This nicely weird romantic horror thriller continues with more of Kamishiro's powers revealed on returning to school, with Hanazono, who appears to have forgotten the traumatic events of the previous volume; meanwhile it appears another virus carrier has murderous intent! The motion and horror art is mostly indecipherable to me, and the overall story is mildly interesting. 4 out of 12. Two Star read.

Well it didn’t turn out to be as weird as I thought it might. It is a bit gory for a romance comic, but the title is clear enough about the dark tones.

It really seems like the comic used the high concept approach to sell the story, but now it is following the “characters are learning the ropes of their relationship . . . and an occasional battle happens so we can learn more about the paranormal phenomena that drives the story” formula.

I’m going to keep going. I think I got 7 volumes in the humble bundle, so I’ll go until I get bored and then try something else.

These humble bundles for comics are generally awesome. $20 lands you hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of comics. You can’t go wrong.

This volume was very average.

It started off with such an interesting premise but in this volume, it felt very typical and formulaic. Infection is starting to spread, the mysterious stranger who seemingly has a clue of what is happening and of course, everything going wrong at the school festival.

Besides the story itself, I do enjoy the characters and the art. That alone will keep me waiting to get my hands on the next volume.

Rispetto al precedente volume è migliorato molto! Abbiamo finalmente iniziato a vedere qualcosa di più sull'intera vicenda concentrandosi non solo sul protagonista idiota e la sua cotta condita da mille paranoie mentali ma anche su altri personaggi secondari, scoprendo dettagli importanti sul "virus" che ha colpito Taku e altri esseri umani. Un volume che mi ha lasciato piacevolmente sorpresa e che ha aumentato la mia voglia di continuare la lettura della serie

All of these disturbing crimes have involved youth and children. Clearly, they've been influenced by violent manga and anime...

Volume 2 starts right where Volume 1 left off, but now we have the added annoyance complication of discovering that our main female protagonist has elective amnesia, so she just straight-up won't remember anything. On the plus side, we're now pretty sure it's a foreigner who works in the cafeteria that started this whole thing.

Might continue. Might not. The whole series is on Kindle Unlimited.

This one is starting a lot of genre mixing and it's just getting too weird for me. Now we're seeing the affected display forms of super powers and the sickness is spreading. Then someone finally shows up who appears to know what's going on.

I liked the original premise but it's getting away from that. I do like the art but I don't like the way the story's going.

The infection seems to be spreading. The story gives me Okitenemuru (maybe add some Tokyo Ghoul) vibes which may not be good thing, in that there's probably some big wacky conspiracy. Might continue if I see the series doesn't try to add more characters. On hold for now.

Unique and bloody

Love this manga. A high school boy struggles with fighting his urges to kills his childhood friend/ classmate crush in the most gruesome ways. Looks like atp, the whole school is infected with bloodlust.

I liked this better than the first volume. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed...yet...but there is potential. It's an interesting premise but it could also fall into a very repetitive pattern very quickly. I'm willing to give it a chance and we will see how it goes.

This series quickly devolved into a platform for over the top superhuman combat. In the right setting I might have bought into this approach, but this didn’t really work for me. The darker, more grounded tone of the first volume felt more promising.

They managed to hold on to the momentum from the first volume no problem. They are building an interesting story to accompany the horror aspects happening. I'm very curious where they're going to go from here. So far the series has been binge-worthy.
