When Dylan Alexander’s friend asks him to the Easter fair, he’s reluctant to go seeing as Easter brings back bad memories for him. But he’s sure this year will be different, so he accepts the invitation.
Beckham Adams is downright upset when he loses a bet with his best friend and has to dress up as the Easter bunny all day at the fair.
When a chance meeting brings them together, will they both find somebunny to love?
Aww. A fun light Easter themed romance between Dylan and Beckham. The friendship elements in this book are lovely as is the dating and emotion vunerabilty between these heroes.
So of the real life details of the work that they do are less filled in but the dialogue and love story is really light, sweet and yet emotive enough to feel real.
Good stuff! Finally a shorter story that feels complete.
The unusual and odd premise for a story could have been better if there was some conflict in the plot. This was so boring I believe I nodded off a few times. The characters were underdeveloped and saddled with whiny personalities. Dylan's grief over his mother's death, while understandable, bordered on fixation. Beckham wearing the bunny suit and consoling Dylan felt creepy. (Seriously, you're sweating like a hog under the costume and while taking a break you don't take off the bunny head? I know the mystery of the "masked man" was the main plot point, but you're gonna die from heat stroke under that thing!) The formal meeting of Dylan and Beckham moved terribly fast into a relationship. They meet one day and the next they're talking about "being the one" for each other. This story could have remained a charming, sweet, boy-meets-boy tale but was tarnished with unnecessary and abrupt sex scenes toward the final chapters. For what? All romance stories do not have to have explicit sex in them to make them enjoyable. The writing wasn't bad but it needed to be edited better. There was a lot of unneeded "noise" and not enough story.
I absolutely adored this short and sweet story. Beckham and Gus make a bet which Beckham loses. He has to wear an Easter Bunny suit at an Easter festival. Dylan is attending the festival with his best friend and her son. Easter is a difficult time for Dylan. Beckham lends a kind ear. The festival ends and neither has the other's information. Dylan reaches out, they meet and begin a relationship. They've both been hurt by previous partners, leading to some insecurities on both sides. Eventually, they reach their HEA.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was such a great holiday read. Plus it was the sweetest romance between two guys who really needed somebody, or shall I say some bunny, to love. Now I want Gus to find his Daddy and Abi to find someone who will love both her and Mason. And I always want more Dylan and Beckham. www.reviewsforthosewholoveagoodbook.w...
This short story is super sweet and super cute! Very insta-love, but funny and unusual-themed. Bekham and Dylan are both lovely main characters and the side characters (both men’s best friends Gus and Abigail) are just as good. If you’re in the mood for a short, funny, zero angst lighthearted story, this is the book for you!
I love well written and fun to read novellas! So much is packed into this holiday read! Dylan and Beckham are sexy and sweet, and the storyline is heartwarming with all the feels. Author Claire Castle has a wonderful habit of creating characters who are so easy to fall in love with and these two are no exception. Throw in the magic of Easter and you wind up with an egg-cellent read!!
Talk about a meet cute! This is a sweet little holiday novella about two guys...one who associates the time of year with a tragic event in his life until he meets the Easter Bunny under a tree at the town Easter fair and lets it all out. I love how the guys in question manage to find each other again and get together even though they're both busy running their own businesses. A cute little basket of Easter love. Highly recommended for all sappy romantics out there.
