A new prophecy. Terrifying creatures. A royal family who wants them dead.

Hoping for a less dangerous venture than their last, Crystal and Nathan enter the watery realm of Quagon in search of her brother, Rex. Along the way, they meet friends new and old, and Nathan discovers something shocking about himself. But the threat in Quagon is greater than anything they faced before.

A deadly monster lurks beneath the waves, yet an even greater threat looms on the surface. The King will stop at nothing to keep foreigners out of his realm.

Crystal and Nathan struggle to avoid detection at every turn, knowing there’s nowhere to run and all of Zilferia is counting on them. Will they find him before they’re pegged as fish out of water?

This young adult portal fantasy was another wonderfully written installment to the series! There were new characters,as well as some old returning ones. The world building was vivid and compelling. Again, there were twists that were surprising and unexpected.
With the Dragon Hunters still raging war, the portals to other realms destablizing, and the urgency to find the lost heir of Zilferia Crystal and Nathan embark on a dangerous mission that changes them forever. Before they leave for Quagon they work to unite the Merfolk, Soho's, and Dragons to join forces with the citizens of Zilferia for the war.
What discoveries will they make? Will their mission bring them closer together, or drive a wedge between them?
I received an ARC with no expectation of a review.

This one was a roller coaster of emotions and twists! Getting an early version of the second edition to help the author out, I didn't know what to expect! I love the ongoing and new plot threads and characters that intertwine and interact! How the overall plot and threat unfolds and becomes apparent as the story and books progress. I always find it so interesting how different characters react in different situations, especially when their survival depends on it. Of course, I also love the relationships and bonds with the dragons. Anything dealing with that will always pull at my heartstrings! A story can make you feel so many things and make you laugh out loud! There surely were a few moments where I had to burst out a chuckle or two! I have become so much invested in this series now! I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Book three continues Crystals quest perfectly. The realm of Quagon sounds breathtaking, and the enhancements that Crystal and Nathan go through could be pictured perfectly. There is so much uncertainty as to who belongs with who and even more characters get added into the mystery. The younger prince of Quagon seems noble and yet still retains a pure innocence about him. Two more supporting characters make their debut in the epilogue which truly keeps the readers guessing as to the direction that book four will take. Very enjoyable series so far. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Will Crystal be able to find her brother in this strange realm of Quagon?

This time around, Crystal and Nathan are together again, but just the two of them, no friends, no familiars, just the two of them. This story takes us to a totally different realm than what we’re used to and now, they have to fit in because if they don’t, they may not survive. We have a revelation or two in this story as well, pretty interesting ones at that, not to mention all the action and more danger. I can’t wait to see what happens in Book Four of The Crystal Dragon Saga.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

WOW--things really took a sharp turn in this 3rd book of the Crystal Dragon Series! As our protagonists travel to different realms, things change, but on Quagon, they REALLY change! The world is totally different from any that they've visited before and it's really fascinating. Katie has done it again and has imbued this world with a different 'feel' from the 3 that have gone before. The dangers are different and profound. Crystal and Nathan transform themselves to fit in, but still have a few adventures they didn't count on. This is a very satisfying 3rd book in the series...

I love how in “Crystal Lies” by Katie Cherry we meet back up with Crystal and Nathan as they are still traveling the realms. When they get back to Quagon things have drastically changed. But is all this change going on for the better or for worse? If you want to know what happens I guess that you will have to read “Crystal Lies” to find out what happens. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Love this!

This author did an amazing job at writing this book. Nathan and Crystal are some awesome characters! They both look for strength, compassion, and hope in each other. This book had me on edge! I stayed up until 2 to finish reading it because I couldn’t put it down. Well done Katie!

I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the third book in The Crystal Dragon series, and both the characters and the worlds created by the author are just amazing. If you are a fan of YA literature and dragons, you'll love reading this series. I recommend starting with the first book in this set so you can see the growth of each character as the adventure continues.

Crystal and Nathan are on a great new adventure! New people and new surprises arise. Also new dangers. I'm excited for the next book in the series! I'm still hoping for a certain guy to get with Crystal. Hopefully he does in the next book. Things are about to get more dangerous and they have to rely on the ones they trust. Great book!

Book 3 of the Crystal Dragon Series does not disappoint. It is currently my favorite books. The new realm is beautiful. The new creatures are exciting. Fan favorites are back. Actually had a couple moments where I didnt expect what happened to happen. The characters and their relationships continue to develop in an enjoyable way. If you read this series, you will obviously like this sequel.

Katie has done it again with this 3rd book in the Crystal Dragon series. Once again the story flows seamlessly through the previous books and into this one.
The characters Crystal and Nathan are the best of friends, looking to each other for support and encouragement.
Can't wait to see where the next book takes us!

Are you looking for that novel that sucks you in deeply and emotionally? This is it. The major world building and characters take you out of this world and into not just one story but many within one. I’ve fallen deeply and passionately with each character in their own way some with distain and others with love.

This is edition 2. I enjoyed reading and definitely recommend this and the rest of the series. I originally read/reviewed edition 1 and knew it was worth reading this edition too.
