This collection of Captain Underpants TV comics features some of the Waistband Warrior's stretchiest and most exciting bad-guy battles!
George Beard and Harold Hutchins are back with original new comic adventures starring the world-famous Waistband Warrior, Captain Underpants!
This second collection features even more of George and Harold's hilarious comix from the first three seasons of the TV show -- nearly 200 pages of comics total! Each epic adventure features a brand-new villain from the hit Netflix TV series.
Meredith Rusu lives in New Jersey with her husband and two young sons. She is the author of more than one hundred children’s books, notably There’s a Yeti in my Tummy (the first picture book in the Mighty Moods series), Anna, Elsa, and the Enchanting Holiday, Silenzio, Bruno!, and The DATA Set series under the name Ada Hopper. She has also written for many popular licenses including LEGO, Disney/Pixar, Peppa Pig, and Star Wars. When she isn’t writing, Meredith enjoys singing karaoke, spending time with family, and going on the occasional adventure or two.
I already enjoyed The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants on Netflix, but in every comic book segment, the narrator speeds up telling the story, and I can't really understand what he's saying! Good thing there's George and Harold's Epic Comix Collection, which I have to know about the plot! Thank goodness there's another volume of this book, containing some comics that George and Harold made in the show - a few of them are from Seasons 1 and 2, and all of Season 3!
I didn't find this collection nearly as clever and funny as the first comic collection, but it was still enjoyable. The bite-sized comics are perfect for a quick read with kids.
