On a sunny winter afternoon in West Hollywood, California, a seven-year-old girl gets into a car with a stranger.
Two hours later a single mother receives a call telling her not to go to the police.
On the other side of the country, Miranda and Parker are sparring in the gym—until a colleague tells them her sister’s daughter is missing and begs them to help.
A kidnapping? A missing little girl?
Of course they have to help. With thoughts of the desperate search for her own daughter, Miranda boards the next plane to LA, along with Parker and the team.
But when they arrive in tinsel town, the clues are sparse. Locating the little girl seems hopeless, and soon they find themselves at the kidnapper’s mercy.

Can't say more than I have been saying. The is an extremely great series . Each book in the series gets better. The suspense and thrills are fantastic. I highly recommend this series. If you love mystery and thrills you will love this series.
This series of Miranda and Parker is great! Lots of action and emotions. It gets a bit tedious in detail but doesn't distract from the story line. How can you not feel emotion when a child is involved.
I can not get enough of this series.I feel I know each person personally.Miranda, fighting for justice and her daughters love,Parker-smart,determination,and deeply in love with Miranda, then you have Holloway,Becker and Wesson.Wow,Just wow
These cases seem to be bringing Miranda and Parker closer to death. And this time the whole Parker Team were almost obliterated. The storyline and characters keep getting better and better.
On a sunny afternoon in California, Detective Wesson’s 7 year old niece is taken by a man . Her sister calls Detective Wesson and she asks Miranda and Parker to get involved. Like all stories in the series, the plots are complexed and totally involving. Each book is so different but so well written you never tire of the series. This is another quick read.... don’t plan on doing anything until the book is finished.
More harbingers of mayhem manifest themselves as Parker & Steele search for a seven-year-old girl inexplicably kidnapped from the owner of a beauty salon - whose sister just happens to be a Parker & Steele operative.
This is the story of a young girl who was kidnapped in front of her school and the people who get to look for her before it is too late. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Another great Miranda/Parker case. Loved having the whole team together again as well. The Miranda and Parker books are always quick and enjoyable reads. Cannot wait for the next one.
These stories have to be the best I have ever read.I have stopped reading other stories,I could read nothing but these.I wish there were a 100 more like these.
I've read all of the books in this series. "The Stolen Girl" is the 12th; and with each book, I grow more fond of Miranda and Parker and all the members of the team. I can't wait to see who needs their help next and what danger the new investigation brings. I invite everyone who enjoys mysteries to join there journey.
Engaging story with lots of questions why. A setup from the beginning that keeps getting more confusing. This is one of the best Miranda and Parker stories by far. Hope this series keeps going for a .one time.
