The wrong impulse leads him to imprisonment in the right place. Meet the newest Match Mage of the Enchanted Crossroads.
Tomas has lived a carefree life, his family is gone, and he has no one to cater to but himself, so he spends his nights drinking and paying for it with magic.
It was supposed to be a small spell to let young lovers have a night together without the interference of the lady’s fey godmother. It was little enough to do; he simply waited until the appointed time and opened a rift in the wall of magic around the woman in question.
He really should have asked her first.
His innocent client tried to kill her, and Tomas ended up sentenced to having his magic bound to him for fifty years. Only one spell would come when he called, and it was the balancing spell. He was now a servant of the Crossroads, glyphed and bound.
Trill is assigned to keep an eye on his adjustment to the Crossroads, and a more reluctant parole officer has never been seen.
Zenina Masters was born in Canada and lives in Canada. She has a regular job and does nothing particularly exciting with her life. She enjoys fishing, silence and the ability to pick and choose friends she can trust. Life is too short to watch your back all the time.
Her writing life is a teeny bit of escapism, she would probably chicken out if confronted by three naked men and looks forward to one day finding out.
Wow! I am so happy to go back to the Crossroads. Trill and Tomas have a rocky start but come together in the end. They come together with some old friends like Dira and they almost break the Crossroads when they balance. What fun!
I found myself feeling sorry for the male lead when hr nearly refused to follow his heart when he discovered the female lead was the one harmed by his carelessness. HEA all the way!. Also enjoyed seeing glimpses of some of the original Crossroads characters.
Another Excellent Tale from the crossroads. I feel like I missed a story between the crossroads and the enchanted crossroads but the story is as wonderful as always. I love this series!
I have been anticipating the story about the King of the Fey and his bride. Excellent beginning, anticipating more joining at the Crossroads. Thank you. 😍
