Meet Captain Teggs Stegosaur and the crew of the amazing spaceship DSS Sauropod as the ASTROSAURS fight evil across the galaxy!
Tegg's new mission is to save a carnivore king from deadly space mumps. If the king can't be cured, his evil nephew will start a terrible war! The astrosaurs race to the rescue with a special doctor - but are soon trapped in a palace of peril. With enemies all around and a mad meat-chomping monster on the loose, can Teggs escape the heart-stopping horror of the Carnivore Curse?
Steve Cole is the slightly crazy, highly frantic, millions-selling, non-stop author of Astrosaurs, Cows In Action, Astrosaurs Academy, The Slime Squad, Z. Rex and many other books (including several original Doctor Who stories).
He used to edit magazines and books but prefers the job of a writer where you can wear pyjamas and eat chocolate all day.
Steve just can't stop writing - if he does, strange robots appear and jostle him vigorously until he starts again.
In his spare time he loves making music, reading old comics, thinking up ideas for new books and slumping in front of a warm TV.
A bunch of space-travelling dinosaurs descended from those who left the Earth before the meteor struck, feature in this adventure. The herbivores are deep in carnivore space with a cure for the carnivore king's illness. But their peaceful errand is in danger... obviously...
Quite a lot of names and species to get to grips with in a short few pages, so probably not ideal for the youngest readers. We get plenty of illustrations of the exciting adventure. One dino is a girl but the rest all seem to be boys, including all the commanding roles. Have fun.
This book is about space and the dinosaur thats why they are called Astro+ Saurs. I liked it because Tegg was very brave and smart .It tried to save Carnivore King Jeck ,the elder ruler of Baryonyx.
Teggs is no ordinary dinosaur - he's an Astrosaurs! Captain of the amazing space ship DSS Sauropod, he goes on dangerous missions and fights evil - along with his faithful crew, Gipsy, Arx and Iggy!
