Rate this book
Betrayed by his brother and fiancé, crown prince Valentin vowed never to open his heart again. Unfortunately, his mother the Queen has other plans. Valentin has always honored his duty to the crown. And he’ll do so again—by enduring the matchmaker his mother hires.

Matchmaker Crystal Ramos is instantly, insanely attracted to the reluctant prince. Thanks to the media storm, everyone in the kingdom knows that Valentin got his heart broken by his backstabbing brother. She’s sure she can provide him a second chance at love, even if he does stipulate she only has four dates to do it. She just has to keep her feelings to herself.

As Crystal navigates the world of power and betrayal, she discovers the chivalrous man behind the crown—and falls for him. But the royal intrigue becomes too much when she becomes a pawn in the match between Valentin and his brother. Can her heart survive being the royal matchmaker?

Lacy Williams wishes her writing career was more like what you see on Hallmark movies: dreamy brainstorming from a French chateau or a few minutes at the computer in a million-dollar New York City penthouse. In reality, she’s up before the sun, putting words on the page before her kids wake up for the day. Those early-morning and late-night writing sessions add up, and Lacy has published fifty books in almost a decade, first with a big five publisher and then as an indie author. When she needs to refill the well, you can find Lacy birdwatching, gardening, biking with the kiddos, or walking the dog. Cute, quick-read

More a draft of a story, than an actual story, it moved along a little too quick to be believable.
But, it was cute, if quick. Right up to the Epilogue. Which I assume, in retrospect, is to introduce the next book. But, at the time I finished the book, it just left me scratching my head.
All-in-all, I gave it 3 stars, average. Not great, not terrible, just average.

The Prince’s Matchmaker

The Crown Prince needed to get over his brother running off with his fiancé. The Queen has hired a matchmaker to get him back to dating. What happens when the Prince falls for the matchmaker? This book was a cute quick read but could have benefited from another round of editing.

A fairytale love story

I’m not sure that this is could be a Cowboy Fairytale. Not a Cowboy in sight. There was instead a prince and a matchmaker trying to find a suitable date for the Prince which was to lead to marriage. As expected the two were attracted to each other. Very predictable.

Oops!

The Epilogue of this book leaves the reader without the tidy wrap-up today's romance readers have come to expect. Rather it is actually a preview of the next book in the series. I seriously hope this was an error that will be corrected, because IMHO it was a very cheap trick unworthy of Lacy Williams.

Lovely story

I loved this bok! My only complaint is that it's too short. Everything happens so quickly! Wish it had been longer! Great readm

Fun

This was a great twist to the matchmaking scenario. The Prince with a painful past. A professional woman with a heart of gold..

Great book

Just a sweet romance with a royal twist. It's a great sequel to her earlier books in the series. Now it's the children of the princesses.

A good story

The story is short and the epilogue introduces the next princess. The queen's son had a broken engagement and now should be looking for a spouse, according to his mom. He's not interested.
