The book's design is beautiful and I enjoyed most of the selected poems. There are a total of 366 poems, some were not poems but were still included, and the reason for their inclusion is explained in the introduction. The book ends with a well known anonymous Celtic blessing or 'poem' 367. The theme of the book is Friendship, however, dozens of poems did not fit the theme; hence, seeing those poems as part of this collection was distracting and sometimes frustrating; yet, I still enjoyed them but I believe the lack of focus was the weakness of the book.I read most poems at least twice; I did take my time to feel each verse. It enhanced my reading experience.

I am sure I will read this book again, but this time I intend to read just a poem per day, each day before I start my day 😊

A beautiful gift from a beautiful friend, a gift that keeps on giving 365 days. I loved Lots of the poems and I know I will read it again some day. There are too many favourites to post one here, but I recommend it as a gift for a friend you hold dear. I have shared the poems with other friends as I read them. Thank you again, you know Who you are <3

An unusual collection of poems and a couple of pieces of prose very loosely based on the idea of friendship. There are a lot of less well known poems in this collection, some of which are a delight to discover. The format is one poem per calendar day.

Such a beautifully put-together collection. I loved the idea of having a poem for every single day—it makes it easy to dip in and out, and it gave me so many little moments of reflection. Some of the poems really stuck with me, like: “A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”
Of course, not every poem resonated equally, but that’s the nature of anthologies. Overall, it felt thoughtful, warm, and full of variety, and I know it’s a book I’ll return to again when I need a touch of comfort or inspiration.
