This was an epic and justified conclusion to an even more epic series. I loved it. I normally don’t read books of this genre, but once I started reading book one in this series, I was hooked. It couldn’t have been written any better. Each books gets better and better. I am sad to see the story end, but I’m glad to see Nova’s journey come to an end. It was an amazing ride!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Nero Kingdom is the final book in the Neron Rising Saga.

I must say that I truly enjoyed these episodes very much. While I am a lover of sci-fi movies and shows, this was my first sci-fi read and would highly recommend it to anyone who is a lover of fantasy.

Keary brings everything full circle in this episode. Nova's purpose to destroy Cyrillius and his reign over every planet has come to an end, she still needs to fix what he initially started - her birth planet.

I enjoyed this book but felt like it all came together a little too perfectly and a little easily. If I can be honest, I was hoping that Keary was going to end this as Season 1 and start off another season with Nova staying on her home planet and fighting Cyrillius as he attempted to start all over again (since he was never captured after his ship was destroyed in episode six). But alas, that is not what we get.

As for what we did get, I can't rate this lower than 4 stars because I did not get what I wanted. LOL Keary ends this saga on a happy note and does give her readers an ending they will love. While it was not my preferred ending, it was still a very well written episode and the series itself is very entertaining and one I could easily seeing being made into a mini-series on Netflix or something alike.

Whew, and we're done!

I have enjoyed this series and the fact that it has managed to evolve past being just Reylo fanfiction into its own entity. I mean, it could use more depth and it often moves with inconsistent pacing, but the overall narrative is just some light fun with a melodramatic, starcrossed romance. I definitely got the sense that certain characters were created with a purpose but then had their plotlines dropped (e.g. Reena in particular, she kind of got written out of the narrative, and Zayne was lowkey deadweight) as the author's ideas changed. And beyond that, I'm not too sure that Valen's darkness was explored enough or that the author set up a completely satisfactory answer to "How would the galaxy handle Neron distribution without Dominion?"

Also, whatever happened to that Laziria subplot that got totally dropped? I feel like Edan would like some closure regarding that.

Still, it was a fun ride.

The finale of the Neron saga and it's all been leading up to this. Nova, Valen and their closest allies have arrived at Glorra Quin Lune with the intention of unfreezing the worlds from the grip of Neron, however the threat of Cyrillius is very real - he's defeated but not dead.

I loved seeing Glorra, I'd have liked to spend more time there getting to know the planet, its' inhabitants and seeing how they cope with realising they've been frozen for 2 decades and the universe has moved on without them. I want to know more about the royal family too, but this is Nova and Valen's story and it's not quite over until Cyrillius is gone. Not going to lie, I'd have liked to see how he was captured and brought back because I loved the friendship between Valen and Odo and that journey I'm sure was interesting. Nice to see there are no loose ends though, although it's far from straightforward.

Now it's done, I'm excited to read it again all in one go, it was fun to read an episodic story for once rather than binging the lot, but there's something to be said for a good binge. Great story, great characters and I hope this isn't the last we've seen of the Neron world.

I’ve had a lot of series I love end recently and they’ve been fabulous, but I have to say the end of this series is by far the best. Nova and Valen finally, finally find out about Nova’s past while finally defeating their enemies (can’t say much: spoilers!). This wrap up had just so much heart, I cried at the end. The relationship between Nova and Valen is so touching and wonderful, and the author is very talented in showing the readers the overall emotions the characters are going through. Add to that the action and the other characters, this series wrap-up was the best I’ve read lately, and, like I’ve said, I’ve read some really excellent books recently. If you are fan, you will absolutely love this! If you haven’t started, you do need to try this excellent adventure from loneliness to a heart bursting with family. Highly recommend! I received a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Just like every single book I have read from Keary Taylor, she has an amazing ability to clean up all the small details that seem insignificant , but add a ton of character to the story. The power behind this story is so subtle that as you read it, you dont realize the emotion behind it until it's too late.

Nova and Valin wrap up all the chaos of their lives, and move back to the the frozen kingdom. And just like like Nova she takes the bull by the horns and handles the problem like a boss. I highly enjoyed the explanation behind the neuron and the life it breathes into all that surround it, as well as the reason for the frozen kingdom.

I wish the story would have gone into more detail with Edan, and at the same time I would love to have a novella based off of his story because I loved every second of his story and the budding friendship between him and Nova!

It had been such an adventure to watch this world move from tyranny to war, then to freedom. Thanks for the journey!

Perfect... This is seriously the perfect ending to this amazing series! I was so excited about this book I blew threw it in a matter of hours!
With Nova, Valen and crew arriving at the Frozen kingdom this book pulls you in from the start and I could not wait to find out what would happen next. The way Keary describes these worlds is incredible and I am able to get lost in the story very quickly.

Finally Nova and Valen are able to descipher everything that has been a blank space since we started this journey. Keary has a way to intertwine all the threads from every book into this one and answer all the questions we had. I loved loved loved this serie. It was so beautiful and amazing from the start until the end. Can't wait to see what Leary creates next.

Finally all of the answers we needed! This is what the entire series has been leading up to! Keary has book by book built an amazing foundation here for us to come home to a little home nearly wrapped up perfectly with a bow. I could NOT put it down, so sad to see the end of this series and these characters but also so happy how it ended.

In the final installment of the Nero Rising Saga, Nova and Valen have won the war, but Cyrillius is still on the loose. When they discover his plan to kidnap another Nero child, they set out to stop him.

I was a bit disappointed with the ending of the story, and I wanted a more climatic ending with Cyrillius. I did enjoy that the origins of Nova are explained, and so much is brought to light.

This was an exciting and fun sci-fi fantasy series. I enjoyed Nero Kingdom.

Overall, Four Boundless Stars

Nero Kingdom is the last installment in Keary Taylor's VERY epic space opera saga. It's been a long and tedious journey with Nova, Valen, and her gang of family and friends. As Nova finally starts to realize her dreams and premonitions, will she be able to fulfill this lifelong journey to find the truth of her origins?

I loved the ending of this epic saga. Did I say it was a VERY epic saga? All the culmination of Nova's journey through the 7 books finally brings Nova to the truth of her birth and who she is meant to be. Luckily for Nova, her father, friends, and main guy, Valen Nero - now her fiance - has stuck with her throughout this crazy journey of hers to bring her to her birth place and help her through whatever decisions she might make. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I can't really say much about where she really came from and who she really is. But if you've been reading all of the 7 books up to this last one, then you've probably already guessed who Nova is.

What I can say however, is that a very cruel and hateful man is finally brought to justice in a very just way. Cyrillius was and still is a horrible being, hell bent on dominating all of the galaxies by trying to secure another young Neron child. But as Nova's allies rally against Cyrillius with the help and hope of Nova's guidance, Cyrillius realizes that his gig is up. In a last effort to try and win, he inevitably shows his hand and Nova wins. I am happy to know that Cyrillius deserved what he got in the end.

Now, be sure to pick up ALL of the Neron Rising Saga as you MUST read all of the books to really get a feel of the story. You won't be disappointed by the fantastically engaging writing and all the drama, romance, war tactics throughout the stories. You'll root for the good guys to the end and all of the characters sort of get their own happy endings.

Thanks again to Keary for a wonderful series!

To be honest, I was contemplating my rating for this book the entire time I was reading it. I wasn’t sure. It is so unlike any story I have read before. Most stories have pockets and twists and turns that make my heart race with anticipation, but this story is just clear and straightforward. It’s a straight path from the beginning all the way to its ending. In some way, I am quite disappointed, just a tad bit really, at how the story progresses throughout the series. However, that ending just made me stop thinking and immediately gave it a full 5-stars. It was so *fangirling*!!!

The cast of characters are amazing! We got introduced to a spatter of new characters, some of which I think we need more closure on, but all in all they don’t rouse too much curiosity so its fine. Now, where can I find myself a Valen? I am in dire need of a Valen!! A Nova I can skip, I’m not that fond of her. And sign me up for an Edan either! I can do with a friend like that! I’m still not okay with the lack of deaths in this book but as I said, it’s a straightforward book so no surprises anywhere really.

As a young adult reader, I find that the line between good and bad is truly blurred in this episode. Usually there is a message of some kind during the ‘punish the villain’ scene, but I don’t find it here. And I pretty much skimmed through that scene because I disagree with what happened. There is no young adult tag on this book so there’s no one to blame actually. I just, agree to disagree.

I do think, however, that if each episode can be truly and fully developed, this will be a much greater series. But as I’ve said in my review of ‘Neron Wars’, this is just a sandwich you eat for brunch; light and fulfilling. Oh, and it also gives you that fuzzy feeling you get after eating good food.

So here we are, at the finale. And what a finale that was!!!

They say that a good book will leave you hung over when you’re done, and this series of books has. I loved it.
I have struggled at times, where it may have dragged on and off throughout the series, but it all came together in this last book. It feels final. All tied off with a gorgeous neron coloured bow.

We finally learn who Nova’s parents are, and that she is known by another name to a whole kingdom of people.
She finds out she’s a princess! And really struggles with what comes with it. She wasn’t raised in this life, and doesn’t know what to do. She Longs for freedom and no rules, just her, her hubby and their future kids.

The final battle is over so quickly, almost too quick, but the power that this kingdom has, will overcome any foe as fast as you can blink.

nova and Valen get their ultimate revenge on their tormentor. And it brings Valen closure.

Overall, this book tied the series up nicely and it was a great end. I was left satisfied and with no lingering questions about anything.

Yet again, Keary has written something beautiful.

Have you ever had a book series where you have honestly considered putting the last book off for as long as you can cause you didn’t want it to end. Well that was exactly what happened with me with the conclusion of the Neron Rising Saga. It’s been a roller coaster ride for the characters of the series from start to finish.

For 21 solars, tales have been told of the Frozen Kingdom, Glorra Quin Lune, a planet entirely covered in Neron. Nova has been having visions, people asking for her help and in typical Nova fashion, she wants to do anything she can to help. With Cyrillius all but defeated, he is now on the search for another Nero child, but Nova, Valen and their friends will do what they can to stop him once and for all.

I don’t want to say too much about this story and the new characters we are introduced to, in case it gives anything away. This was certainly an epic conclusion to a brilliant Saga which I could happily read again and again! Beautifully written and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I wouldn't say no to any novellas written about Edan either, just saying.

I really enjoyed this book, and the whole series, to be honest! Keary Taylor’s imagination is like no other, I really felt that this world she created was real, and possibly out there somewhere. In a day & age where it seems like we have seen and/or read it all, this is refreshing. Keary did a great job at wrapping up all loose ends in the final book, though I have to say I’m sad it ended when it did. I felt that there was more story to hear, not to knock the series, what-so-ever, I guess it just felt a little rushed.

In the final installment so much happens...We learn the truth about our heroine, Nova. We get to meet her birth family, and home planet. We even see an final end to the “big bad” of the series. And finally, we see the future that Valen and Nova have been searching for.

All in all, this was a fantastic read! I’m only giving it 4 stars because I felt it was a bit rushed, but that may be just me. It’s more like 4 & 3/4 stars, really! 😉

This was a fitting conclusion to The Neron Rising Saga. Whenever I read "THE END" it makes me a little bit sad, but when the phrase is ending one of Keary Taylor's sagas, it makes me INCREDIBLY sad. Taylor does such a good job of creating worlds that my imagination has a difficult time leaving it in the past. The story continues in my head.

Taylor has successfully written a sci-fi series for people who don't normally read sci-fi. Valen and Nova's story could easily appeal to the masses as an epic blockbuster movie. Any filmmakers out there? Please turn this into a movie! I'm dying to see Glorra on the big screen!

If you haven't read this seven-episode story, do yourself a favor and add it to your summer reading list. It is fun, action-packed, and romantic. It checks every single box for the perfect summer read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ending to this saga. It was filled trials that Nova had to endure. Even when the fighting was all over, she still had trials following. The sadest moment was when she had to tell her mother and father that she couldn’t stay. That she couldn’t be the princess they had wanted her to be. But, the best moments were when Cyrillius finally got what he deserved. With Odo taking 21 solars from him, Nova putting thoughts that could have been what the future entailed and Valen finally getting the revenge he needed. I enjoyed it and was very happy that by the end, Nova and Valen finally got the ending they saw in their future. It touched me that she would name her daughter, what her parents had originally named her.

I really loved the final instalment to this saga. ‘Nero Kingdom’ wrapped up this adventure so well with just the right amount of excitement and romance. Keary Taylor wrote this adventure brilliantly and this was a fitting and enjoyable end to this story.

This episode is a fast paced read with lots of twists and turns. Nova is a great central character - she led the whole series with integrity and grew as a heroine with the saga. This book is no different and she is a fantastic protagonist - I found her easy to identify with and loved getting to know her.

This book really wraps up the story, leaving no loose ends. I enjoyed seeing how each storyline intertwined and how Nova took on each challenge in the episode. A great read and it’s a shame that it’s all over.

Fantastic ending to an incredible series! WONDERFUL conclusion to the Neron series with Keary's signature twists and turns along the way. The conclusion to this series had so much compassion and love - that you are left feeling the love between Valen and Nova not only for their relationship but also for the relationships that they have built around them. Each character in this series had so much thought put into them that it is amazing to see them all come to life and live full circle through these novella's. If you have not read the Neron series do not hesitate to pick them up and start the journey. I went from never being a fan of sci-fi ti absolutely falling in love with this series! I am so sad to see this journey end but can't wait to see what else Keary has in store for us!

The end of this series is here. It's sad and great at the same time. You finally learn all about Nova's passed. I will say they way she handled it made me sad because i know she doesn't want to be anyone important but she just gave up and hid from the first moment. Buy it didn't stop me from loving it. The very last was so beautiful knowing how they lived and how they ended up. And you get to know about all the characters so that was really nice. What a great series and i can't wait to see what Keary writes next.
