The Art of the Celts: Origins, History, Culture

Rate this book
This book is proving to be a delight to me. I didn't that Celtic goods have been found in the western part of Germany, not far from where my brother was born and I lived for close to ten years in the 1970s. This makes me more interested in finding out their history. One little statue has caught my eye as well, here called "Celtic craft god, found in East Anglia. At least I'm assuming he's small; he looks like a leprechaun.

If you love beautiful objects of slightly differing styles going back several centuries B.C., you should love this book--unless, of course, your an old hand at Celtic art.

Loved this - separated by artifact type but a good continuous read.
