Go Garrett! WooHoo!

I absolutely love this book! This new series features couples that experience a second chance at love, or for some, love a little bit later in life than most. Either way, it’s a different spin on hot romance!

Garrett has served his time with the teams and is now settling down to a quieter life until his buddy, Silas calls and now, his life will never be the same. Garrett has the normal age related problems with his body and his attitude toward life and women which makes his story more relatable. Mimi is the young daughter of Garrett’s best friend who died in his arms while on a mission. Mimi has never forgotten Garrett’s warm comfort during that life-changing time for both of them.

This story revs up quickly and sucks you in from the very beginning and stays constant throughout. It definitely doesn’t disappoint in action and adventure. I love the descriptions of the other team members all of which have a heinz variety of skill sets. This story is also very heartwarming when dealing with the young females involved and carries that feel good factor as well. Oh, and don’t forget, this story has a whole lot of hotness to satisfy voracious readers.

I am thrilled for these talented, fantastic authors coming together writing this new series. It is exciting and unique which sets it apart from all the others.

A wonderful start to a new series featuring more mature characters, yeah! Retired SEAL Garrett Tierney has been asked to return to command a team for an exceedingly secret and urgent mission. The president’s teenage daughter is missing. Years earlier, Garrett had lost his best friend during a mission and had to deliver the news to his friend’s teenage daughter. He has never gotten over Connor’s death. Garrett has picked the members of Bone Frog Command, except for the teacher of the missing daughter, Mrs. Mimi Wagner. It is felt that the teacher knew the teen probably better than her own parents and her help would be beneficial. Mimi is shocked when she is chosen to be part of the team and finding out that Garrett Tierney is in command will bring her back in touch with the man who was her father’s best friend. Ms. Hamilton has made this one of the best beginnings to a series. The story line ratchets up the tension as the group has to rely on intel that may not be verified and secure and characters that will do everything, against all odds, to accomplish the safe return of the daughter. This is one exciting, romantic suspense from beginning to end. Loved it, especially the characters who are older and have “seen it all”. I look forward to the rest of the Silver SEALs series! Another great book by this Author, how can one not love them, she weaves an intriguing story and her characters are so cool.
Former SEAL Commander Garrett Tierney has been drafted for one more mission, this one to defend and rescue the Daughter of the President. He is also asked to work with a civilian, a young woman who is the daughter of his best friend who died in his arms.
As their attraction grows so does the danger to everyone. To find out more about this sotry you have to read it to thoroughly enjoy it.

Book one in this series starts with a bang and is another winner by this talented author.
The government has just formed a new group made up of former military men, for situations that need immediate action without the red tape. The leader of the group, Lt Commander Silas Branson, whom we met in the prequel SEAL Strong , a book I highly recommend, reaches out to retired SEAL Commander Garrett Tierney when the daughter of the POTUS goes missing.
Garrett quickly forms a group of retired military men for his Team, and the girl’s teacher has been sent to help with the rescue. When Mimi Wagner sees Garrett, she is shocked to see the man who was her Navy SEAL father’s best friend and the one that held him in his final hours.
Needless to say, the attraction is there, but besides Garrett’s misgivings about the age difference, they have hurdles to overcome in the attempt to rescue the girl in a cult camp.
The story is filled with non-stop action, suspense, bad guys, hunky good guys, romance and a strong female character in Mimi. In the end, will they get the girl in time, and will Garrett and Mimi make a go on their romance, or will they each go their separate ways?
Looking forward to more stories by this author and in the series that promises many more great books.

Hmmm, I picked this up on a whim from a facebook ad - the cover and the blurb sucked me in. But the story didn't really live up to either. There was a lot more suspense aspect than romance, and I never really believed the main character's relationship. There was nothing to show why they felt love about the other, it was all tell.

There was also a lot of timeline and storyline errors and inconsistencies, not to mention editing issues. For example, the main characters, when they are about to infiltrate the villain's compound to rescue Georgette, they have to hike/climb several miles to the compound. They also don't have cell phone service while at the compound. However, Georgette gets in touch with Mimi to ask for help because she bought a burner phone after walking to the store???!! There were also quite a few miss-spelled words, incorrect words, and even one of the characters names spelt differently. And just to top it off, the h and H's first sexual encounter was eye-rolling - in the middle of the rescue op, while there is a listening device in the room so everyone heard it.

Overall it felt like there was too much that was crammed into the book, and it wasn't long enough to hold all that together in a coherent way.

I was glad to see a more mature hero for a change. I truly did not get the sense that Mimi was much younger than him. Mimi carried herself with such a level of maturity, the age difference was not that apparent. Garrett was the one drawing attention to the difference.

There was plenty of action, but I was disappointed that almost the entire explanation for the mission was summed up in two pages. I would have liked more detail. For example, who was Mallory? How did Bridgette meet her? Why was she there? I wasn't sure if I missed some of the answers to questions I had, but when I went back to re-read, they were not there.

This was a romantic suspense that was heavier on the suspense and lighter in the romance. It was full of action. I liked Garrett and the guys in the team. I liked Mimi too. There was also a HEA. I wish there had been an epilogue. The ending made me feel like I was seeing the culmination of a romance that never fully developed.

Well, what a well thought out character in Garrett, he's older and very wise. He's called upon to set up a team to find the president's missing daughter. He can make his own team up but for one person that was placed on his team and he 's not happy about it. Little does he know (and he doesn't recognize her), it's his dead best friend's daughter! Well now that is a real twist for sure. Ms. Hamilton takes us on a wonderful journey with Mimi's character and she shows deep down who she is and it's a surprise for Garrett for sure. There is action, suspense, and there's a very steamy scene in a cabin, where others are listening. This is a great new series (Silver Seals) and Ms. Hamilton has made an absolutely wonderful first chapter in the new series. I highly recommend this book.

This is a tale of intrigue, suspense and drama, with some edge of your seat action and steamy passion. The characters are well-developed and very appealing. The storyline is fast-paced and engaging, keeping you reading from start to finish. I recommend this very enjoyable and gripping romantic suspense.

This is the first book in a new series called Silver SEALS. Sharon Hamilton is the perfect author to write the first installment as she is the Queen of Navy SEAL novels! I buy her books without reading the blurb as she is that good!

Navy SEALs cannot operated inside USA shores so when the President's daughter disappeared who better to call then retired SEALs! They have all the abilities as active SEALs but with some career ending injuries. Garret Tierney is perfect to lead this team as the future of this experiment and the life of the President's daughter hangs in the balance. Garret is not happy when a civilian is added to his team. Mimi is the President's daughter's teacher who knows her better than her parents. Mimi is also the daughter of Garret's deceased best friend.

Good story, not quite 5⭐

I loved the blurb, and the model on the cover is hot as hell, so it didn't take a lot of convincing to pre-order this book. Not to mention, I'm definitly a Sharon Hamilton fan.
I loved the heat between Mimi and Garrett, and their connection played out well. The suspense/action arc kept things going at a pretty steady clip, and made for a page turner.
The reason for four stars instead of five is primarily due to the missed editing/proofreading opportunities. There was also a point in the story where I was like, "really?!". I'm pretty sure having sex in the middle of an op isn't great SOP. Then again, I don't read romance because it's realistic.
All-in-all, this is a good read, and I wasn't disappointed. I'll definitly be checking out the other books in the series.

Lila is working to make her service business a success independent of her wealthy family. She is in Costa Rica to convince a chef to leave his restaurant and work for a rich couple. She witnesses his murder and is not believed by the police when they can’t find a body. Travis is there to recuperate from a knee injury that ended his Seal career. He is discontent and is attempting to figure out what to do next when Lila runs into him hysterical. There is criminal activity going on with some corrupt police officers so they can’t be trusted to help investigate. This is his forte and proceeds much to her dismay being excluded from his search for information. The book was entertaining and a bit far fetched with fictional licence but still an enjoyable light read.

Garrett has retried from the Seals. Connor, his best friend died in his arms and he had to move on. While planting his vegetables and taking care of his chickens, he gets a phone call from his old Commander. They need him to stop a cult leader who had taken the presidents daughter.

Mimi is a teacher who gets dragged into the op not knowing she is about to see Garrett again. As the mission gets going so does the chemistry between the two. Can they save the daughter of the president before it is too late?

The characters were fun to read about. Garrett the strong, stubborn man and Mimi, who doesn’t back down, is just as stubborn. They work well together. The story was great and drew me in. While the writing was good there were some editing and proofreading that was sorely missed. Names that were wrong at times and other errors. Overall it is an enjoyable read.

This series really started off good, with Silas and Maggie. Now we have Garrett and Mimi, and it's wonderful! Silas taps Garrett as the first leader for his new project and Garrett agrees, even though he's nervous that's it's too soon for him to be back in the thick of things. Then he discovers why Mimi looks so familiar to him and wonders if he can finish what he started without her getting her hurt. And that's something he knows he can't live with. But the more time they spend together, the confirmed bachelor discovers that maybe he's not really meant to be alone anymore and maybe there is more to life than just existing. 😍❣️

I liked the premise of the book, it was just too short. I wish the book was longer to explain and flesh out more of the characters and the reason the president's daughter was kidnapped - sorry spoiler! The book was written well, only saw one misspelling. I thought it was engaging, although I did think it was a bit disturbing that Mimi seems to be attracted to Tierney because he reminded her of her father. I think if the author could have expanded on Mimi's devastation over the loss of her father it might have not seemed so odd. I liked the secondary characters and also wished they were given more depth in this first book as I am sure we will get to revisit them as the series continues. Definitely worth reading, super fast read.

This book is an ARC that I received on the condition that I give an honest review. I’ve read several books by Sharon Hamilton and this one did not fail to be a good read. The book had angst, lust, love, mystery, Seal brotherhood and action. It covered all the bases for a great book. Garrett and Mimi had met when she was younger and then met on the mission that Garrett had to complete. They were involved in a secret mission that involved a lot of danger, but after several complications, the mission was completed as successful. Garrett and Mimi realized their love for each other and the story ended in an HEA. I enjoyed this book that had so much happening and never bored the reader.

Garrett Tierney has retired, enjoying his gardens and hens, when a phone call invites him to be the lead in a new division called the Bone Frog Command. Mimi Wagner is a teacher and the daughter of Garrett's oldest friend who died in the line of service. Garrett is called upon when the President’s daughter goes missing. He and his new team made up of old friends go into the field again to find her. Mimi is the last one to have talked with her. She is brought on to help them figure out where she might have gone. With lots of action this story will pull you in.

SEALs Love Legacy by Sharon Hamilton is the first book in the Silver SEALs Series. I loved this book especially for the fact that the hero is an older SEAL. I’ve read most of Ms Hamilton’s SEAL books and loved every one of them, this one is no exception. There’s action, suspense and of course romance. I had a difficult time putting the book down once I started it. I loved the fact that Garrett is in his forties! It seems like the heroes in romance books these days are always young hotties, it was nice to read about an older hottie! If this is how the series starts, I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series!

Mimi Wagner is her teacher but also shares a past with Garrett, she is the daughter of his best friend who died in his arms. This was a great start to a new series. The book was well written with great characters and a well developed storyline. Garrett and Mimi were interesting characters and they had an intense attraction. This was a fast paced and engaging read. It had intrigue, suspense, drama, plenty of action, passion and steam. Highly recommend.

Can't wait for the rest of the Bone Frog Commanders. also once I started reading I didn't want to put down.

I really enjoyed this book. I love the way these teams are a mixed bag of specialists. And even an English teacher had her place in the team. I will admit I am rather glad that there wasn't time spent dwelling on the rightness of the relationship between a former SEAL and his former bud's daughter. So many of these books make that such an important part of the story. In this book it just is what it is.
