Another series to love!

- Falling for the playboy
I love this author's work! She is passionate and her characters are always full of so many feelings and complexity.
And we can always expect a broken, cocky hero with a heart of gold and a sassy heroine fighting her battles and trying to carry her baggage.
Evan and Mallory had so much chemistry and their feelings were all over the place. They were intense and their felt so much and so deeply, that their closeness and feelings for each other left them confused and so scared, because they were way stronger thatn they could have expected.
Evan is a playboy, but there are so much more inside him that he doesn't let out, and little by little we get to know him better and understand his moves and fears and personality.
Mallory is already trying to heal from a recent burn, so a cocky player is the last thing she needs. But she doesn't expect to meet Evan and she expected even less to know the real him. So even though he hurts her (even if not intending to), she can deny the pull he has over her.
Actually, neither one of them can deny it and, as time goes by, they don't want to deny. They start to realize that their feelings are not something that you can overlook or simply ignore.
They are not just jumping and having fun, they are definitely falling. And they are trying to find out, together, if they can handle the landing.
- Redeeming the playboy
Evan and Mallory are totally in love with other. And as they fight some demons from the past, they discover they have new ones coming their way.
But the great thing is that they are fighting together now. They are not each other's saviour, but they are definitely each other's partner in their battles.
They are extremely passionate and even though that is amazing for the security they need considering their pasts, it also can bring some heated discussions.
The pretty thing, though, is that they are willing to be a better a more mature person and make them work. They were willing to work their own issues in order to build a solid relationship, not only based on chemistry anymore. They wanted it to be based on their trust and love.
They are not living just for the present now, as they were in the first book. Now they are considering their future together and trying to make amends, right the wrongs and stablish their balance.
It's interesting, because it was a book where Evan was finding redemption for so many of his actions and for things that wasn't even his fault, but he needed that closure more than he thought he did.
And it was also a book where both of them grew so much. They had a lot of feelings going on, but they started to learn how to use and direct those feelings for their benefit, for their own sake and for the growth of their relationship.
They wasn't fighting against each other, they were fighting for each other and the beautiful future they could see ahead of them, even if so many things were yet to be solved.
It was definitely the redemption of the playboy, but more than that, it was the start of their maturity.
- Loving the playboy
Since the very beginning of the series, we could see the great chemistry they both had. They were even so many times volatile.
But as they spent more time together, specially in the second book, they really grew and started to embrace responsabilities and act like grown ups.
It was interesting to see them get more and more mature.
And now it was like they were really being adults. And not only from age, but for their actions. They faced their obstacles, they took risks, they stood up for themselves and for each other.
They faced whatever was necessary to be together.
They weren't teenagers in a crush.
They were adults in love, with all the struggles that life often throws.
In this book, they finally started to find a common ground between them and together, they begin to build their lives and their futures.
And they didn't spare their feelings. All their love, lust, care, worries and fears, all their banter and chemistry, all of that and so much more were fundamental to build their relationship and make it grow.
I spent this week with them, and it was so beautiful watching them page by page, book by book, how willing they were to make them work.
They would stop at nothing and no one.
It was time to love the playboy. It was time for the playboy to love.
And love they did!
