Covers the principal events of United States history; lists causes, effects, and other key points; and provides information about the Constitution and the federal government
This book is designed for the students of grades four to six. However, it calp help out to understand the history of the Americans in a very short span of time as it doesn't exceed 140 pages. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about the Americans from their origin to the present time. The book contains maps, pictures of important personalities who framed the United States of America, politically and scientifically, from a segregated region based on the territorial and racial divisions to the superpower.
I got this book as a Christmas gift back in the mid-2000s. It has been an excellent reference throughout the years for learning simple American history. The illustrations are engaging, instructive, and still feel fresh after all these years.
I read this to prepare for the MTEL multi-subject test, and it's a great resource. It gives an overview of the information you need to study, and is presented in an easy to read format. I'll definitely keep this book to refer back to it when teaching.
