Delicious

This is the first book I have read by this author. But it definitely will not be the last! I loved the main characters and their interactions with each other. Hopefully I can find the books about their friends and their romances.

Good story.

I really enjoyed this story. I think the four friends are truly like sisters. I loved Tyler. Tyler was a true alpha male. I am ready for the next book.

A slow burn, holding your breath romance!!!

The first half of this book had me so engrossed I reached for my coffee cup and it was empty. This story is a slow, smoldering, instant attraction where you can't turn the page quick enough to read on.

Tyler is a self-made billionaire. He's worked hard for what he's earned and is quite used to having things the way he wants them. And then a woman walks into his hotel, one who has him completely mesmerized. He's used to attraction, that's one thing, but this woman can reach into his soul with one look.

Vivien is a romance author and loves to travel for inspiration when she's not staying at her beach-front cottage. She's a strong, independent, successful writer. But when her eyes meet his from across the room, she cannot think straight. In fact, she could not even eat her dinner. There was something about the way he looked at her that left her star-struck and wanting more.

I was completely engaged with this story. The passion kept building and building between Tyler and Vivien, both slightly holding back for different reasons. There were a few surprises along the way that test. . . or trip-up the relationship, but I was rooting for them from the start. Great story!!

Man with Money reminds me of an old-school romance novel with a modern spin. Tyler and Vivien are two old souls that come together from two very different worlds. Tyler is a billionaire who knows exactly what he wants and who he wants. In order to see that he gets it, he’s willing to do just about anything, and he makes no secret about his intentions. Vivien is a romance author who is independent and feisty when she needs to be. Even though she isn’t used to being placed on a high pedestal, and it’s sometimes difficult to accept, she appreciates the lengths Tyler is willing to go for her. And that’s exactly what he does… right up until the very end.

The author sets up situations with her characters to hint at future books, so I’m excited to see how those characters interweave in her upcoming books.

What an awesome and steamy adventure Man with Money takes us on. I instantly fell in love with the characters. Vivien is quirky and sweet. Tyler's confidence makes him incredibly sexy. Their chemistry is off the charts. I loved this book and I can't wait to read more from Debra Falasco!

This book started off with some appealing qualities: the main characters being an author, her initially coming off as a strong, independent woman, and of course, a strong alpha male character to sweep her off her feet.

Things started off well enough.

Until this book began to embody that age old theme of an possessive, stalker, and sociopathic man who is romanticized simply because he has money and good looks. Because I promise you, if this guy was average, old, or weird, half the invasive shit he does throughout this book would not be okay.

Imagine you saw this guy looking at you a few tables away in a restaurant....



Yeah, no amount of money or charm is convincing me to go out on a date with that guy. And Tyler really takes things to that creep level. But it's made to be okay because he's attractive, obviously rich, and charming. He already knows what room Vivian is staying in, he knows when she's scheduled for dinner that night, he immediately wants her to move her stuff in his room and gets super possessive after only knowing this chick a day and blames it on his "protective instincts".

I promise you, no man is like this. Not really. If he is, he's pretending to be to get in your pants or he's a sociopath and you should run far away.

Vivian makes a few half hearted efforts to put Tyler in his place on a few occasions. But this is quickly overshadowed by easy submission to all things Tyler. And her being just as bad by falling for this guy in less than a week.

Add the cheesy writing, the predictable story, and the piss poor romance and this novel easily became one of the worst I've read this year. There were so many red flags with Tyler's personality that a psychologist would have a fucking field day diagnosing this guy.

And Vivian falling for his stupid "alpha male" shit just made her look stupid and gullible in the end. I quickly and easily lost all respect for her.




Honey, if you think that's what real alpha males are like, then you're sadly mistaken. The jealousy, the possessiveness, the creepy stalker behavior, the posturing, and the falling in love after a week shit are things that boys pretending to be alpha's do. Especially in the face of an independent woman. I could rant about this for days, but suffice to say that this book was garbage to me. Everything from it's characters, to the story, and the writing, On top of already spoiling things for the next book if I even wanted to chance reading it. But no thanks. I don't think this authors books are for me. 1 star.

The plot was not quite believable: do authors fly to unfamiliar cities and live in a hotel to get inspirations? Wouldn't you take a car to drive around for ideas of houses, landscapes, or atmosphere?
If all of my possessions and memories were in a house threatened by a hurricane and a man told me he had resources I would take advantage and have it all put in safe storage. Lamenting later just for the plotline is not appealing to me.

Not sure if I’m experiencing some reading fatigue but in all fairness the premise is hitting all my requirements and should have been an enjoyable read but it was boring and couldn’t get into it. Just totally skimmed because I couldn’t care less
