About the author

Recently named a New York Times Bestselling Author, Matthew J. Gilbert has written several licensed books for some of the world’s biggest franchises, including Stranger Things, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Mucho mejor que "Cómo sobrevivir en el mundo de Stranger Things".
Hay información nueva, el formato del libro es atractivo y cuidado, presentan individualmente a los personajes y de una u otra forma algunos se nota que dejan su huella, por ejemplo con las "firmas" que dejan en el anuario.

Definitivamente recomendado para los fanáticos de la serie, sin duda es una excelente adquisición para su colección, o si son lectores, tienen su propia biblioteca (grande o pequeña) es un integrante atractivo para sus libreros, el cual se puede consultar como entretenimiento de vez en cuando.

Okay now this Stranger Things related book was more my jam (unlike that Barb book business) I have one word on this one



It was formatted so cute, I loved that you got both Nancy and Mike's yearbooks. It was super fun seeing everything that everybody wrote in the yearbooks, especially anything Steve wrote, obviously.
He's so fab.






I probs need to buy this immediately cuz I am a huge nerd and obvs can't live without it.

Si son fans de la serie, si la han visto varias veces y si se sienten identificados con los personajes o tienen alguno o algunos personajes favoritos entre los estudiantes, seguro que este anuario los emocionará.

Dividido en dos (secundaria al frente y preparatoria el reverso) Contiene diversos datos como la clase favorita del personaje, actividades, pasatiempos, anhelos para el futuro, gustos actuales… todos relacionados con las temporadas transmitidas de Stranger Things (principalmente de la primera y la segunda), así como pequeños datos extra de las temporadas.

El Anuario como tal, viene firmado con diferentes notas de varios personajes, no solo de los principales. Todas estas notas están personalizadas con diferentes tipografías para poder diferenciarlos.

Por otro lado tiene algunos detalles impresos, como el envejecimiento de las hojas y anuncios, las hojas de personaje de rol de los chicos, los horarios escolares, el menú del almuerzo, notas, anuncios de los comercios de Hawkins, fotografías directas de escenas de la serie, las canciones, películas, programas favoritos de la época… en fin, todos son pequeños detalles que le dan su toque curioso y nostálgico.

Conclusión
Si son grandes fans y sienten curiosidad por algunos datos extra de los personajes principales de la serie (y de otros estudiantes), este libro les interesa. Probablemente habrá a quienes los ataque la nostalgia y quieran volver a ver toda la serie.

El día de hoy vamos a hablar de un libro 2x1, es decir: un libro doble. ¿Y cuáles son esos? Son los que la primera mitad del libro te muestran una historia y luego lo giras (o le das la vuelta) y viene otra historia que lo complementa.

Aquí lo que descubriremos es un poco más del universo de Stranger Things (ajam, sí, el de la serie de televisión que ha vuelto locos a montonal de fans por el mundo). Si su sed por saber más de los personajes no había quedado saciada con la serie y los libros que han ido saliendo en las últimas semanas (y que Océano distribuye), ahora llega este hermoso libro doble con una doble ración de información extra.

Por un lado tenemos el anuario de la secundaria Hawkins y, por el otro, el anuario de la preparatoria. Aquí se centran en los años 1984-1985 y sí, cuando decimos anuario, eso es tal cual lo que significa: al abrir sus páginas encontrarás fotografías (muchas de ellas tomadas de la serie y otras inéditas), tanto de los personajes como de diversos momentos que vivimos con ellos en la segunda temporada. Acompañando a estas fotografías hallaremos notas y comentarios hechos por los mismísimos personajes: ¡sí!, así como cuando tú rayabas los anuarios de tus amigos en la escuela, así está este libro: con notas, chistes, dibujos, cosas tachadas, firmas y demás. Les digo: está hermoso.

Yo no soy fan de hueso colorado de la serie, pero les puedo decir que disfruté muchísimo este pequeño porque tiene...

My birthday present to myself this year! It was a lot of fun - nothing too groundbreaking, but well done in terms of detail and the yearbook formatting and a really cool idea to have the opposite sides be Nancy and Mike's. Some neat BTS photos I don't think I've seen before, good eighties selections in the favorite songs and movies/tv sections, and some good memories of the earlier seasons of the show. Hoping for maybe an updated version now that the series is over, but really good in any case!

This book is an unofficial tie-in to the series. It’s set as a normal yearbook, what that school year looks like to everyone who wasn’t involved in the Upside Down business.
There are two yearbooks, the ‘Hawkins Middle School Yearbook’ which belongs to Mike Wheeler, and the ‘Hawkins High School Yearbook’ which is Nancy’s.

Hawkins Yearbooks:
The Hawkins Middle book features yearbook pages with facts about Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max & more. There are messages from everyone scribbled into the book and a few pages about 80s music and films, which really shows that it’s set in the 80s.

Meanwhile the Hawkins High book has pages about Nancy, Steve, Jonathon & more. It also includes a memorial page for Barb and again, a list of most popular 80s things.
