Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.

Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

Ms. Hayes has written one doozy of a sexy story. Now I am a selkie lover, so she already had me at "hello." She provides a unique take on the folklore with a Canadian setting. Her two heroes are scrumptious and the love scenes are va-va-voom. I can't wait to read the next one.

I received this book from the author, Susan Hayes, as part of a promotional tour. I was asked for an honest review and so I shall deliver.

The Review

This is the first book I've ever read by Susan Hayes and I LOVED it!

When author Jessica Jones comes back to the ocean side cabin she spent her childhood vacations at, she was hoping to mend her broken heart from the death of her mother and find inspiration for the next book in her best selling series. What she didn't expect was to nearly drown and be saved by 2 handsome men on a boat and a seal? What she never dreamed of was she'd be attracted to her two sexy rescuers at the same time....and they her. She also never dreamed they'd be willing to share her...

“Is it common for seals to grab people and pull them around, too?” she asked.

“What? No. Seals don’t do that. They’re playful sometimes with divers, but they’re not aggressive.” Rory shook his head. “And I didn’t see a seal pulling you around.”

“Well, it did.” Jess folded her arms over her chest. “And that’s not the first time it’s happened, either.”

The two men looked at each other and then down at her with such intense expressions that Jess wondered if she’d said something wrong.

“What do you mean, it’s happened before?” Evan asked, his usually gentle voice rife with tension. “When? Where?”

“Here, when I was a little girl.”

“You’re from here?” Rory interjected.

“Well, no, but my cabin has been in the family a couple of generations. We used to come here for summer vacations when I was a girl. We stopped coming when I was six or seven. The last year we came was the year I saw the seals. I remember thinking they wanted to play with me. They were pulling on my life jacket like the seal today was doing. It’s strange that I didn't remember that until recently. I never remembered why we stopped coming out here. I guess my parents got a little freaked out. And here I am twenty-odd years later, and my first time in the water there’s another seal. Weird, huh?”

“I’d say so.” Evan grinned. “Maybe it’s your perfume?”

“Ha-ha.” She stuck out her tongue at him, only realizing her error when she saw the flare of lust in his blue eyes.

“If you stick that out at me again I’m going to put it to good use, sweetheart. As I see it, you still owe me a kiss. Right now Rory’s one up on me.”

Arousal collided with panic somewhere in the vicinity of Jess’s chest and suddenly it was very hard to breathe. She managed to choke a single word past the iron bands squeezing her lungs up through a throat gone completely dry in a matter of seconds. “What?”

Evan’s lower lip stuck out in an overly dramatic pout. “You've kissed him twice.”

“Please tell me you’re kidding.” Rory clapped a playful slap up the side of Evan’s head. “Don’t you even think of keeping score, Ev, or I swear I’ll dropkick you off the back of this boat the next time we’re out in deep water.”

Jess hugged her arms tighter across her chest, her gaze bouncing from one to the other and back again.

“So you two…” She trailed off and tried again. “I mean the three of us—hell, I have no idea what I’m even trying to say here!”

“I think that in this case, the word you’re looking for is yes.” Evan waggled his brows at her. “I’m sure hoping that’s what you’re going to say, anyway.”

“Oh, very smooth.” Rory leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to the corner of her mouth and she felt his tongue briefly dance over her skin. He kept his lips just brushing hers as he continued talking.

“Evan and I have been best friends since I was ten years old. He’s a part of my life, and I’m part of his. We share everything.”

“Everything…as in…everything?” Jess stressed the last word, her heart beating faster at the erotic images that invaded her mind as she considered just what Rory meant.

“Absolutely everything, baby.”

Damn, it must be awful to have two hotties wanting to share you.

As her way of saying thank you for saving her life and to hear their sharing proposition, she invites them both to dinner. Rory and Evan had some yummy ideas for dessert.

“Jess, come here.” Rory pointed to a spot directly in front of him and she froze, torn between some strange desire to obey him and her fear of what might happen if she did.

Evan reached past her and turned off the element and moved the saucepan away from the heat, completely ignoring her.

“I said, come here.” Rory’s gaze locked onto hers and Jess felt her pulse quicken as a shiver danced down her spine. She took a single step in his direction and was immediately rewarded with a faint smile that softened his fierce expression.

“I’m not going to hurt you, baby. I just want you to do as I say.”

“He’s bossy that way. You’ll get used to it,” Evan whispered behind her. He was close enough she could feel the warmth of his body, but he was not quite touching her.

Jess took the final three steps to the spot right in front of Rory, the bottle of whipped cream still in her hand. He took it from her and set it aside before cupping her chin in his hand and coaxing her head up so she was looking in his eyes.

“Dinner was amazing, and Evan and I are going to enjoy the pastries and the hot chocolate later, but for right now I know there’s only one thing I really want for dessert.”

The callused tip of Rory’s thumb traced the outline of her lips as he stared into her eyes. He wanted her, she could see it. His expression, the heat in his eyes, everything was sending her a very clear message. He wanted her.

Jess nodded, the barest tip of her head, but it was signal enough for Rory. His mouth was a searing brand as he claimed her, his fingers spearing into her hair as he drew her up onto her toes. A low growl rumbled up from the depths of his chest and Jess felt the vibration traveling from his body to hers. Jess reached up and wrapped her hands around the back of his neck. She was still standing on her tiptoes and their bodies were fused together from thigh to chest. Her heart was hammering against her ribs and her senses were scrambled. His tongue traced the seam of her lips and she parted them, inviting him into the warm depths of her mouth so she could savor his smoky taste again.

Evan came up behind her, his powerful body pressing up against hers, pushing her into Rory so that she was caught in a vise made of muscle and heat. Evan’s hands traced down the inside of her arms, stroking her through the silky fabric of her top and sending waves of goose bumps chasing along her skin. Evan slid his hands between her body and Rory’s, palming her breasts and squeezing them as he rocked the hard shaft of his cock against the small of her back. Each press of Evan’s body against her back arched Jess into Rory, and she could feel the long, thick evidence of Rory’s arousal pressing into her stomach.

Need sizzled through Jess and she moaned, the sensation of being sandwiched between two hot, hard bodies almost more than she could bear. When she moaned Rory took their kiss deeper, teasing and tasting every corner of her mouth as if he were a man savoring his last meal.

Evan nuzzled his face into her hair, his mouth sucking and nibbling at the soft skin of her neck. The sensory onslaught sent a flood of liquid flowing from Jess’s pussy and she shifted her body so that Rory’s thigh slid between hers. Mindless with need, she rubbed her aching clit against his leg, arching her hips in time to the slow, sensual thrusts of Evan’s hips against her back.

This time both men growled in stereo, and the deep vibration of their response was the most erotic thing Jess had ever experienced. When Evan’s fingers pinched her nipples, her knees turned to water and she would have fallen if not for the steady solid support of their bodies holding her up, keeping her trapped between them.

Rory sensed what had happened and lifted his head, breaking their kiss to smile down at her with heat sparkling in his deep-brown eyes.

“Even better than those lemon tarts, right, Evan?”

“Hell yes. No comparison.” Evan nipped her neck lightly and lifted his head as well. “She tastes as sweet as I remember.”

I'm not sure who is sexier. Rory with his alpha male arrogance or Evan the strong and sweet type. Actually, I don't care...that's like asking which of the chocolate halves of an Oreo cookie is the best...I'll take them both. Come here boys, let me be the cream in your man-wich. Feel free to double stuff me.

WHAT!!??? I was thinking ONLY of the cookie...

really....

ok...maybe.....

FINE I WASN'T!!! Can't blame a girl for fantasizing though. ;-)

I really enjoyed this book for a few reasons. One, the sex of course. It was smokin' hot. But it was more than that. I loved the fact Susan Hayes took a gorgeous, but slightly insecure woman and turned her into the seductress. The one with all the power. She was worshiped and doted on by two men, who not only desired her, but who seen her for who she truly is and forced her to see herself through their eyes. I also liked how she was "punished" for putting herself down. If I had that as my incentive I'd never put myself down...well..not much....ok I'd do it every chance I got if that was my reward....errr....punishment. :-D

I loved the sex, story and sentiment. Jessica found herself when she felt the most lost. She found love when she thought she was unloveable. She found confidence and sexuality in the midst of insecurities. So many ingredients for a tasty erotic book! That's why I gave it 5 Stars!

Selkies!! omg I so loved this book, I was already pretty partial to Susan Hayes from her Sci Fi series but wow, Riptide was so much fun to read.

Wonderful Characters with growing personalities, they all fit the story to a T, the magic history/detail the author used was intriguing as well as the lengths the mother went to do what she thought was right for her daughter.

Love the cover and the length was better than decent, the story was full of sass and passion, growing moments for each character and the hot scenes *fans face* Loved it.

Grab it, read it and enjoy!

So I'm a sucker for anything shifty. When I saw this book was about selkies I knew I had to read it. I've read about werewolves, bears, coyotes, leopards, even dragons, but never selkies. Plus, the premise of the book sounded promising. Basically what you've got is Jessica, an independent, successful female. She heads to her family's cabin, which she has not been to since she was a child, to grieve the loss of her mother and figure out what she wants to do with her life. Things don't go exactly as planned and soon she finds herself face to face with quite possibly the two sexiest guys alive – Rory and Evan.

Jessica is a fun lead character. I especially liked her because she was not some virginal priss who didn't know what was what in the bedroom. She knew what she wanted and she was not afraid to go after it. Of course she had reservations and hang-ups, and that is what made her character seem real. Rory and Evan…holy hotness. All I can say is where can I find a pair?

Worth mentioning is Jessica's fabulous best friend, Vivian, who we never actually get to meet during the course of the story, but we get a glimpse into her personality through Jessica's phone calls with her. And then of course Tucker and Byron, selkie bar owners extraordinaire. The reason I mention them is because they are full of incredibly sexy yumminess and the focus of book two in this series. I can't wait!

So along with the great characters, there was a lot of fun and teasing in the story, and some very hot and sexy scenes with Jessica, Rory, and Evan. I will say I knew very early on where the story was headed, but it didn't detract from the overall telling of the story, and it was a very enjoyable read.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Due to a letter from her dead mother, Jessica travels across the country to the wilds of the west coast in search for answers, but instead she finds two gorgeous men who want her in their lives and in their bed. Rory Frazier’s birthright is to lead their secret colony of selkies, but only if he and his blood brother, Evan Sinclair, can find their mate. While fate brought Jessica to them, uncovering the colony’s dark past may just send her running.

This thrilling series debut has strong, passionate characters that readers can easily relate to and easily captures their hearts with a heartfelt romance full of sizzling chemistry. The relationship is full of fiery sparks, scorching hot passion and lots of sweetness but it is also full of emotional turmoil due to secrets being revealed that impact their lives and of course Jessica having to come to terms with a triad relationship. Readers can’t help but sympathize with Jessica and encourage her to seize her future with both hands as they become caught up in their story.

The plot of the story is fast paced and full of suspense and excitement as the truth about Jessica’s past and with some stunning twists, the colony’s secrets comes to light as well as who and what Jessica really is. The author has created a wonderfully steamy and fascinating world about selkies with her own unique twist on the mythology that really changes things up, especially her take on their skins ensuring that readers can really sink their teeth into the excitement and passion, leaving reality behind.

Holy Hotness!!! If you are looking for a HOT read, this is it! This is her first time writing a Selkie Shapeshifter novel, but Susan Hayes does NOT disappoint. If I didn't have to deal with my day to day goings on, I would have finished it the same day I got it and started it. It also has a few soft spots, I wouldn't necessarily call it a tear jerker, but I was really feeling for Jess in some parts. She goes to the family's cabin for some time alone to grieve for her mother, and move forward with her life. Little does she know that going back to her old family vacation home, she would be brought into a whole different and exciting new world. I definitely recommend it.
Riptide was a great read!

Jessica's mother passes away rather unexpectedly and rather quickly a few months back. Jessica's mother never spoke about her family but there was a reason...
In the final will that was left for Jessica, she was told to take a break and go back to the family's cabin that she hasn't been to in over 20 years.
Jessica goes and discovers more than one thing about her mother and her family.
Jessica finds love in the strangest of ways with two studs. But who are these man and will they help her?

Solid four and half stars and it was a great smoking read...

Just another seal shifter… wait, nope, never read one of those before. Thank God, originality here we come! In every way this book was breath of fresh air to a jaded book reader such as myself. From the relationship to the shifters involved, even the plot kept me on my toes with all the emotion and the anticipation as to where the book was headed. It was fast paced but the length and the fact that we were reading a shifter book balance everything out nicely.

Very poor quality, specifically in the character and plot. I had a very hard time getting even as far as I did, and I couldn't finish it.

The internalised misogyny of the main character put me off from the start, masked under the guise of overcoming body issues. The topic was handled poorly in the narrative, and very unconvincingly. I was also very unimpressed by the implication that women who are nearly comatose enjoy being felt up by complete strangers.

Selkies has always been a secret fantasy of mine, and Susan Hayes definitely did them justice. I loved the universe she built for them to exist in. I loved the romance storyline and the characters that were created. Excellent pacing. I will read more of Kismet Cove because I loved every page I read. And I now have a foot fetish!!!!

I actually really enjoyed this book. The only thing that I did not like was that the relationship seemed to happen really quickly. Since, the book is about selkies I was able to over look the fast pace. however, If you enjoy paranormal ménage you will love this book.

Riptide is the first book in the Kismet Cove series. Jessica’s mother just died and she has now inherited a cabin by the sea. Fascinated by the waves, she’s sucked into a riptide that takes her far away from shore. She’s surprised when a seal saves her life, and even more shocked to find herself wanting two men. Rory and Evan saved Jess, but while they’re willing to share everything with her, they’re hiding a big secret. Will Jess accept all aspects of their life and solve some mysteries from her own past?

This book is full of myth, passion, acceptance, and love! It’s fast paced, and I was flipping pages to find out what happens next between Jess, Rory, and Evan! I loved this book! Jess has some insecurities, but I loved that she was willing to open her heart to two guys. She was a little sassy at times, but was more than strong enough to stand against and for two men. Rory and Evan were pretty amazing because where one had a temper like the waves of the sea, the other could hold steady like the rocks near the shore. I loved their dynamic, I loved their connection, and just about swooned with the way they felt and acted towards Jess. The three of them definitely hit a few bumpy stages in their relationship, but I loved that they constantly put each other first. They all brought out the goodness and light in each other, as well as all of the passion, phew! I also love how the myths that Jess was raised on played into the romance and story as well! This book kept my interest, had the perfect combination of building a relationship, steamy scenes, and drama, and I am so excited for the next book in this series!

OMG one of the best susan hayes books I have ever read and I love all of her books.

I love kismet cove and the entire selkie story line. I love how Jess's mom sent her back to her roots and family home so she could find her true heritage that she was unable to share with her while alive giving her the chance to find her true nature and happiness.

I love how each person is the triad relationship bumbled along not knowing how to interact with each other, but learning and growing and making it work. The excitement, angst, fear of their dark side, understanding, etc really made this story come together to the happy ever after ending.

I love how Jess left the family home when the info got spilled that she was also a selkie and how she went to the bar and stood up to Renee the cold hearted bitch Darius had picked out for his son. The spirit and strength of character she showed made her rock.

great story idea, great character and place descriptions, the entire story coming together the way it did made me feel an entire range of emotions which is the most important aspect of a book.

highly recommend reading this book.

Read this book if you are not interested in well-developed characters or a substantial plot/story line. Read this book if you are only interested is lots and lots and lots of sex scenes. I am by no means a prude, or dislike sex scenes in a book. But, they need to compliment the story, not take it over. I was 70% into the book before anything of substance happened, before any questions were answered... and then it was over. It was the best 10% of the book. Then we went right back to sex scene after sex scene. There was so much the author could have done to grab and hold the reader for the next books in the series, but she didn't. She glossed over the entire selkie colony, Jess's transformation as selkie, Jess's extended family, etc. It was like halfway through the author remembered she was supposed to be writing a book about selkies instead of Penthouse Letters and then forgot until the last chapter. The premise was so promising. Unfortunately, at least for me, it was just disappointing.

Riptide introduces us to Jessica who inherits the house she used to summer in as a child. It had been twelve years since she was last there after what she felt was a dream about seals and almost drowning.

Once there, she meets Rory and Evan by chance. Jessica was out late one night and swept up in a tide. Rory and Evan were making it back to town on their boat when they saw Jessica and watched her get taken under. After not seeing her resurface, they rescue her the only way they know how, by becoming Seals. Again, Jessica thinks this is just a dream as the guys deny it.

But this is the way of Kismet Cove. There are prominent families that can change into seals and have a M/F/M relationship. But those who know the secret cannot tell outsiders, so Rory and Evan keep Jessica in the dark.

Until they can't. They know she's their mate and even if it means Rory has to give up his claim as leader of their colony. But Jessica's mom has a secret of her own. One that will change how everything can play out.

This is a stand-alone book in a series.

I love it. Jess goes back to the cabin she stayed as a kid given to her by her father after her mom died. She has a box with a book about selkies, a couple of animal pelts inside & letter from her mom. It's odd, how it tells her to go spend the winter at the cabin. Her friend Vivian tells her to go, she'll come visit. She is out exploring & gets hit by a wave. She is caught in a riptide & being swept out to sea. Rory & Evan are out on their boat grumbling about what Darius, Rory's dad had tried to do. He tried to make them mate that cold hearted witch Renee. He is stuck on old traditions about blood lines & things like that. They aren't marrying her! About that time they see Jess standing on a rock looking around & see her get hit by a wave, & washed out to sea. Rory strips & jumps in, Evan turns the boat to go farther toward her Rory transforms & swims over to her. Jess sees a seal grab her jacket & pulls her toward a boat Evan cuts the engine so they don't get hurt. she tries to swim to the boat Evan pulls her aboard. Rory swims to the other side. Evan takes her below to get her out of the cold & Rory climbs aboard. They both sense it right away. This is the one they have been waiting for. Evan gets her undressed out of her wet clothes & tries to warm her up, it isn't working so he gets undressed & climbs in with her. The body heat with the blankets gets her warmed up fast & puts her to sleep. Rory docks the boat, she wakes up a little confused. They get her calmed down & explain what happened & they take her to their house to feed her & let her rest. She invites them over for a thank you dinner the next night. She calls Vivian to tell her she has 2 hot guys that want to date her & they share everything, she doesn't know what to do. Vivian tells her to go for it. She makes them the dinner, & they get her into a start of a trio tryout so to speak. As time goes on Evan is starting to believe that she is like them or has selkie blood in her somehow. They are sure she is a true mate. They need tell her what is going on before they claim her. Since they are blood brothers they can speak telepathically, when she bonds with them she will too. They tell her they want her as their life partner & give her a necklace that is kind of like an engagement ring. Now they need to take her to Rory's parent's house & tell them. When his dad finds out they have chosen a human for a mate, he is probably going to lose it. They fight all the time. When they go up to the door & his mother opens it, she calls Jess by her mom's name & wonders where she has been. Jess wants to know what is going on, why does this woman know her mom? Evan finds out he was right. Jess is one of them, & one of the oldest bloodlines. Jess, too confused right now, runs off into a different room, & into Rory's other dad Torin. He sees she is upset & can hear Rory & his dad yelling at each other. He takes her to the bar to get a drink & help her calm down. He finds out she knew nothing about her heritage or her mother's. She just knew things got bad between her mom & grandpa & she left home. He answers what questions he can. Her guys get there a little while later, after Renee, the gal Darius tried to stick them with tried to pick a fight with her. She told her to take a hike & the bartender threw her out. They take her bake to her place to get her sobered up, she had 3 shots of tequila & hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. When they are talking about things she remembers the box her mom gave her, with the book & pelts. She runs to get it. They are looking at it when a not falls out of the box she hadn't noticed before. It tells her to find her friend Amelia Frasier, Rory's mom, she would help her understand everything. She shouldn't go to her family before that because her grandfather might try to take over her life. That's why she ran, he tried to force her to marry some men she didn't want. She already loved her dad. She ran to him & begged him to take her away. Later that night while she was dreaming she remembered something from when she was little. The last summer they came here, she was about 6, some seals were out in the water she thought they wanted to play with her. They got a hold of her life jacket & pulled her out to deeper waters & kept pushing her under. She screamed for her mom, & she came to get her. Her dreamself looked down & saw flippers & claws. They never came back. She sat up & told the guys her family tried to drown her. She told them what happened as she remembered it. They figured it was her grandfather & uncle trying to make her shift to prove who she was. Plus she didn't have to worry about him, he was dead. It was decided they were going to take her out to show her how to shift tomorrow. Out in the middle of no where, no one will see them, they take her pelt with them to help her. She sees Rory strip & dive in. Evan tells her to just imagine herself a seal. It isn't working. She strips & is shivering is the cold, he tells her she has already done this once it will all come back to her. He picks her up & throws her in. She looks down & sees fur! She starts swimming around playing with them. She gets tired & they go back to the ship. being a seal she is connected to them telepathically as well. as they are getting back on board she nips Evan to get back at him for throwing her into the cold water. What she doesn't know is that is part of the bonding ceremony that is supposed to be for the big celebration the mom's are planning. Evan bites her back joining his blood with hers & Rory cuts his hand to add his blood to join them together. Now that they are bonded she is telepathically connected to them. She tells them they can fake it for the party. When the time comes Vivian is her maid of honor so to speak & has her rings for the guys. She can't tell her everything because it is against selkie law. Later she spreads her mom's ashes out over Kismet Bay like she was asked. She tells Vivian to stay at the Cabin as long as she likes. It's a great story!

A flawed hot book

This book could have been a 4 or even a 5 star if not basic mistakes in the writing. One time the friend Viv mentions something she has yet to be told about and could not know about. The other time the two make characters talk about an item of jewellery but without us the reader knowing of this jewellery, a basic writing mistake that a proper edit would have fixed. Also the characters keep using different terms and words for the same thing, often in the same page or paragraph.

Having said that, the story is ok. If it does follow the overused, and to my mind cop-out, idea of the true mate. Why can't shifter romance writers not come up with a better idea than this. The characters are reasonably written, the secret in the story is well handled if easy to figure out, and the sex scenes are well written. As I said if the mistakes had been fixed then the rating would have been higher.

This is the first book in the Kismet series and it is full of myth and mystery as it draws you in and keeps you engaged until the very last page

Jessica recently lost her mother and has inherited a cabin on the wild west coast of Ireland from her she heads there to get over her loss and do some writing because she is a fairly well established writer who uses a pseudonym. Even if you're not ready, open your heart and mind to new adventures! Jessica is following a letter by her deceased Mothe, to a beach inheritance into the unknown in search of answers. Rory is Selkie leader. Evan, his blood brother searching for a mate to share. While at the beach, Jess gets drawn out to sea by a riptide. Luckily, rory and Evan save her. She slowly begins a journey where she recalls incidents from her childhood which answers some questions and opens doors to others. This is a delightful story of self discovery, expanding the mind and being willing to be open to the unfamiliar and unbelievable. Nice story. Wonderful characters. Good theme. You end up rooting for this thruple to find a good way to happy. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

This is the first book in this series and it did not disappoint. The story was well written, full of love, family, secrets, romance, amazing chemistry and steamy hot scenes. This is a must read. Jessica is moving back to her childhood vacation home. The loss of her mother is hard and her father is off with his new family. She is draw to this place and the water just like when she was young. There she meets Rory and Evan to who rescued her they are all drawn to one another. When Jessica finds out the truth about her family and her hertiage will she run away or into the arms of her fate mates Rory and Evan. I look forward to the next adventure to Kismet Cove.

I loved this story it has myth, legend and plenty of steam. Since I first read a Susan Hayes book a few months ago I have been devouring her book most of which are fantastic. This is no exception when Jessicas mother dies she goes to her cabin by the sea. When she is rescued from the ocean by Rory and Evan there attraction is immediate. The males are Selkies a race Jessica's mother always read to her about and have polymorphous relationships. Jessica begins to find her life is not as it seems. Can Rory and Evan help her to accept not only herself but the new love that grows between them? This is such an interesting read it was hard to put down as the three new lovers begin to discover the secrets of the past.

Rory, Jess & Evan

Jesus's mum passed away but leaves Jess the old family wooden cabin Jess remembers from her childhood. When Jess arrives at the cabin it's not as she remembers it at all her father has had it modernised even if he hadn't been spending time there himself. Jess is an author of thrillers so it's perfect place for her to get away to get over her writers block. And boy does she get over it, and under and on top of "it". With the help of two stud muffins😜 I don't want to give to much away. But if you like a good paranormal hot n steamy sexy romance certainly give this a go

I really enjoyed it. I loved the sassy, sexiness of the characters and the link between them💗🌼

Interesting take on shapeshifters

This book was mostly about a curvy author who does not know she’s a selkie until her mother passes and she returns to her mother’s home of origin. Upon arriving she meets two strangers who save her from drowning. They are selkie as well. This book was less story and more of an erotic romance. Good if you want something to occupy your thoughts and some excitement for you and your spouse. But if you’re looking for a romance you won’t find it here as it was lust upon lust. Everything happen so fast no matter how magical it is to be perceived that it does not constitute love even in a fictional story. A lot of repetition and I never really got a sense of each of them as individuals. Worth a read if you like erotic romances.
