Octavian takes Barbara on a seniors’ cruise for her seventy-first birthday, but the vacation is not all piña coladas and shuffleboard. Barbara makes a frenemy in Georgina Branch, queen bee to a group of equally conniving girlfriends. Barbara is sure one or all of them killed the passenger who accidentally fell overboard early in the trip.

Barbara and Octavian are stuck on a ship with a murderer, but at least the cruise has plenty of booze. Before their vacation gets cut short by another “accidental” drowning, can Barbara find the killer and keep her boyfriend safe?

I always love a good Harper Lin novel and this one is set on one of my favorite things to do....on a cruise ship!! You know going into the book there will be a murder, what you don't know is who will be murdered and how. Ok, the how blew me away but I can tell you nothing because you need to read this for yourself and determine how it all works on your own.

What you need to know going into this is that Octavian and Barbara are adorable together and I love that they took a cruise together. The other thing you need to know is just when you think you have it figured out....you don't!!!

These ladies are insane 😂😂. This was mean girls on Bengay. Octavian does this wonderful thing for Barbara aka super granny and takes her on a cruise for her 71st birthday and what do you know, they encounter a group of mean old women who put mean girls to shame with their cattiness and antics. Unfortunately one of the group is murdered and Super Granny and Octavian are on the case. Octavian has a big role in this book and he is hilarious. His distaste, exasperation and outrage at the mean women is palpable and lol.

Barbara's boyfriend, Octavian has booked a cruise to celebrate Barbara's birthday and though she is not overly thrilled about it she agrees to go. Of course, there's a murder aboard the ship and with Octavian's help, Barbara is determined to solve the mystery. I enjoyed this mystery and all of the action and adventure. This is a very fun series.

I found Granny as always up to her knees with folks who want to do her harm: and don't stop to feel too bad at murder. I think this was not one of my favorites in the series, but I still like to folllow up on the main characters. They lead such different lives from my own.

Granny on a cruise ship is bound to have lots of laughs and a mysterious murder. This story had me guessing the whole time though. When a group of women are so close knit, they become a force to be reckoned with. With so many passengers and so many pasts to weed through, Barbara has her hands full on this case

Oh my gosh! The best part of this Secret Agent Granny episode was the names of the songs. Every single one made me chuckle. I will forever be picturing a bunch of seniors dancing to “The Stairmaster”. This time Barbara tried to get away with her boyfriend but alas, murder follows.

Another great addition to the hilarious Granny series! Octavian takes Barbara on a seniors cruise for her birthday. Before the ship can leave the dock, they have been ramrodded into a group of women traveling together who share the rooms in the same section as Barbara and Octavian. From that moment on it is a wild ride that, of course, includes murder on the high seas. Begrudgingly the couple must solve the murder in order to salvage their cruise together, Fortunately 75 year old ex-secret agent Barbara Gould has the skills, as well as popping knees, to get the job done. You won't want to miss this fun adventure. It will keep you entertained to the very end!

I fell in love with this book as soon as I started reading. Barbara and Octavian are on a cruise to celebrate her birthday. From the moment they step on the ship things start to happen. Barbara and Octavian (yes, both of them) are drawn into a murder mystery and work diligently to solve it. Not only is the mystery happening, but Barbara and Octavian take their courting to the next level - kissing. I love how this courtship very slowly progresses. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Barbara is back again solving another death. Murder just seems to find her. Octavian decides to surprise her with a cruise.
Trying to get her away from murder and dead bodies. Well that's not going to happen.
They meet and taken over by a woman's group. Leader and follower. She was so strong in personality and tried planning their whole cruise. They reminded me of the mean girls group. Oh this was a seniors cruise.
First thing happened was the group having an argument with a lady. Barbara was curious about the event and needed to know why. So when a murder happens she was on the case. Poor Octavian, there went the quiet, fun cruise.
I love this series. It us always so entertaining.

So much better than the last book; this is probably my favorite book in the series! It feels so much more at home when it's more rooted in mystery instead of organized crime. I even liked Octavian in this book, which is big praise considering I haven't liked him since the beginning. My one critique is the author keeping on referring to the members of the other cruise ship as the gay men. I mean it's true and I'm glad for the representation, but I guess since I'm gay myself I know there's more to a person. The book still deserves the five stars

Octavian treats Barbara to a cruise for her birthday. Everything would be fine except for... Georgina Branch and her group of conniving girlfriends. Soon there is a 'man overboard' and Barbara is sure that Georgina and her group had something to do with it. Can Barbara and Octavian stay alive long enough to prove who the killer is and get back to port? You will need to read this Laugh Out Loud book to find out! Love this series! It keeps getting better with every book. In this episode, Barbara and Octavian take what is supposed to be a nice, quiet, relaxing cruise. However, a body winds up overboard under mysterious circumstances and their table mates are the main suspects, but which one did it? No worries, Barbara will get to the bottom of it.

This is one of my favorite series and Granny on Board has been an excellent adventure!
Barbra Gold, retired CIA undercover ops expert, goes on a seniors cruise with boyfriend, Octavian. Of course, someone dies, murdered, leaving Barbara and Octavian to catch the killer. Throw in contentious women, booze, boarding passengers from a gay cruise who had engine troubles and LOTS more BOOZE for a high seas escapade with laughs !!

Granny is always fun, gets involved in solving mysteries.

This time she is on cruise with her boyfriend where a bunch women just want to break up happy couples because they themselves are miserable.

I especially love it where the singer told Georgina the queen bee that 'he had lots beautiful woman throw themselves at him and you are not one of them.' then he put his arm around the guy that was with him and sauntered away. hahahaha.

Octavian books a cruise to celebrate Barbara's birthday. Barbara is thinking it's going to be a very boring cruise, but then everything goes sideways lol.
A few twists in the story will keep you guessing about who the murderer is.. Love this series of books!

It's by far the most intricate plot in the series. The setting and characters were well made use of to serve the story. I did however notice an elongated and irrelevant reference to one of her earlier missions. I hope it doesn't become a trend.
