“Shall we begin?” When spoken by my new husband, these three little words fill me with terror and anticipation.
In private, King Henry rules my body like he rules his country—with unrelenting control and passion. I crave his orders, his punishment, his commands. Outside the bedroom, we’re strangers caught in a web of lies and decadence.
Our marriage is a sham, a business arrangement devised to save my life and secure his crown. He doesn’t love me. He loves my body, controlling it, shaming it, worshipping it. To survive the dangers at court, I need to be smart, but it’s hard to think straight with a man like Henry between my legs.
Each night, he locks the bedroom door, determined to teach me a new lesson. Obedience, patience, trust. I lie awake in bed waiting for the sound of his footsteps and the latest installment in pleasure and pain. My heart pounds when the hinges creak and his broad shoulders block the door. I’m not ready, but I can’t wait to feel his hands on me. He shoves his bowtie in my mouth, binds my hands to the headboard, and whispers in my ear…

What I want is much more precious and infinitely more difficult to acquire. I want to own you. Inside and out."
Well butter my biscuit, this was a sexy little page turner. If you're looking for a guilty pleasure read that brings an intense thrill and a whole lot of deliciousness, look no further. I was immediately hooked on the connection between King Henry and Everly in The Royal Arrangement, and this brought the sinful conclusion.
The relationship between Everly and Henry is anything but ordinary. He's a man that demands utmost control, and she's a woman that's fighting her every urge to give into his demands. Even though she's almost a kept woman locked away in his tower in this book, she doesn't take it lying down. Her spark and fire burns hot and I really appreciated that. Henry is as intense as ever, and I wouldn't have him any other way.
I would have loved for the suspense element in this story to be better fleshed out. As it was, it felt a bit glossed over and overshadowed by the relationship dynamic. Granted, I didn't mind that too much since I really loved the relationship dynamic, but I still couldn't help but want a little more from the ending.
All in all, this was an addicting and sizzling read that I read in one sitting and I'm definitely a new fan of this author and will eagerly jump on all her future releases.
ARC courtesy of author in exchange for an honest review
This is a pretty good marriage of convenience read. I feel like the first book promised more darkness and corruption, but that honestly wasn’t much of a factor in this read. So it’s good, but that’s about it. Not really intense or intriguing. The angst is mostly these two not wanting to fall in love, and Henry not giving Everly his attention.
Also, does Nicky have his own book? I feel like his story just didn’t end in this one.
Henry and Everly were great characters. Their interactions with each other, their thoughts and struggles to connect to each other felt real. The angst was not overdone. You were able to see and feel the good and bad of both characters as they struggled with their new positions and life and their growing feelings for each other.
The adult intimate scenes were romantic, hot, steamy and very erotic. They are filled with anticipation and toe curling yumminess. 🔥 Had to fan myself a few times.
As for the suspense, I found that area lacking. There is a lot of intrigue. So there were many opportunities in the story to amp up the danger for both our characters that did not get taken advantage of. A couple of times I thought that was going to happen, then didn't. However! There is one instance that was very well written and did have me on the edge of my seat.
I loved the way it ended! A very satisfying HEA. I truly enjoyed reading this story and recommend it to those who love a good, juicy romance.
My copy is an ARC and I think I found 2 typos/editing errors. Which is excellent for any book.

The Rebel Queen By: Jeana E. Mann
*REVIEW* 👑👑👑👑 The Rebel Queen picks up where The Royal Arrangement left off. I recommend reading this duet in order for the sake of continuity. Now, how about this book? Henry and Everly begin this new phase of their relationship as a married couple, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Henry is busy and distracted in his new position. He tries to keep Everly at a distance, to no avail, because he just can't help falling completely for her. Everly now occupies a role that is open to criticism and gossip, and she gets both in spades. Will her relationship with Henry be enough to carry her through this royal labyrinth? Despite these tough adjustments, the chemistry and hotness doesn't waver with these two. Henry is tough, protective and sexy hot. Everly is sassy, intelligent and enchanting. The story is engaging, compelling, sinfully hot and hard to put down. Henry and Everly are pure magic together, and their struggles to survive in a scandalous dangerous situation are relatable. The narrative is sharp, well structured and complex. I couldn't wait to read the next page! Overall, The Rebel Queen is a satisfactory conclusion to an entertaining and delightfully fun duet.
***ARC received in exchange of an honest opinion***
The sequel to The Royal Arrangement, The Rebel Queen, starts right after the first book ended. Henry and Everly need to come to an agreement and marry for each other's benefit. Henry needs a new Queen since his father, the former King died and he's ascending. Everly needs protection from her father and who better than a King for it?
In the midst of this, those two will get to know each other better and their attraction and chemistry will culminate in them learn things about each other and themselves.
I liked the level of angst in this story and both the characters. I do feel like I missed some things, because I haven't read Jeana's other books about characters that make a cameo in this duet. And I still feel like I was left out on some things, but overall this was a good read.
The Rebel Queen was steamy and entertained me. The story was compelling enough and it kept my attention (that's probably why I wanted more from the story and the characters). I really liked Jeana's writing and I want to read more of her books now.
Over all it was a good story, however it didn’t thrill me. It was intense, steamy and interesting but there were no emotions running high. I believe most readers will enjoy it more than I did.
Overall Rating :: 1 star Series :: Book two of The Rebel Queen duet. Hero/Heroine :: Henry/Everly POV :: Alternating. Cliffhanger :: Nope. HEA ::
:::
Welp, I feel a little confused. I read the first installment of the duet, and was totally intrigued. I liked Henry and Everly's dynamic, and their inexplicable pull toward one another. However, after reading the second book, I feel like I read two books of a duet that weren't completely connected with one another.
So, yeah. I'm a bit disappointed with this duet. I'm not intentionally trying to be rude, if I come across that way. I'm pregnant and annoyed in general. I think I was just hoping for something different overall.
The intense passion between King Henry and Everly was intensely hot and oh so seductive that it captivated me right from the beginning. Everly went in thinking that she had control over her emotions when it came to King Henry- yet it proved harder than she imagined to separate herself from feeling anything but release. King Henry & his dirty talk had me wishing it was me there and not Everly 😉 and I realized that if I was falling for King Henry, I knew Everly was too. Yet due to her trust issues I figured there would be a battle of the emotions between the two of them and my goodness I was right because it was an exciting one. I'm not going to give out anymore than this because I want you to be prepared to get lost in this intensely hot seductive love story 🔥 Kara~5 crowns 👑👑👑👑👑
Make sure you read The Royal Arrangement first as this is the conclusion of The Rebel Queen Duet.
I couldn’t wait for Henry and Everlys conclusion. It was everything I wanted and more.
Brilliantly written story with two main characters I couldn’t help but like. The story is so hot with a great storyline. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read more from this author.
It was a month ago that I first read the first book by Jeana E. Mann. I picked up The Royal Arrangement and I was blown away by the impressive storyline that captured my attention. You all know me that I love reading new to me authors. Especially new to me authors that write exciting stories with the power to make me react so much. Fast forward today, I finished reading The Rebel Queen and my heart is overjoyed. Let me tell you, Jeana E. Mann writes a book with so much sophistication and grace. Her stories are like melted butter. Rich and full of flavour. Her characters are unique and tell a story that mesmerize. The Rebel Queen is a well written book that clawsat your heart and make you crave it.
The Rebel Queen is the heart tingling conclusion to The Rebel Queen duet. Smoking Hot. Indulgent. Off the charts Hot. The Rebel Queen is a smexy and mouth watering royal romance with an illicit and decadent story. A dark and sensual story. A soul scorching book filled with intrigue and sinful romance. My heart burned. My soul extinguished with a fiery story that brought flames and sparks on every single page. Blood Pumping. Heart Melting. The Rebel Queen is a sophisticated read with an arousing story filled with court affairs, royal romance intrigue, sexy characters and power plays. Jeana E. Mann’s writing is utterly classy and layered with so much heat. The words totally brought the fire that caused my kindle to sizzle.
Henry and Everly are a formidable that took a while to warm up to. Henry is dominant and an alpha used to being obeyed. Everly is a defiant woman with fire and heart. The Royal Arrangement didn’t fully develop their chemistry but The Rebel Queen changed my mind. Their chemistry was spicy hot and absolutely riveting, I was truly enticed.
The Rebel Queen duet was an enjoyable and I devoured every single word. If you are looking for a hot and dark read, definitely check out The Rebel Queen duet.
INTENSE WILD & HEARTFELT! Oh My Effing Yes! I loved every exciting word. I was engaged excited riding on the edge of my seat filled with anxiety from start to finish never know from one page to the next were the story was headed as it continued to bring out a whirlwind of emotions with an impacting force from a dash of adrenaline angst fear irritation a bit of fun and fighting back tears. The chemistry was hot in a classy kind of way that yes it was descriptive but at times you had to read between the lines. The storyline was brilliantly written with a roller coaster ride of twists and exciting drama. I enjoyed this series so darn much however I'm sorry to say I'm not satisfied with the ending at all. I wanted more. I Did Not Want It To End. The ending wrapped up so quickly I was not ready for it to be over. After all the ups and downs I struggled through in this fantastic series I'm not sure what I hoped for but I'm not overly excited and content with the way it ended. It might be that I'm just being way to needy and overly attached to Everly and Henry and all the obstacles they struggled through for it to be The End. Anywho, I highly recommend this read as a perfect five star read. Get it, and enjoy.
Henry and Everly's love story conclusion is here and I couldn't ask for better. I loved it! Every single bit of it was amazing! I devoured this book in hours, unable to put it down.
Again, King Henry swept me off my feet with his dirty mouth and mouthwatering lessons. I loved the suspenseful part of the story too. So engaging and rich!
This was an interesting conclusion to this Duet. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped, but that won’t stop me from reading other books by this author.
“Do you think you could ever care for me, Everly?” My heart races. I’ve never put myself out there for a woman before. “Theoretically speaking?” “It’s too late.” She traces the pattern of the blanket with a fingertip. Every passing second is torture to my ego. I brace myself for rejection. Her blue eyes lift to mine. “I’m already in love with you, Henry.”
First, let me start off by thanking Goodreads for recommending me this book. I would like to thank my periods for persuading me to read this book. Normally when I read a synopsis that has anything related to BDSM or Submissive Dominating relationship I avoid it. However, like I said I was on my periods and decided to go for it.
Why I avoid such books? Because 95% of those books are just porn. Its basically guy and girl meet, lust at first sight (Please don't feed be the love at first sight bullshit) and then just porn. Those authors should seriously write porn scripts instead of publishing books. However, let's talk about Miss/Mrs. Jeana's masterpiece here. I am SHOOOOOOK. I still can not believe the "lessons" were not detailed. Trust me that makes me really really happy. Because I did not read a porn book but a romance book. I can pinpoint the exact moment where both Everly and Henry realized that this is no longer a business arrangement, it is turning into something more. It did not happen instantly, it took time and we were able to witness all of their struggles until they finally reached their HEA.
This story is all about Everly and Henry, how Henry wants to teach "lessons" to his wife Everly but she is a defiant badass. No other Woman/ Man drama (They both have ex's who aren't given much priority), No miscommunication drama leading one of them to leave the other, just both of them trying to overcome their personal issues to make the relationship work. It was honestly a refreshing book and i would highly recommend anyone who loves romance novels to read this.
“I want to help you become the powerful, confident woman you were born to be-through sex.”
This book had something I didn’t know I would love in a book.
It had one heck of a demanding and possessive hero. Which, I already know I love. What surprised and shocked me was the way this author took such a commanding, demanding, ruthless and alpha male man and brought about a vulnerability in him. To me, that vulnerability makes him human and so much more sexy because of it. Sigh! I think this Henry has got to be one of my all-time favorites.
Henry’s indifferent attitude toward his mother was too apparent and I was happy for it.
Everly has quite a metamorphosis. She goes from a broken, for lack of a better word, doormat and becomes a strong, independent woman that fights for what she wants and to be treated as an equal.
Everly was always kind but she shows it with how she cares for the servants in the castle. She also brings a lightness and happiness to King Henry. Day by day she breaks down his aloof and cold demeanor.
The heat and passion between Henry and Everly are undeniable but trust is fragile. I love the tentative changes that occur in their relationship. It’s not rushed or unbelievable. It is real and heartfelt and absolutely romantic.
This book is engaging, the sensuality drips of the pages and this couple is on FIRE! The intrigue and deceptions abound
There is a small undercurrent of suspense and mystery surrounding Everly’s father’s motives and where he is. And although this was somewhat central to the plot, I found it fizzled. There was so much hype about how dangerous and elusive he is that I was disappointed in the culmination to this part of the story. The same goes for Henry’s ex-fiancee and his mother. These two people created big waves in Henry and Everly’s relationship and it seemed like it all ended too easily and neatly. All tied up in a little bow and all that.
I was also a little disappointed in the close-to-black sex scene in the beginning. We are told about in the past tense by Everly in the next chapter but we never get to experience it. For me, the story would have been better served by experiencing it because this is who Henry is and what Everly craves.
With that being said, however, this was an AMAZING read and definitely worth the one-click.
I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Start with the end of Royal Arrangement, Rebel Queen begin in fast pace. The whirl wind wedding then whisked away to her new home, Everly face a new challenge. Becoming the King consort. With a new mother in law from hell and ex fiancee who I love to trample in her snotty face. And a husband she doesn't know if she can trust nor rely on. While Henry face his job as the new King with a father in law who treaten his wife, an unstable country, his own people lifes and his wife, whom he can't surely trust with his heart. I like their chemistry and the way they battle every second of their relationship. I like how they feel real with their issues. I like how they talk and fight and argue and make up. My only problem with how the author portrayed their relationship is how she dangle the carrot. As in, from the first chapter, their sexual tension is sky high. I can just feel their burning desire on the tip of my tongue. The author did a great job in building the tension. The foreplay is perfect. On their wedding night, the author dissapointed me in a big way. The scene just ended with insinuation that the deed happened. The next chapter, in Everly monologue, she describe what he had done to her last night while we, the readers, get nothing! I feel cheated. For me steamy scenes are part of romance books. From them I see n feel the flow, the changes, the mood of the characters. I don't understand why the author dangling the carrot like that. Good thing she doesn't do it through the whole book. The other thing that make me give four instead of five star, is the fact about Everly's father. He is a big threat to her. He was the reason Henry use to convince her to be his wife. Then why are we only having his news in passing and little in the end??? I kinda wish there's gonna be little suspence or action with her dad's issue.
The epic finale in this duet! Picking up right where the last story left off, Everly says her vows to Henry and is swept away to his home country so he can start to pick up the pieces after his father’s death. Everly quickly finds that while she is grateful that Henry is protecting her from her father, things were never as she thought they were going to be. As they being and start to establish life being married as well as in some sort of normalcy though, Everly finds out that things are not as they seem or typical in relation to her life and childhood. Henry definitely is more overprotective and possessive of Everly, and even when he’s wrong he tends to spin it around on her. They have a different and unique relationship and understanding. I was so into this book in terms of finding out what was going to happen with her father once they found him and how he would keep the country safe in regards to the aftermath, but unfortunately the author didn’t give much on the topic, nor the shooting that wasn’t in relation to Everly’s father. I was a little disappointed in that because the storyline was so heavily built on that suspense and problem that I was hoping the resolution of it would be clearer. Overall though it was a great ending to the duet, especially with this pair getting their HEA. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The book picks up from where the previous one ended and it’s the epic ending of this duet. The author has done an phenomenal job of keeping the readers intrigued and keeping turning the pages. This was definitely a page turner. Nothing was what it seemed it but way deep beyond face value . There was a constant tension between the two main characters was palpable and kept the story quite interesting. I enjoyed how the author kept me intrigued with all the twist and turns in the story and totally kept me hooked to the story from start to finish. I really enjoyed this duet. I was waiting for the next book in the duet since I had finished the first one and I am so glad I didn’t had wait long and got a chance to read an early copy of this book, Thanks to the the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the advance copy. Would definitely recommend this duet!
The perfect ending to a deliciously sinful as well as being a page turner. I devoured this book. Yes, it’s that good. Rebel Queen starts right where The Royal Arrangement end. Everly is on her was to a foreign county as the new King’s consort. How will she handle this, will King Henry be able to keep her safe? All will be answered in Rebel Queen. I loved Henry and Everly’s relationship however unconventional that it started it turned into what was perfect for them. I will admit that I was expecting a bit more drama to unfold but I am happy that it didn’t. It was a pleasure to read about two mature character, watching them navigate the new twists and turns that their life is taking. Read it!
I stumbled upon the first book and was sad that it was a duet and the second part wasn't out yet. I am so glad I found the second part and could finish!
This picks up and takes you to the I do's, Everly and Henry are whisked back home to Androvia where all is not well.
Everly and Henry butt heads with each other, Henry's Ex-fiancee and his Mother.
Henry tries to do right while not falling in love with Everly, as Everly tries to navigate the uncharted territory of becoming a Queen in a foreign land.
Amazing read that keeps you on the edge of your seat and up till all hours of the night to finish reading!
I absolutely loved the story of Henry and Everly. I liked that it was more than just a royal romance of convenience. It was twisty and full of love. Each time that Henry feels himself actually falling for Everly tho, he pulls back because he thinks that a king shouldn’t put anyone before his country. He doesn’t want to get his heart broken again and he doesn’t want to get distracted. Day by day it becomes more clear that Henry is giving pieces of his heart to Everly, but what will she do with them? I loved this defiant Queen and her broody King.
An addictive page turner that had me on the edge of my seat through the whole book, I could not put it down!! Henry and Everly's story is one not to be missed. The chemistry between them is off the charts, I swear I could see smoke coming from my ipad, it was hot AF!!!
I'll definitely be keeping a close eye out for more of Jeana Mann's upcoming work, if they are anything like these books, I'll be in guilty pleasure heaven! :D
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back in my reading cave to read these books again. :D
Where do I start? I love the story of Henry and Everly. I read this book in 5 hours. I couldn't put it down. All the twist and turns and their love story just made my day. I was having a crappy day and when i finished this book I didn't want it to end. If you haven't read it yet...please do.

This is the conclusion of King Henry and Everly's story. Henry is still in control of everything. Everly is a kept woman but strong and defiant. The chemistry is off the charts with them. An excellent read and ending to this duet.

The Rebel Queen is the continuation of Henry and Everly’s story ~ The Royal Arrangement and is not your typical Royal Romance story. The mystery, danger, negotiations and sex continue to fill the pages! Henry, the hot & sexy Price is now King of Androvia and Everly is coronated as his Queen.
Henry is mercurial, arrogant and sexy. Becoming King is consuming his already busy life. Keeping his country together and secure takes a lot of work. Meanwhile Everly is left to fend for herself. She is strong and independent. She must learn to balance her life as a queen. I found it to be very sentimental at times channeling pieces of Princess Diana in a way.
The magic, the danger, the secrets, and the mystery continues. Everly is facing many challenges as the new comer to Androvia. I love her spirit and her spunk! She is full of fire and speaks her mind except in the bedroom where the king always prevails. I found the Rebel Queen to be charming and sexy with a fairytale ending! Next is The Ruthless Knight. I can’t wait to see where will take us!
Jeana E. Mann had me hooked with The Royal Arrangement and I just knew that I had to read The Rebel Queen right away. Needless to say, the book was a complete page-turner from beginning to end. This sexy romance was full of twists and turns, definitely not your average fairy tale.
The book starts right where we left off in The Royal Arrangement as we get to see what happens after Everly marries Henry. As the new king of Androvia, he is expected back home immediately and he takes his new bride with him. But upon arriving to his country, they are met with his disapproving mother and ex-fiancee. They want him to annul the marriage, but he is not having it. He wants Everly and not even his mother will change his mind about his new wife. With her life in danger and the new role that he has to take as king, Henry has a lot to juggle that he forgets the part of being a husband. He wants to protect Everly, but he still isn’t sure how to do that without getting his feelings mixed with their arrangement. It’s after truly seeing how she is with his people and getting to know her that he realizes just how much he needs her to be his forever before it’s too late.
After her father, the former Vice President of the United States ordered a hit on her life, Everly has had to built walls around her in order to not get hurt. Marring King Henry was supposed to be the key to leaving her old life behind, but she is thrust into a world where she needs all the allies that she can get in order to fit in. Henry might rule her body in the bedroom, but she is set on ruling his heart if she can get him to open up to her. They both have suffered in the past and as she gets to know him, she starts to fall in love with him.
I loved reading the duet, it was passionate and full of romantic moments. Henry and Everly truly have a connection from the start and it progresses as the story goes on. They go through ups and downs, but they manage to overcome their obstacles. The main issue in the book is trust. Henry is a new king that has to put his country’s safety first and brining Everly in puts him and others in danger. On the other hand, Henry is overprotective and controlling when it comes to Everly and is not easy for her to fully trust him. But he brought her to his country in order for him to be king and he is going to make sure she is truly ready be his queen. All in all, the story was great the only downside for me is that it skips a lot of details/time. I wish the author could have elaborated some of the scenes towards the end, but it still ended great. The ending fit the whole story, it came full circle and I loved it. I would highly recommend checking out this duet, I cannot wait read more from the author in the future. :)

“I forget the rules of our relationship. I forget about the ban on kisses, our lessons, my desire to keep her at an emotional distance, and—most of all, I forget to protect my heart.”
Following the twists of the first book, Everly and Henry must join forces. And so, the last part of the duet begins with the two getting married. But between the war Everly's emotions are waging in her head and Henry's change in mood and posture, this ceremony is far from a fairy tale. But with her life at stake and his throne threatened, giving up is not an option. And if it were not enough to have to deal with her new enigmatic and distant husband, arriving in a strange country and facing the wrath of a hateful mother-in-law and get a visit from an ex with potential for confusion would not be easy. With all eyes on the new Queen, learning to navigate shark-infested water will drain the forces that Everly still possesses. By adding countless archaic customs, several appointments that do not leave her free time, a drastic change in her wardrobe, and Henry distance, Everly will find herself on the verge of a nervous breakdown. And find herself alone, at the mercy of others and locked in her own room will only increase her anger. But the more challenges are thrown at her, the more she will strengthen and show that she will never bow to others will. She may have become Queen, but she is still the same person beneath all luxury and royalty. Henry, on the other hand, will be buried in trouble. Ruling a country will not be easy, especially after so many years of neglect. But Everly will be his biggest challenge. After all, falling in love with his wife was never in his plans. Their marriage was just a business deal. But his wife is proving to be a weakness he cannot afford to possess. But over time, they will realize that if they want to triumph in this new game that life has put them in, they must stick together. And with that, the lines between duty and pleasure will be broken. One by one. The chemistry between the two remains explosive. Everly does not cower at Henry's demands and rebounds at the same time. The moments he supports her are the best parts of the book. As for the great threat of the plot, I thought something was missing. The book creates suspense but does not deliver its apex. Everly's father had the potential to do great damage, but stood aside in the plot. Like the problems of Androvia, where the retaliations of other corrupt nations over the changes implemented by Henry are not explored. The end was a nice touch, returning exactly where it all began. Everly and Henry fought for their happy endings. And they deserved it.
This was a great conclusion to The Rebel Queen Duet. It was a mix of power, domination, passion, lust, desires, love and intrigue. The scenery created by Jeana was incredible. I just wanted to crawl inside the book and have a walk in the palace garden and rooms.
Book two starts right were book 1 The Royal Arrangement was left. Now Everly is on her way to Androvia to fulfill her part of the arrangement and become Prince Heinrich Von Stratton consort.
Things for Everly wont be too easy or as she thought life of a royal would be. She will have to battle her mother in law and many people of the royal court to get accepted as the new Queen. Believe me her tenacity, perseverance and strong will makes her a fierce woman.
Henry now will become more possessive and overprotective of Everly. He can denied all he wants how she is getting under his skin, but there’s no doubt that even knowing he shouldn’t love the daughter of his enemy, that harden heart of his is softening for the auburn beauty.
The chemistry between Henry and Everly is undeniable and uncontrollable. Every look and touch burns bright between this couple. They are as powerful inside the bedroom as they are ruling Androvia. But even after getting married and witnessing their attraction they can’t seen to accept the love that’s blooming between them. This made for a great banter between the couple.
The only reason I was a bit disappointed with this book was that the conflicts with Everly’s father wasn’t explore further. I wanted a bit more action in this book. Still I did love this book and I’m looking forward to more Jeana E. Mann’s books.
