan? Steal one kiss. He likes a woman with a certain amount of knowledge, and Dani clearly has none. One botched kiss, and he’ll be over this ridiculous infatuation. Except for from the moment their lips touch, nothing goes the way it’s supposed to, and kisses under the mistletoe rarely end romantic fantasy. Now, Drew has a new problem entirely… for the first time in his life, he might be falling in love.

A wonderful seasonal romance.
Great for a quick read with a coffee and a roaring fire.

Drew has pushed his family to its limits with his dissolute behaviour, booze , women and such have become something his father won’t tolerate from now on , little does he know that his errant son has already chosen to settle down , he’s besotted with Danielle , and she’s on his mind constantly.

As the Christmas season arrives he know he must take things in hand . His father apparently has decided on a bride for him and now Drew must act sooner rather than later . With two other suitors interested it’s time to proceed, now .

Great story , emotional, action packed and beautifully written.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

My review :

When two peoples are unwillingly drawn to one another, must they follow their desire or stay far away from each other...

I love Mrs Tammy Andresen writing for her ability even with short story to give depth and temper to her characters.
Drew is so determined to never marry just to spike his father, he is unable to recognize the signs of his infatuation for what they are. Danielle is filling every pores of his skin even when away, she haunts his dreams and fantasies. Why he wants to shake her up from his system thinking a mere kiss will cure him like a medicine against an illness.
Danielle has so worked to be unobtrusive to those who gave her a roof, she has become shy around other. Still for whatever reason, she is more at ease when with Drew than any other man, yet he fires her blood and scares her she might do something stupid instead of running away the other way because of his roguish attractiveness.
This was a lovely fast paced Christmas tale.

Taming My Christmas Rogue is a great little story from Tammy Andresen, one perfect for those looking for a short festive read to devour in a small space of time.

As always, Tammy Andresen packs plenty into the story. The characters in this one were first introduced in the prior Taming the Heart book, and knowing their backstory certainly adds to this one. Although it adds to this story, it is not necessary to understand it. this one works perfectly fine as a standalone.

With a romance you can easily get lost in and a story that has you curious to see how it plays out, Taming My Christmas Rogue is classic Tammy Andresen. If you’re a fan of the series, this one is certainly worth the read.

Lord Andrew Maddox was quite the rogue and had no intention of getting married, inspite of his father’s dictates. Danielle Frazier is a shy lady but has a dowry thanks to her cousin, that makes her an attractive marriage prospect. Drew is attracted to Danielle but will he want something lasting? At a house party, there are a number of would be suitors for Danielle. This was an entertaining read with an element of danger. There is also a bonus prologue for an upcoming series that sounds very interesting. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

‘Tis the season to fall in love, for miracles, for change and for some wonderful, feel-good reading from Tammy Andresen! TAMING MY CHRISTMAS ROGUE is a quick escape from reality that will leave you with a smile.

Lord Andrew Maddox has made an art out of being a rogue, driving his family to distraction. Miss Danielle Frazier is beautiful, shy and nothing like the women he seems drawn to and yet, like a moth to a flame, Drew wants this woman like no other. He wants her in every way, including as his wife.

How easily the mighty fall, even if Dani shouldn’t want such rogue, she does and a kiss under the Mistletoe is never wrong. Talk about a holiday miracle! The beauty has tamed the beast!

As always, I have gotten exactly what I expected from Tammy Andresen, a quick read that left me smiling, wonderfully embellished scenes, delightful characters and a magical happily ever after!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Tammy Andresen. This is my honest and voluntary review.

This is the final book in the series & it ends on a high. Once again strong characters who are very loveable, a well written well paced story that I read in a sitting. Dani is shy & prefers to be in the background, Andrew is a rogue but also a hardworking landowner, together their chemistry sizzles. I love it when a rogue falls hard & Andrew certainly did. I was drawn in from page one & engrossed until the end
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Taming My Christmas Rogue: Taming the Duke's Heart is a historical holiday romance by Tammy Andresen. This is a very quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Andresen has provided readers with a well-written book. The characters in this story are a perfect fit. Drew never wants to marry and is more determined when he learns his parents are bringing a bride for him when they return from America. Danielle is the ward of Drew's brother and he can't seem to keep his mind off of her. Danielle and Drew's story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Taming My Christmas Rogue is book 2 of the Miracle Express Series but can be read as a standalone.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What's a man to do when he cannot get one woman out of his mind? No matter what he did, how much he drank, it always came back to her beautiful face. Plus he was going to have to spend Christmas with her at his brother's estate!
But the attraction was getting harder and harder to deny as Drew thought, just one kiss and he would be over her! No such luck. If anything it made it worse.
Dani could not deny her attraction for the rake and he was fast becoming all she could think about. He actually seemed to effortlessly bring her out of her shyness!
A delightful story that made me smile and quickly turn the pages to see how this Christmas romance would turn out. Tammy Andresen always writes such wonderful stories that are exactly what I love!!

A delightful quick read that shows being with the right person can certainly make you a better man/woman!

Drew is a rogue but ever since he first met Danielle, he has been unable to think of anyone but her. When their families get together for Christmas, his lust for her intensifies and he figures if he just kisses her, it might get her out of his system. Danielle is very shy but when it comes to him, she's able to come out of her shell and tell him off! lol There's also the matter of two other would-be suitors invited who have marriage on their minds. Drew has his work cut out for him if he's to change his ways and win her heart!!

I have to say that I didn't care for this book. The premise was fine, if not a bit overdone (rake falls in love with an "innocent" woman), but the execution was poor. I felt like the characters were not fleshed out at all (Dani barely had any personality at all and merely served, for the most part, as an object of lust for Drew), and the book desperately needed an editor (comma splices aplenty!). I know it's a novella, and I never have high hopes for novellas, even though I have read some amazing ones that felt like full stories (*looks at Mimi Matthews with heart eyes*). This one needed...more. A lot more.

Tammy Andresen has written a beautiful, fun & romantic Christmas story with a lovable rake & an innocent lady! It's a book that you will turn the last page & feel happy with a smile on your face.

Lord Andrew "Drew" Maddox is a third son, handsome, works hard with his properties that make money but most of all a renowned rogue. He has recently become enamored with a lady he met a few months ago, she is an innocent & she has been invited to spend Christmastide with his family. Since he is never attracted to virtuous ladies & he has no intention of marrying, he decides he needs to kiss her & her lack of experience will settle his lust & he will be able to resume his roguish life.

Miss Danielle "Dani" Frazier is a beautiful, innocent & shy lady who is sort of looking for a husband & she would bring money & property to a marriage. Dani has been invited to spend Christmastide with Drew's family for a week & she knows to ignore & avoid him which will be very hard to do since she has been attracted to him since they met. She needs to get through the week, meet with a couple of single men who are looking to marry & then go back home & start a serious husband search.

Drew & Dani have their kiss under the mistletoe - what direction will it go & how will it change their futures, what about her possible suitors & Drew's unsavory lifestyle? The cast of characters is really wonderful & you'll find humor, danger, fun, romance & the perfect holiday ending.

I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.

I absolutely loved the bemusement and confusion facing Andrew after he meets Dani. He cannot perform and cannot concentrate so he tries desperately to blot out this undesirable state with drink and loose ladies which does nothing to give him the relief he so desires.
The two meet again but this does nothing to relieve him of his unwanted feelings. Dani, too, finds that she needs to avoid him and this is only the beginning of this delightful story.
I love it when each, in their own time, decide to stop fighting their feelings for each other and eventually kiss under the mistletoe. Of course this doesn't go unnoted.
Tammy Andresen has written a refreshingly amusing story about two characters who grabbed my attention and had me smiling and laughing at their antics. I couldn't wait to find out what they (and in particular Andrew) would do next and yet this was a light and easy to read Chrismassy story which I am happy to recommend.
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of the ebook and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.

Taming My Christmas Rogue is the second book in the Miracle Express series. It is also the last book in the author’s Taming the Duke’s Heart series, but can be read as a standalone. The book was fast paced and short but the characters were well developed. Lord Andrew Maddox and Danielle Frazier had meet when Danielle’s cousin, Sophie, became Drew’s brother guardian. He had been captivated by her since then but was a rogue with no intentions of marriage. Danielle was shy, which made finding a husband hard. She was hoping to meet someone at the Christmas house party. Drew’s idea of them sharing a kiss to get rid of their attraction did not work and he didn’t like the idea of her marrying another man. Was Drew willing to face his feelings for Danielle and give up bachelorhood? This was a great book and short so it was easy to read in one sitting. The book also contained the prologue to the author’s new series, the Lords of Scandals, which sounds like another great series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A delightful Regency romance, when the roguish Lord Drew meets his match. Having gained a reputation through his wild behaviour, his first meeting with Danielle leaves him dissatisfied with his life and makes him wonder whether there is more to finding a love match than he thought. Spending Christmas with his family, and Danielle gives Drew the opportunity he needs to plan his strategy. Reserved, quiet Danielle is more than frustrated with herself. She has been presented with three possible suitors at the Maddox Christmas party and the only one that she feels anything for is the less than suitable Lord Andrew. This novella in lighthearted, witty and romantic, It is also well written and keeps the reader entertained throughout. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

They each bring out the best in the other.

As a third son, Drew swore he would never marry. He took great delight in being an unrepentant rogue. Then he met Danielle. Now he can't get her out of his head or his heart.

Danielle never had anything to recommend her, which is why she always liked solitude. Then she met Drew. He made her nervous and excited at the same time. He's not who she should want, but he may just be the one she needs.

Taming My Christmas Rogue by Tammy Andresen is a simple but cute story that's quick and easy to read. It's well written with likable characters and a happy ending.

Content alert: In addition to some swearing, there is also some mild kissing and a mildly described sexually intimate scene.

Lord Andrew Maddox never wants to marry but he can't get his brother's sister-in-law, Danielle Frazier out of his thoughts. He has lusted after her for over a year but that didn't mean he would be a suitor for her hand. But fate has a way of changing things as Danielle's guardian and wife decide to have a Christmas get together and invite two other eligible bachelors to find Dani a husband. Danielle's shyness and Lord Drew's boldness are the perfect foil for one another. But true love doesn't always run a smooth course. It includes learning how to tell if you really love someone, whether to marry for love or money and a mean-spirited loser in love. A wonderful, steamy holiday read.

Another delightful read by this author. Drew has been a first class rake, much to the dismay of his family. But one woman has set his heart into motion, and that’s Danielle – and leave it to his family to set up a Christmastide celebration, inviting the family along with Danielle- who is a cousin to one of his brother’s wife and along with two other eligible suitors, enough to drive Drew crazy.

A bit of danger and a hero with a huge heart, some laughter and a heartwarming tale of love during the holidays. A great novella to give you a great feeling for the holidays. Reviewed by Cyrene

Drew has found himself in a conundrum, after meeting Danielle he can't do anything but just exist. Danielle is a serene person with everyone except Drew. I loved the person she is with Drew. One of my favorite parts of the book is when Drew makes a revelation. "Was this how this would be? With every touch would he just crave more? Was he in love?" I thought this was a beautiful romance but not only that, Drew finally finds himself and Danielle finds a home.

This was a short and sweet story. It would be a lovely story to read right around Christmas with a cup of coffee and your tree lights on. Dani and Drew was a such a sweet read. A man bent on staying away from marriage and a woman that needs a sensible husband. Dani really is too nice unless it’s to Drew. A whole other side comes out when he’s around. And he has this crazy idea that kissing such an inexperienced woman will fix everything right up. Another great read!

The beautiful cover drew me in. The wonderful story kept me reading until the end.
Sweet Dani knows that she must find a husband, but is as shy as she is beautiful. Drew is worldly and determined to not fall in love, yet he is drawn to Dani. He thinks one kiss will get her out of his system. Will he stop at one kiss? Will Dani be able to resist?
I encourage you to find out by reading this delightful book!
