Glad to make some progress with my currently reading list which has remained dormant for way too long.
I have never read short stories preferring to read novels( bigger the better) instead. This was the first collection of short stories I have managed to complete all my life. I can see why this series of short stories is called the Chicken soup for the X soul. The stories indeed touch your soul. I could not pick my favourite among the 101 stories, each story was special in its own way.
The stories have been curated to strike a chord with your emotions and maybe even see past all the gloom into the distant greener pasture. When I first started this book, it was just a bunch of heart warming stories, when I picked the book again the stories left such a profound mark. This book has definitely earned its right in the self-help section.
If you are facing difficult situation or gloomy or just need some inspiration, read the Chicken soup series to open up your mind. This book is definitely worth a read.

The chicken soup series have always been snackable in terms of books if not In reality for all vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. This book is one of the first ones I ever read (In class 11) and the memory of savouring each and every little piece in it, bit by bit, still lingers on my mind.
A collection of 101 beautiful, heartwarming and heartfelt stories makes up for a good snack time read. The fact that it comprises of stories by Indian writers from Indian perspective makes it even more worth a read for Indians.
Some pieces are so good that you’ll want to re-read them, some are too short but none of them will make you skip a single bit. .
It’s a total 3.5/5 🌟 .

I am a huge fan of inspirational books and I always read as many Chicken Soup books as I can. I believe in miracles so when I saw this book, I was immediately drawn to it.
I have read the international releases as well as books from the Indian series. There is a huge difference in the quality of writing in my opinion however, the stories are heart-warming.
A lot of stories deal with the miracles experienced by the devotees of Sai Baba and also there are a lot of references to religion(Hinduism), gods, goddesses, temples and saints.
People respond to these things differently so choose the book at your discretion. This book is definitely for you if you - believe in God, Angels, saints and miracles.

It is a collection of 101 true stories shared candidly by people, about amazing coincidences, rediscovered faith, and the serenity that comes from believing in a greater power. And these people sharing their personal experiences with us are not the so-called spiritually enlightened yogis or the always meditating saffron wearing sadhus, but regular people like you and me who go to work for a living, love their families to bits and constantly struggle to make life a little better. Some stories are really relatable, and had me see a few incidents of my own life in a new light.

Some of the best stories, some will make you laugh at what you did in past, some will tell the story so good you won't believe that a human can go that extreme, yet true. Some will inspire you and some will make you grow as a person, but with each and every story I have learnt one thing to never quit.
This is something that I read everyday after I wake up and repeat many of the stories I like. :)
