When he met the Reeds, he was a gangly kid with bad teeth and even worse breath. He'd come from nothing, and he was pretty sure that was where he'd end up. Then he met the Reeds, and he was brought into the family fold. With gentle nudges, a little steady guidance, and a whole lot of unencumbered love from a family, he has finally found his place in the world. He just needs someone to share it with him.
During the day, he's a mechanic at a high-end repair shop. Nights and weekends, he does good deeds for others. He's lonely, though, until she walks right back into his life, just like she never left.
Tammy Falkner lives on a farm in a lovely, sprawling little town in rural NC with her beekeeper husband and a house full of boys, a few dogs, and a cat or two (or five – who has time to count?). As half of the Lydia Dare team, she has co-written ten books, including the Westfield Wolves series and the Gentlemen Vampyre series. A huge fan of Regency England, she often wonders what other kinds of magical, mythical and strange creatures might live and interact within the ton. Exploring the theory that the fae can walk between Regency England and their own land, Tammy spends as much time as possible with the lords and ladies of society, horse-drawn carriages, and elegant balls. Now add to that some faeries, a little murder, a bit of mayhem, and a troublesome garden gnome, and you have her exciting new series. She hopes you enjoys her world as much as she does.
If you're ever looking for an author that will consistently bring big smiles on your face, the warm fuzzies in your heart and happy tears to your eyes, Tammy Falkner is the one to look for. I just ADORE the Reed Brothers series and Don't Doubt is an incredible addition to it. Well done Tammy, very well done!
If you’ve been following this series from the beginning you know that the Reed brothers are all happily paired up with lots and lots of kids, but these guys have so much love to give that they’ve included a bunch of other incredibly endearing characters into their fold, including the Fallen from Zero girls and people they’ve crossed paths with along the way. This time it’s Edward and Avery’s story.
Do you remember when Pete Reed went to help out at a camp for kids with disabilities con Calmly, Carefully, Completely? On the way over he met a kid he was tempted to nickname Tic-Tac for a minute or two. That kid is all grown up now and with lots of love and some help from the Reeds has become a very good man who works hard and is dedicated to helps others. His life is almost full, he just needs someone to share it with.
After a terrible loss, Avery found herself completely alone in the world without recourse and trying to take care of her younger sister. Rescued from a street corner and with the Reed’s help she found her way, finished college and is now back in NY and in Edward’s life thanks to some well meant meddling. Now all they have to do is stop doubting and take a leap of faith.
Edward was absolutely swoon worthy. One of the best book boyfriends ever. A man with a ginormous heart of gold. And Avery was ideal for him with her sweet and caring nature. Reading how their romance developed was sweet and charming especially with all the help that came from the ever expanding Reed clan who popped up at the best of times making me smile while updating us super fans of all their shenanigans.
Don’t Doubt is book #11 in the Reed Brothers series by Tammy Falkner. It is a standalone, contemporary romance full of deliciously swoony, sweet, and touching moments. Told from both points of view, with an insanely sweet and tear jerking happy ending.
* I was given an ARC of this book courtesy of the author. The excerpts are from that copy. I am voluntarily reviewing this title. *
In this beautiful ending to the series, we have a scarred yet strong heroine, who finds her soulmate in a man who never forgot her.
The h has has a traumatic past, and has had to make decisions to save her sister that now shame her. Coming back to the Reeds gives her a feeling of finally being home, and soon she meets the H again- whom she had revered until his words hurt her more than any violence could- and she left. Now, she finds love, laughter and happiness, while learning to forgive herself and falling for the man who saved himself for her.
A wonderful conclusion to this heartwarming series. It was so amazing to see all our favorite couples having their HEA, and meeting this new peripheral one. I love the warmth these books provide, and how their core has always been about family and togetherness, despite being sexy and wholesome at the same time. The ending...keep your tissues ready.
I absolutely love this series. The Reed's family is getting so big! I love that they gave an HEA to Edward! They both had a hard life and neither held it against each other. Edward was kinda perfect
Oh My Heart! Once you've met the Reed Brothers, you know that you're going to become family. I was beyond excited to read this book and Tammy Falkner did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I felt each and every ounce of emotion the characters experienced. But most of all I fell in love. Each book can be read as a stand-alone - but I would highly recommend the entire series.
She introduced Gonzo as a young kid in Calmly, Carefully, and Completly when Pete went to a camp. Gonzo was just a kid who'd had a rough life and thanks to meeting Pete Reed, his life completely changed. But that's how this amazing family is.
Now Gonzo has grown up. He's a hard-working contributing member to society. He's built his entire life around the ability to give back to those in need. Gone is the wayward boy - he's now a successful business owner and runs a community outreach program through his shop. It's been years since the love of his life walked away from him. Ran is a better word - but now she's back. But will he be able to finally tell her how he feels?
I would highly recommend this book. It was written perfectly and I fell so hard for Gonzo.
Emotionally powerful. Who knew a old movie videos could make you cry. Two people destined for happiness after a world of hurt find their Happily Ever After
The Reed Brothers series is by far one of my favorite series. I have loved all of the books and all of the characters that are now entwined into each others lives. Falkner has created a family, a world, where doing good deeds for others is not a forced act, but something that comes naturally. It is something I wish was done more in our world for it would make a stronger community.
Edward is by far the most selfless character I've seen. I'm not sure how he affords everything, but money is not something that he stresses about. He takes his own money, his own time, his own abilities, to do something so amazing for people who need a little help in life. I seriously teared up so many times when more of Edward's good deeds get revealed, and he honestly doesn't want any thanks or praise for his actions. He does it to make life better for other people, and that is so touching and awe-inspiring.
Avery has sacrificed many things to make sure she can keep her younger sister, Penny, safe and to keep them together. For her to have the happy ending that she got is just amazing and well deserving.
I can't express how much I love these characters that Falkner created. They are REAL. Real life people, living life one day at a time, and they make the best decisions to make the world a better place. Whenever I'm disgusted by human beings, I always come back to this series, because there may be obstacles that everyone has to deal with, but they do it in a way that wants me to be a better person.
This is definitely a series that I buy the next book automatically even if there were no synopsis, because I know by the end of the book I'm going to have so many feelings and be left wanting to make a difference in the world.
Wooow... so that's it, then, huh? I've reached the end of this series. No more Reed brothers to keep my heart warm and fuzzy with their wonderful hearts, no more band of women who are ready to turn the whole world upside down for their families... I must admit it feels so fucking bittersweet to reach the end of this amazing series, but I know that Tammy couldn't go on writing in this universe forever, even though I wish she could.
That being said, I think it's time to write one last review for this universe; Edward and Avery have a beautiful story of young people falling together through it all. I really liked that Tammy took her time with them, not rushing their physical relationship - not that I have something against that, it's just that for these characters it felt right to wait until almost the end.
I don't want to give away too many details, but if you reached this book, I assume you read all the others too, so you should know hat to expect: a great romantic story and a lovely happy ending that ties it all together.
P.S. I think that I read somewhere that Tammy might give Seth a book, so maybe we haven't truly seen the last of this universe, right? A girl can only hope...
3.5 stars. This was a sweet story that shares the romance story between “Tic-Tac” who we met during Pete’s story when he goes to the camp helping people w/disabilities as TicTac, aka Edward, was the boy on the juvenile offenders’ bus who killed the man who raped his sister. His story coincides with Avery’s story. Avery was the girl in the Christmas story who Logan & Emily saved from prostitution and gave her and her little sister an apartment for 3 mos. This novel takes place 4 yrs later. Edward owns an auto repair shop and lives with his sister, Susan who is dating Gonzo (the boy in the wheelchair at aforementioned camp). Avery returns home from graduating college with her little sister Penny in tow.
This was heartfelt and ok. The sweet story has 2 broken people trying to figure out how a relationship works. I wish I could do a full review, but I am super sleepy 🥱 so this little blurb will have to suffice.

Tammy Falkner never fails to amaze me, yet again another superb story. This one is about Edward and Avery, will their sorrowful teen years follow them into young adulthood when they both deserve their HEA. Once again the Reed Brothers open their arms and their hearts and welcome this couple as members of their extended family. Read how Edward makes peace with his past faults and helps Avery forgive herself. Their story pulls at your heartstrings, keep the tissues handy for the epilogue and Don’t Doubt this is another fantastic read from Tammy 🥰🥰🥰
I am such a sucker for second chances and this one is beyond amazing! Of course I love that the whole Reed family is involved with both Avery and Edward! So many funny, practical, serious times that the Reeds interspersed themselves into Edward & Avery's relationship! I love how Edward and Avery shared similarites, but had several differences too. There was a couple of chapters that were pretty emotional, tear jerkers. I don't cry at anything, but even I was so very touched. So many wonderful characters involved in this amazing story of forgiveness, love, maturity and redemption!
Omh! I lovecthe Reed series, so much! I wasn't expecting this story, so when it popped up, I may have swooned a little. Heh.
Edward & Avery have a sweet but slightly rough history - both individually & together. I absolutely adored their story! Perfect pacing & full of love! Penny & Susan & Gonzo & the whole Reed clan made their story sparkle, too. The way this family continues to expand... Fantastic!! 😀 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book was so worth the wait. As I have come to expect from the wonderful Reed brothers and all their extended family this addition was a gem of a story. I love how Tammy Faulkners characters are so well rounded. Her characters are a rich mixture of people, and the warmth, love and acceptance they all display makes me wish there was more people like them in the 'real' world.
I love Tammy Faulkner’s Reed Brothers series. It is a mix of serious life subjects, but wrapped in reminding us good people, good acts and love still flourish. I loved Edward and Avery’s story of how they both thrived despite having pasts society judge them for. The Reed family are mixed throughout the book and I loved how they just ooze love! One of my favorite series ever!

It's like slipping into the most wonderful dream, over and over, seamless, sweet, funny, warm, touching, moving and bursting with love, admiration, and wonder at this beautiful family. I want to be in this family!! Tammy you are a genius, painting the most touching moments in the ordinary. Golden. My heart is warmed and primed for living.
What an amazing series these Reed Brother books are..!!! From the beginning with Logan to the last one with Edward they have intertwined an amazing group of people with lots of stories that are funny, sad, emotional, hurtful, informative about disability/sickness & lots of happily ever afters... ❤️❤️ Another great book by Tammy.
I give this book 5 SWOONING HEARTS! Tammy Falkner is a master at telling an incredible story of normal people trying to make their way through life and finding the love of a lifetime in the process!
#20. Wow. The family that just keeps giving. Tic Tac got his story. Yeah to understand that, read Pete's book (#1,029 lol). Just save yourself and read all of them. You'll end up like me,more than half in love with these Reed Boys! And the adopted ones.
A beautifully told, incredibly touching story with a perfect happy ending for a man who deserves nothing less than the best. Thank you Tammy, for another beautiful story in the Reed family world. It was totally worth the wait.
So, I am just ecstatic that Edward got a beautiful story and hea! And can I gush about Gonzo?!?!!? I loved hearing all about my favorite huge family! I hope to be hearing more about Marcus, and others we met in this book!
