These two authors specialise in short and sweet.

Kier’s life is simple living in the highlands alone he has never needed the trappings of city life but that was before he suddenly has a baby handed to him after losing his sister. Knowing he needs help he employs a nanny and when Elsie lands on his doorstep he finds himself wanting not just a nanny but a family of his own. Will this American beauty want to stay in the Scottish highlands with him or will she leave at the end of her contract?

Elsie and her friends signed up for a summer of working as nanny’s and she couldn’t wait to spend the summer in the Scottish highlands although things aren’t going as she planned. The airline lost her luggage and she has lost her shoe on climb to her destination but once the door opens she is totally thrown by the highlander stood holding the baby. She never thought that when she signed up that she would fall in love with Kier and his nephew but will he ask her to stay or will he want her to go at the end of her contract?

This book was insta everything with a little steam thrown in, safe to read with a really cute epilogue, highly recommended read and a wicked start to their new series.

Short and sweet

This was a short and sweet story. Completely safe

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-not very steamy
-epilogue just ok. Another epilogue available through bookfunnel. This brought my rating down. I don’t want to jump through hoops to get my epilogue. I prefer it in the book

Good

I really enjoyed this story! This was a really sweet and sexy read! Keir was a hunk of a guy and endearing because he was so clueless around Elsie. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding and these two danced around each other not really knowing how to act upon everything they were feeling. I don’t know if I could live in a place so cut off from the world but is sure does sound beautiful!

Kier es un hombre solitario y trabajador en medio de las montañas. El solo quiere cuidar su granja y sus ovejas... Pero de repente servicios sociales aparece y le dicen que ahora tendrá que cuidar el bebé de su hermana. Él es consciente de que no puede con todo así que contrata una niñera. Pero ella se convertirá en algo más que quiere cuidar aunque no deba.

El libro está...bien pero no sé al mismo tiempo me ha parecido soso. A ver qué con 50 páginas que tiene tampoco se le puede pedir hacer magia pero me esperaba más. La sinopsis tenía buena pinta. Por lo demás ha sido dulce, dulce muy dulce porque los dos son vírgenes adorables 😍 y la historia nos da dos buenos epílogos, que eso nunca debe faltar.

Vale para pasar el rato pero tampoco os esperéis una maravilla eh!

La verdad es que no entiendo la razón del título, porque el libro tiene un par de escenas traviesas, pero es más una historia tierna y romántica que erótica.

"Y usted advierte a los otros hombres que mantengan la distancia".

AMÉ ESE DIÁLOGO. Un escocés hablando así... no hay que decir más.
Me gustó también que él es virgen con 24 años. No suele haber protagonistas masculinos vírgenes, y menos a esa edad, así que punto a la autora por eso. Ella también lo es

Y bueno, el epílogo no me gustó tanto porque llegó demasiado rápido, pero fue una historia cute.

Kier is in no way prepared to be a guardian to his newly discovered baby niece. Thank God the agency arranged for a nanny. He didn't expect the nanny to be so beautiful, though, and his body really isn't prepared for the affect she has on him. Best to just tend to his sheep and avoid her as much as he can. Sounds reasonable. Sure...



For such a short novella, Naughty Scot really felt longer than it actually is. It's fun, sexy, and both Kier and Elsie are well-rounded, rather than the cardboard cutouts that happen so often in novellas and short stories. If you feel like reading something sweet (super sweet), seriously steamy, with two great characters, I highly recommend you give this naughty Scot and his sweet lady a try!

Naughty Scot is book one in the Love without limits series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining.
When Kier is handed his late sisters baby, he is unsure on how he can handle everything. When he hires a nanny, the last thing he expects is to fall for her.
Elsie finds herself in Scotland after she and her friends decided to join a three-month nanny programme. Scotland is certainly a big change from her home of Seattle.
What Elsie doesn’t expect is to be instantly attracted to her boss. She doesn’t even have a lot of information due to Kier holding back but she wants him.
The chemistry between Kier and Elsie is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Lovely short read by C. M. Seabrook and Frankie Love. It seems like the collaboration between these two authors is always a sign of hot romance. Good characters who fell in love at first sight. No drama just pure romance in a well written novella.
The lovely epilogues warmed my heart.

60 pages? My download was 41 with approximately 35 of those being the story which I rather liked as you don't waste much time on an okay read. It was a bit cute, a bit corny and thought the 'Scots speak' was well done. Naughty? Perhaps my copy was missing the naughty pages.

I fell in love with this blurb. Scottish men, a baby surprise, and a nanny? Seemed like the perfect trifecta. Sadly, it didn't live up to my hopes. It had so much potential but felt rushed and forced in parts. If it had been more detailed this would have definitely ranked higher.

I loved this story from first page to the last. It is fun, romantic, a bit steamy, charming alpha and independent woman. I like their chemistry and how they interact. I like the twists and turns that are thrown at the reader right from the first paragraf. A story that caught me from start to finish and enjoyed reading it very much. A novella that has it all.

This was a fast read. The Hero and heroine were likeable characters, but there weren't any distinguishing traits mentioned by the authors for me to believe these two fell in love so quickly. On the surface, she was probably the only woman he's seen in a long while because he lives like a recluse since his farm is in a pretty rural area. She admitted wanting to live out one of her romance novel fantasies of finding a Scottish highlander to sweep her off her feet. There's no mention of how she adjusts to moving from a highly urban area like Seattle where she has used UberEats to an isolated farm with no phone or internet service. Her nanny contract is only for 3 months, which also doesn't make sense because the baby will not even be a year old if she decides to leave. This story was way too short since there wasn't even time to create any real conflict between the two, nor did either of them carry any character flaws. And the title? Not sure where he learned his "naughty" moves. This book was too light on content and was a miss for me.

Elsie comes to Scotland to be a nanny and thought it would be a little like a romance novel. However she quickly learned reality was definitely more eye opening. She arrives at her post without her luggage and coverage in a mixture of mud and animal waste. Kier never thought his life would include a family at this time in his life but when his nephew was dropped in his lap he knew that he would do whatever it took to make a life for them. When he opened the front door and found his new nanny about to burst into tears his set about fixing matters and got her into a shower to get cleaned up while he found her some clothes to wear. Once that crisis was adverted they could talk about what he needed of her for his nephew. Elsie tried to be more than just a nanny for them but she wasn't much of a cook and almost burned the house down so Kier told her looking after that baby was enough. Sparks flew between them whenever they were together. Kier wanted his new nanny but wasn't sure if she felt the same. Then one day they come together but the baby interrupts them and then they have to talk about what they almost did. Its then that they learn that they are both virgins and have been waiting for the right person to be with. Could they have found that person in each other?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is sensually sweet. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

*Bowing down to the great minds of Frankie Love and C.M Seabrook, I charge my kindle at your feet* Ladies you are so amazing together and I am so pleased with this new series.

You know those books that keep you up at night? You know what I am talking about ladies *Wink wink* Well this is one of them. Although this story is short, it is a great book that kicks off the series so well, when reading you just want the next page more and more.

The new series kicks off with a trip to Scotland and our very own highlander. Kier is a highland Scotsman, tasked with taking care of his recently passed sisters child. The big brooding man knows nothing of taking care of a baby and does the one thing he can think of.

Hiring a nanny.

Elsie, a young woman from America entered the highlands with fantasies of her very own highlander, like the ones she sees on the covers of books. She has no idea what awaits her, after a disastrous set of events getting to the house, Elsie is thrown when she is insistently attracted to her new boss.

Fantastic plot, super engaging and sweet. It was the perfect story to end my night.

It was the perfect reading that I needed at the time. The characters share great chemistry and that is shown in every single chapter.
Now I can't wait to start book 2.

These two authors are new to me, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I found was a delightful short story that I really enjoyed, and that they meshed perfectly together. And that title, Naughty Scot, yeah, it was perfect, because, I mean, who wouldn't want to read a story about a Naughty Scot?! Then you add in the cover?! Yeah, sign me up! Keir is a simple Scotsman with a sheep farm, when his world is thrown into chaos because a baby is dropped off, who ended up being his nephew. So he needed a nanny immediately. This is where Elsie comes in, his new nanny, and boy do they have some serious sparks, but they won't act on them for professional reasons. However, chemistry like theirs won't be denied, so after some frustrating push & pull, they light up the beautiful Highland skies to get rid of their v-cards. Yep, you heard me right, they're both virgins. So how does it all pan out? Well, you'll have to one click on that sexy cover to find out! And I can't wait to meet the next nanny in this new series! Oh my!
The vivid images of one adorably clueless Highlander (Kier) kilted and set in his innocent ways- but underneath the layers of solitude and Scottish heritage lies a deliciously dirty Scotsman just waiting for the right Lass to come out and play. ( phew- some hand me a fan please! )
Maybe that women will be Elsie! The Nanny, having a baby dropped into his lap, Keir knows he cannot do this on his own, going through a Nanny Agency, he hopes to find some relief with the crying bundle of guilt and pain he holds.
Elsie takes to the role of Nanny quickly; what shocks him more is how she swiftly steals his heart as well!
Is this the real deal?
Fast, furious and all that I could have hoped for, this sexy beast of a tale, was a hot and breezy afternoon getaway that I thoroughly enjoyed!
I am already looking forward to more yummy, fun books from this duo!

I love these two authors I have read a few of their books before and I enjoyed them and this book Naughty Scot is no exception. Kier answers a knock on his door and instead of being Gregor it’s a woman holding a baby in her arms, it’s a woman from social services and it’s about his sister Mollie she died giving birth to the baby so the baby was hers. Kier keeps the baby he’s family after all but he has to tend to the sheep everyday it’s hard work on the farm and Kier enjoys every bit of it but now he needs someone to look after the wee bairn so now he has moved to the main house and waiting for the nanny to arrive and she is two days late. The nanny turns up but she’s muddy and she smells like sheep dung her luggage was lost and she had to walk 4 miles to get to the house and now Elise is stuck there for 3 months with a gorgeous Scottish mountain man and with no phone and internet coverage how will she cope?. Fantastic story I love the Scottish brogue my favourite kind of accent and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Naughty Scot is a quick, short read filled with laughs, insta-love, sexy Highlanders, and steam. I would definitely recommend getting Naughty Scot by C.M. Seabrook and Frankie Love.

Could have been much better.

While there were things that made this a stand out, the f-words, the graphic almost intercourse scene and vulgar slang used repeatedly for a woman's genitals degraded the good.

Having both main characters be virgins for the same reason was something worthy. Both wanted their first sexual partner to be their last, as in marriage.

The four friends made a pact to remain virgins until the found the "one". When so many authors write about it being unrealistic for people to abstain until in a committed relationship they demean their characters and their readers. It is realistic and it is possible, even in the current climate.

Towards the end the writing became a bit sappy and cliche. After rolling my eyes, I read on. While there is an event at the end that isn't complete, it isn't really a cliffhanger. Whether the next book will be on my TBR pile I can't say.

I really enjoyed this heartwarming nanny romance!

Kier is completely out of his element when a social worker drops his brand-new nephew on his doorstep, so he calls a nanny agency, who sends Elsie, an American looking for a little adventure with a brief commitment.

There's a little bit of everything in this rollicking Highland romance: a mud-spattered meet-cute, feuding sheep ranchers, dual virgins, an adorable baby, and enough heat to warm the entire cottage on the coldest Scottish night. While the attraction was certainly instant, I appreciated that the authors gave us a bit of a slow burn for the romance, waiting for the emotional depth to catch up to their explosive chemistry.

It's a terrific little story, and an excellent start to a new series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
