Each of the 25 lessons consists of a new grammar skill, five vocabulary words that correspond with the lesson, a practical latin phrase, and one line of a prayer that is learned in totality by the end of the chapter. This book is the ideal precursor to latina Christiana I. Five review lessons, five tests, an appendix, and answer key are included.

Excellent first course in Latin. Taught this to my sons (ages 6 and 9). It is not flashy and doesn't have games and colorful pictures, so if you're looking for that move on. If you're looking for a solid comprehensive introduction to Latin, this is it. This is the first of several courses produced by Memoria Press, which is an excellent and reliable content creator and publisher.

Nice introduction to Latin for my little ones and my kids loved the songs and prayers. It wasn't just a list of words like most other Latin books for young students. It did a good job teaching grammar concepts and introducing the first declension and conjugation.
