Some of the poems in this collection are too abstract for my taste. However, taste being in some ways a subjective thing I can attest that least one third of the poems in this anthology are remarkable and I revisit those ear marked as favourites again and again. This is worth owning for poetry fans who favor experimental writing.

Interesting anthology, with great entries from Michael Lally and Eileen Myles, but should be more eclectic than it was

Might change your mind about poetry, assuming your put off by the lifeless singsong that passes for poetry these days.
