Texas Baby Pursuit was one of those stories that just breaks your heart. It starts out with the hero's daughter calling him that someone kidnapped the baby and you could just feel the shock and emotion in that call. As the story continued, you find out that there is a whole lot more to the story than just the kidnapping and there were several twists.

I didn't care for the romance that much. Mainly because it just felt a bit too rushed at times and I just didn't love it. The ending was intense and I liked how everything got wrapped up nicely.

All in all, Texas Baby Pursuit was a good read and I liked it.

Two crimes that I think are scary and devastating are kidnapping & baby smuggling. This book deals with both of those. The people left behind to deal with the aftermath of those two crimes lay heavy on the law enforcement people who are trying desperately to solve the crimes as quickly as possible. In Texas Baby Pursuit, the crimes happen not only to two families but these families ARE the law enforcement people who are trying to solve the crimes so it's a double whammy! They know what can happen to these babies and how fast they can disappear! There is no ransom so finding them and finding the network & bringing all these people down is top priority. This author does a great job of showing the desperate search for those involved and the personal agony of the families involved. Dallas is a Texas Ranger and it's his sister's baby who is taken first. Rachel is the local sheriff and her baby is taken last. In between, their lives are in danger all the time. This book is "on the edge of your seat" action all the time and is written so well! The characters are great, especially Dallas' young, anguished teenaged daughter. Everything was so realistic! I would definitely recommend this book. It was awesome!
I was given this book complimentary by the author but a review was not expected. This review & my opinions are my own.

Every parent's worst nightmare is to have their child stolen.

Young Michelle was gutted when her baby nephew was kidnapped while she was babysitting him. Luckily, she was able to phone her father (a Texas Ranger) telling him the baby was being taken just before she was knocked out. As the local Sheriff and Texas Ranger investigated, they learned there had been a lot more babies stollen across the country.

As these two worked together their admiration and respect grew. And even though neither wanted a romantic relationship ever again, they were very attracted to each other. But they wouldn't act on it while on the case.

I did suspect a few people as the ones behind the kidnappings, but I didn't guess who it was. The ending was so good. I was filled with tension and anxious to find out if they would find the babies before they were sold.

If you enjoy suspense with a bit of romance, you'll like Texas Baby Pursuit.

Margaret Daley writes about a tough, hard, scary subject... and wrote it well. Rachel and Dallas are thrown together to fight this battle of a baby abduction. And, not just any abduction, but Dallas' nephew, whom his daughter was babysitting at the time. Then when the case becomes even more real for Rachel, the page-turner kicks into high gear. The story of the pursuit, the heart of both officers, the precious children involved... all round out a very good story. I highly recommend "Texas Baby Pursuit" if you are looking for edge-of-your-seat, relevant to today, sweet suspenseful romance.

Texas Baby Pursuit was full of action and intrigue! A good addition to the Lone Star Justice books, this story can easily beread as a stand alone novel, as well.

The author really kept me guessing all the way till the end of the story about who exactly was behind the various baby abductions. It constantly felt like one step forward and two steps back.

The romance that developed between the two main characters was very nicely done. They each had reasons to be hesitant about a romantic relationship developing, yet their similarities and experiences helped solidify the feelings between them. It flowed nicely with the story. I recommend this for fans of romantic suspense.

A story that will rip you heart out, and it does happen, my mind doesn’t even want to go there, but this read was a page-turner from beginning to end, and you can’t wait to find out what happens.
Babies being kidnapped, but why, because someone wanted a child, or worse selling them? What the author gives us is mind chilling, and we are constantly waiting for the next move, and heaven forbid another baby goes missing.
You soon begin to care about the characters here, but are they going to all survive? Will this team be able to bring back the loved ones? Answers are here, and we do get an outcome, but will it be what we want it to be?
This is the third book in this series, but it can stand alone, a don’t miss read.

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.

This is book four in the Lone Star Justice series, however I feel it is a stand alone book. I have not read all the books in this series and had no problem keeping up.

Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders is looking forward to some R&R with his daughter, however when his nephew is kidnaped and his daughter may be in danger he must do all he can to find the kidnappers before it is to late.

Rachel Young is the beautiful new sheriff in town. When this kidnapping takes place she is hoping she is prepared for all that is coming. She must rely on the handsome ranger to help her solve this mystery.

Dallas and Rachel work well together, I love the sparks that fly between the two of them.

This novel is full of suspense, mystery, romance and more. I look forward to reading more from this author.

"Texas Baby Pursuit" is a Christian romantic suspense. It is the fourth in a series, but it reads like a stand alone. The hero and heroine were both law enforcement officers, and they worked together to question people and track down clues. They were competent at their jobs. The suspense came from the need to rescue the babies before they were sold off and from several attacks on the heroine.

The hero and heroine supported and respected each other and built each other up. Each had a bad relationship in the past that left them questioning their judgment when picking a romantic partner, but they talked this out together and worked through the issues that held them back. They were attracted to the other's character and personality, not only their looks. I appreciate authors who show this kind of relationship.

The Christian theme was the heroine feeling like God had let her down and questioning why a good God would allow evil to occur. There was no bad language or sex. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting novel.

This one tugged at my heart. Dallas' nephew is kidnapped while his daughter is babysitting. Though he isn't on duty, he is going to help with the investigation. Rachel is the new sheriff and is having to deal with a heckler in the form of her former opponent.
There was plenty of action throughout the book. It focused on a tough subject, human trafficking and I think the author did a wonderful job with it. The relationship between Rachel and her parents was great and I adored watching them interact not only with their granddaughter but with Dallas' daughter as well. The relationship and how it progressed between Dallas and Rachel was good to watch and realistic.
It was a 4/5 for me. I truly enjoyed it.

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy of this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.

When Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders' panicked daughter calls and the call suddenly drops, he rushes to find her. She's babysitting his infant nephew, Brady. Arriving at the house, he discovers his daughter has been knocked out and the baby is gone. His first priority is to get his daughter some medical attention. His second is to find his nephew. As he begins to investigate, he discovers the chilling truth that Brady isn't the first baby to disappear in this way. Could there be a kidnapping ring operating in his territory?

Sheriff Rachel Young is newly-elected to her post and has something to prove to her opponents. She also has an infant daughter to protect. When a baby is kidnapped in her county, she takes it personally. All of the clues point to a kidnapping ring. When a second baby goes missing, she is increasingly focused on stopping them. With her dad, the former sheriff, protecting her daughter, she feels safe leaving her, but what happens when the kidnappers find a way to get to her? Can she continue to close in on the kidnappers when her daughter's life is threatened?

As Dallas and Rachel race to find the kidnappers and protect those they love most, they find their hearts becoming ever more entwined. Could someone on the inside at her department be working against them or is there a Ranger who is on the kidnappers' payroll? Someone is feeding them info because they seem to know every move Dallas and Rachel will make before they make it. Will they be able to find out who it is, and stop them, before Rachel's daughter and Dallas's nephew disappear forever?

This book is why I like to read Harlequin Love Inspired Suspense! They have some of the best authors in the business writing for them, and Margaret Daley is right up there near the top. The suspense thread in this book is intense, and while there is romance here, it never takes the focus from the baby-napping storyline. I give this one the full five star treatment!

Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders has just wrapped up a long, intense case and is looking forward to family time with his daughter, Michelle at his ranch. While introducing himself to the new sheriff in the town of Cimarron Trails, Rachel Young, he receives a panic phone call from his teenage daughter who is babysitting her infant cousin at her aunt and uncle's ranch. Upon answering his phone Dallas hears his daughter's voice. "Help! They're taking Brady!" The phone drops just as Michelle cries out. Dallas and Rachel speed off to investigate and find the baby missing and Michelle on the floor bleeding profusely from a head wound. Thus begins a thrilling story about a baby kidnapping and smuggling ring.

Texas Baby Pursuit is Margaret Daley's fourth book in her Lone Star Justice series. This book can easily be read as a stand-alone though. The author does an outstanding job here in introducing a strong, but also caring heroine in Sheriff Rachel Young and a dedicated, dertermined hero in Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders. Margaret Daley skillfully develops their characters and their developing relationship. She also has treated her readers to some very interesting secondary characters. I enjoyed meeting them.

Margaret Daley's skill at writing action-packed, thrilling suspense is what attracted me to this story. I knew from reading other stories by this author that I would be well entertained reading this book. I highly recommend this book!

Lenora’s brother Dallas is a Texas Ranger and has. A personal interest in finding his nephew and the kidnappers who injured his daughter when Brady was taken. Will he find the kidnappers in time?

I cannot think of many things in fiction or real life that makes my blood run colder than the kidnapping of a baby. Several things come to mind that I have to struggle to clear my head of regarding people who commit such horrible deeds. We live in a sinful world and such things really do happen. This story involves the kidnapping of the baby nephew of a Texas Ranger and the baby daughter of a sheriff. The only good thing I can think to say is that the criminals were stupid in their selection of targets. The Ranger and the sheriff had a lot of resources at their disposal that most people, who are basically at the mercy of the criminals and the wheels of justice, lack. But even with their skills and know-how, they had to stay within the law. I enjoyed the suspense and the action. The hero and heroine were fortunate to have supportive families. Although the heroine had struggled with her faith, deep down she knew where to turn when the chips were down. The hero had gone through some rocky times but his faith was stronger and he encouraged the faith of the heroine. Was romance beginning to bud between the two? I have to leave that for the reader to find out. I received a copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Texas Baby Pursuit. This is the fourth book in the Lone Star Justice Series. I don't have to tell you how awesome Margaret's books are. She is one of my favorites. This book is well written, fast paced, and action packed. Faith is also woven into the story like a fine tapestry. You will also find it heartwarming and inspirational.

Texas Ranger Dallas Sanders finds his baby nephew has been kidnapped. He must find out where he is and who stole him. His only hope is to team up with the local sheriff. What they find is a baby trafficking ring working right there in their region.

Sheriff Rachel Young is a single mother of a beautiful baby girl. She can't imagine having her child stolen so she sets out to help the ranger find his nephew. As they discover the wide range of the trafficking she fears for her own child. They must find these monsters.

A journey to find the baby, the abductors, and all the other children that have been taken. They find they must trust each other and trust God to show them the way. God has a plan for these two law officers, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

Texas Baby Pursuit ( Lone Star Justice )
By: Margaret Daley
Texas Baby Pursuit is a book in the Lone Star Justice Series. Even though it is in a series you can read it as a stand-a-lone without any problems. Texas Baby Pursuit is a Love Inspired Suspense, mystery, and romance that will have you on the edge of your seat trying to read faster to see what is going to happen next. The author grabs you at the start and I could not put it down. This is a fast paced story filled with action, kidnapping, and baby trafficking. There were times I had tears in my eyes, and I caught myself holding my breath. Texas Ranger Dallas and Sheriff Rachel is working as hard as they can to solve this case. Can they solve it in time to save the babies? They both have had bad relationships in the past. Can they get over their past and try again?

When Ranger Dallas Sanders finds out that his baby nephew was kidnapped with the help of local Sheriff Rachel Young they find ties to a child trafficking ring. As they get deeper into the case things heat up for not only the two but for the traffickers trying to take them down and off the case.

If you ask me I think the bit were it mentions in the description about Rachel's daughter being abducted is a spoiler because that doesn't even happen tell the readers are well over 75% into the book. Anyways this was a pretty great book this was book as full of mystery and suspense. It was fast paced and had plenty to keep the readers hooked. I enjoyed seeing the two work together on the case. Also I liked how although there is a minor romance going on it didn't over power the mission they were on. There really wasn't time to be playing around while the child could be getting farther and farther way from their reach. Overall this was a pretty great book. I really enjoyed it.

Fantastic

This is one of my favorite authors, her books never disappoints me. If you love Texas Rangers you will love this story. Dallas gets a frantic call from his daughter for help, someone has injured his daughter and kidnapped his nephew. Oh it's own now, you don't mess with a Ranger's family. With the help of the new sheriff, Rachel they began an investigation. Dallas has been hurt by his ex-wife up and leaving him, without a backwards look at their daughter. Rachel's husband was not interested in being a father. So they both had been hurt by people they knew. This book has murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and no regard for human life. Being the grandmother of two young children, I often worry about the trafficking of children and young women. There is so much evil in the world, but I serve a God that is greater than anything man can do. 😇

This novel was full of action, especially for the young female sheriff, Rachel. She managed to survive several attacks on her life with the help of the Texas Ranger hero. The two work together to try to find the kidnappers who were stealing children so they could sell them. As they investigate, they run into some surprises and tragedies. The subject of this book, abduction of children, was timely with the increased activity in many areas of the country where children are the victims of evil people. I didn't think the love story was very believable--taking place in a matter of days--but the "happily ever after" romance seems to be the norm for the Love Inspired series. I did enjoy the book,

“On a kidnapper’s trail….Lone Star Justice never fails.” So true in this fourth in the Lone Star series showcasing the bravery of the Texas Rangers. Ranger Dallas Sanders has the heartbreaking job of finding his baby nephew, Brady, after he is kidnapped. Things just got personal on two levels after his thirteen-year-old daughter, Michelle, is also attacked during the kidnapping. As Dallas works tirelessly with new Sheriff Rachel Young, clues point to a child trafficking ring. Then the next dreadful thing happens, Rachel’s infant daughter, Katie, is kidnapped. Rachel is threatened by the kidnapper if she continues the investigation. Will Dallas and Rachel be able to solve the kidnappings before it’s too late? As they spend time together, will they become involved on more than a professional level? Author Margaret Daley writes suspense with a touch of romance that keeps you anxiously turning pages.

Texas Baby Pursuit is the fourth book from Margaret Daley's Lone Star Justice series. I enjoyed this story and had it read in a few hours. Dallas and Rachel had great chemistry together that made me want to keep reading to find out what would happen next. I could not imagine her turmoil when her own daughter becomes among the kidnapped children. I was on the edge of my seat until the end.
I give Texas Baby Pursuit five plus stars.

It was a suspenseful read for sure as the lives of babies are at stake. There is a baby smuggling ring in town, Rachel and Dallas 2 law enforcement agents thrown together to try and find these missing babies.

Just when you think everyone you loved are protected and can be trusted....boom! Loved ones are either injured or missing. The stakes grow higher and higher with each passing hour. The romance part is a tad rushed, the case is the primary focus here.

Definitely a quick read, leaves you at the edge of your seat. Will there be a happy ending for the families?

Scary and action-packed entry in the Lone Star Justice series. This one involves a kidnap ring taking babies and this puts Ranger Dallas and Sheriff Rachel in the middle of the plot. Searching for the kidnappers puts them both in danger. Finding members of the kidnap crew dead makes the stakes even higher.

Action-packed

Well well-written, action-packed story with an inner tender heart. I have read several books by Ms. Daley and trust that I won't be disappointed in the story. This one was difficult to read at times because of babies being involved. The underlying faith of the characters helped remind me of the grace of God and His love towards His children.
