Kaoru has been reincarnated in another world and receives a cheat ability that allows her to create potions as an apology for her death. After creating a commotion wherever she goes with her powers and calling upon the Goddess Celes to create miracles, her travels have led her to the Kingdom of Jusral. She opens up a medicine shop there and finally strives to live a quiet life selling her medicinal potions...but her medicine is so effective that even the army and nobles come rushing in!
The third volume of the super popular series arrives! What sort of miracles will Kaoru the "friend of the Goddess" cause this time?
Three volumes in and this time the pace is a bit slower, but still as messy towards the end. I don't think I can really bring myself to like FUNA's type of heroines, but I guess I had a good chuckle or two at parts.
Potions is also suffering from character inflation, so I really can't quite remember who half these people are sometimes. This is compounded by the author's penchant to just introduce new characters when he needs to get a plot device going on so I can't really recommend this still.
It's a standard FUNA novel, It's enjoyable as a slice of life and good for a relaxing read. His novels have a formula to them and this follows it. If you've liked his other works or the previous two novels in this series you will like this, if you don't like slow paced slice of life without a real direction that just kind of goes with the flow and sometimes has sloppy resolutions then you probably wouldn't enjoy this. If you are just looking for a relaxing read that's slice of life with some comedy this is great.
Its a funny story just like the first two volumes. Kaoru is still trying to find a stable place to call home. Her cast of family is also as engaging as ever even if two of them don't get a lost cause.
Very enjoyable. I can't quite understand why this particular narrative style is so compelling, but it is. The story progresses at a fast and steady clip, and creates an interesting framework in which social and economic concepts are discussed.
I love how much Karou loves helping people without being selfish. She would rather flee after helping that leaving people to die. I honestly want to know why Roland and Fran just follow her? I also want to know about her friends.
A cute story about a girl who could rule the world, but instead tries her best to fit as a commoner. I enjoyed the first person insight and the fun adventures.
