Kane's been one of Santa's little helpers for five years and has always enjoyed his part-time holiday gig playing an elf. Well, until he meets the newest mall Santa Claus anyway. Sam Clausen is thirty to Kane's twenty-two, but that doesn't stop Kane from wanting to be Sam's Ho! Ho! Ho! One glance at the man outside the costume and it's instant lust. Unfortunately, while Sam is great with children, he's a grumpy Santa to Kane. Everything changes when Sam witnesses Kane's elfy-self making a certain little boy giggle.
When Kane discovers that the man he's been lusting after has five-year-old twins, his fantasies fly off with Santa's reindeer. He refuses to be Sam’s secret fling if he’s taken, and he has no desire to become an instant daddy to somebody's children.
Will Kane give in when Sam makes his interest known? Or will he run away without seeing what could happen with Sam and his little family?

Absolute perfection! An adorable elf meets a Hunky Santa with twins and they become a family! Just loved this! Even if it did make me cry a time or two! Lots of Love and Fun!
The story is told from Kane's perspective and he charmed me from the first pages. It was hard not to, because Kane is snarky, funny and has the biggest heart. So endearing in his fascination with Sam,in his fear to give too much of his heart to the irresistible man and his adorable children. Oh,he tried to resist the pull of the sweet trio, with their sad past, and I loved it when he finally realized that his happiness depended on making theirs a family of four.
Candi Kay's 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗳 & 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 is short but so full of emotions. The story made me laugh, brought me to the brink of tears and definitely filled me with wormth, holiday spirit and love.
this was sooo adorably sweet.. it is cute.. it is cuddly.. it made me smile many times.. it had some snark and banter that made me laugh.. the kids made it everything haha. i loved it
Kane is a mall elf and Sam is the new fake Santa. They don’t exactly get off to a good start. That changes when Kane meets Sam’s five-year-old twins, Emma and Elliott. Oh, Kane has lusted after the guy since he first saw him out of costume, but that's as far as it goes. He's not interested in becoming an instant dad if the relationship goes beyond the bedroom.
What to expect?
Kids, family, and an epilogue so sappy and sweet I still get misty-eyed when I read it. 🙂 If you're not a fan of kids in books, this probably won't work for you. It's all about Emma and Elliott and Sam and Kane working toward building a small family together.
There’s also an age difference between Sam and Kane, with almost 8 years between them.
This is my first read of a Candi Kay book and certainly won't be my last. I loved Kane the Fake Elf & His Sexy Mall Santa. This delicious morsel of a sweet, sexy Christmas love story is just what you need to put you in the holiday mood. I loved the connection and dynamics between Kane and Sam. They fell hard and fast for each other but have to learn how to blend their lives together. Add in two 5 year olds, family and the holiday spirit and I'm sold. I recommend this fast, sweet holiday read. Loved the epilogue!
This was such a sweet story. Kane has been a mall elf for quite a few years and he absolutely loves it. In fact, dealing with all the crumbsnatchers helped him realize his path in life, to be a pediatric nurse. When a new Santa arrives on the scene, problems arise. Mainly the fact that Kane is completely smitten with him, Samuel Clausen who is so obviously straight because of his twins. Sam feels the same way about Kane, but he's under the impression that he's too young. When they clear the air, they decide to give dating a try. Now Kane is terrified of being committed to someone and becoming part of a ready made family, while Sam is holding himself back because of a traumatic past relationship. There's plenty of heat and snarky banter between these two, and the twins were absolutely adorable. A great holiday read perfect for those HEA feels.
So loved the twins. Kane and his relationship with Sam's kids was kind of my favorite part of this book. Sam and Kane worked as a couple, but the joy and Christmas feelings really came through in Sam and the twins.
