i read it because of my classes and i actually really enjoyed it, it's a good short book to learn about martin luther king's history and his achievements
I picked up this book because I wanted to learn a little more about black American history and about Martin Luther King, just for fun. But as I first started reading I realized that I didn’t know many of the stories written and I instantly became interested. I couldn’t put it down and read it after dinner in one setting. This was a great introduction to the history of black people in America, and I am grateful for the easy vocabulary and grammar of this book, ideal for children and teenagers. I will definitely recommend this book to my fourteen year old brother :)) (Actually I’ll make him read it)
It was an interested story about a man who loved his country. Many people want to change things, but the different between them and King is that he acts. I loved this story so much, and it learned me many things. It was very helpful to improve my English and specially the vocabulary🌷.
"How was this possible in a country like the United States of America, the 'land of the free'? People began to ask questions about freedom in America. Was it only for white Americans?"
It's my first time reading a book written by Alan McLean. It's a smart little guide for the life of Martin Luther King Jr. I had read it in one session. I like it.
