It’s well written for the age group and has useful information as well as summaries at the end of every chapter that make it really easy to skip through things you’re not as interested in

This book is perfectly written for young teenagers just starting to learn all about money and banking. As someone who studied finance at school and achieved a grade A i would say that this book covers a wide range of topics and simply explains each topic as well as going into detail. Unfortunately i feel as though i can only give this book 3 stars, although i understand it is extremely difficult to make a book about money timeless, i felt as though the book is extremely outdated as it uses statistics from 2007 such as assuming University halls in London are £80 per week which in today’s economy is anything but the case. This is no fault of the writers just keep that in mind when purchasing the book. overall this is a great book to teach young teens to be mindful of their money habitats and perhaps this book should be coupled with another more recent book to give a greater understanding about today’s economy.

I liked this book. I have not read many non fiction books as they can be dull. My Mother bought me and my brother a copy each to help us manage our money... I tried reading it age 9 but failed as money was at that time not as stimulating for me. I picked it up on my way out and since then, I have been reading it when I am in that 'money burning a hole in your pocket' frame of mind and it makes me think not just about the here and now............
