Brianna Nichols hates football. Living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, makes this aversion a difficult one to have, midst all the diehard football fans. Nor has she found one interesting enough to overlook that flaw. Until now. For Brady Campbell the dream of a lifetime has just come true. What's a girl to do when she finds out her nice new neighbor is not just a lover of sports...he's a professional player? Most girls would rejoice, but Bree has already had more than enough of the game. But Gran-Gran is a born matchmaker, and she's a sports nuts on top of it...so who could suit Bree better?
This one was a fun read, and Gran-Gran is a hoot. Definitely worth picking up and enjoying!

When Brianna moves in with her grandmother, she hopes to escape all things football related. Yet her handsome new neighbor could be just the one to change her mind about the game. Brandon Campbell is hoping the job as the Steelers new quarterback will help move on from his reckless past. He wants to show the world that he is a different man. He soon finds himself falling for the girl next door.
I've always enjoyed Janice Thompson's books and this one was sweet. I loved watching both Bree and Brandon come to grips with their pasts.

I listen to the audio version and was given a free copy in exchange for a review. I really enjoyed the narrator of it, she really did a good job on all the characters. I really love the book, loved the way Brianna calls her grandmother, (who is stay with), gran, gran. Her grandmother plays matchmaker to Brianna and Brandon who moves in next door. This is really a good book, enjoyed it very much.

This is the second book in the author’s Red, White, and Blue Wedding series, following Red Like Crimson and before Out of the Blue. It was a cute light read even though the synopsis was way off about how big of an issue Bree’s aversion to football was. The romance took a backseat to this as majority of the novel dealt with Bree and her grandma getting over familial hurts and learning to forgive others and themselves for past misdeeds. There were a few hokey moments such as the grandma sending Bree over there under false pretenses hoping it would be a love at first sight situation but those were easy to overlook.
I enjoyed this story more than the previous one even though the relationship in this one wasn’t as developed as in the first book. Although to be fair that is because they had a history together. Neither was the resolution that was said to have happened between Bree and her dad and there were lots of threads that were left dangling with no resolution or hope for it, since the characters in these three books do not appear to be connected in any way. I wish the author had either shown a resolution for those plot points or never introduced them at all since it seemed to serve no purpose but to add to the word count. Overall one of Thompson’s better works but still not as enjoyable as others I have read by her. A good choice for a quiet afternoon with coffee or tea and all you want is a quick clean romantic read.

I am a huge historical novel fan, so naturally I felt like this story could have used more detail. That isn't a downfall in the writing (it is to be expected for this kind of book), that is simply a personal preference. It's sometimes hard for me to imagine stories without extra detail. 😅
Otherwise, White as Snow is a sweet, laid-back love story! It was a joy to read! I loved Gran-Gran! She reminded me of one of my draft characters that have never seen the light.
Thank you, Janice Thompson, for providing the world with a story about God being greater than our pasts. It's a reminder that we all need from time to time.

Even if you're not a fan of football, you will enjoy this book. Any sport could be inserted for the story line to work. Communication is the secret to any good relationship. So, of course, to make a good book, there is bad communication between the people in this book. The bad communication is not overdone to the point that you want to scream, "Just talk to each other." You clearly see the reasons for the lack of communications. Years are wasted, but reconciliation is achieved.

This is a cute, sweet, clean, Christian romance. I love that through faith they became better, more loving and forgiving, and mended relationships.

I have always been a fan of Janice Thompson's writing. It is clean, Christian writing, contemporary issues. Brianna's life is thrown in a whirl when her new neighbor moves in. Brady meets her Aunt, and her Aunt conspires to throw them both together. The crux of the conflict is that Brianna hates football, and Brady is the new Quarterback for the City football team franchise. How will they resolve this dilemma?
Cute story, with genuine, honest characters, a quick read and HEA, that was fun. Brady was very forgiving, and made the whole story worth the read.

The Christian version of a Harlequin Romance--and just as predictable, just as easy to read and just as forgetable. This one was about the one girl in Pittsburg who hates football and the new next-door neighbor (who happens to be the Steeler's new quarterback. I didn't feel like thinking this afternoon, so in some ways it was the perfect book. I won it on a blog contest so thanks!

A sweet Christian romance with a theme of forgiveness where our sins are washed whiter than snow. I love this author's style of writing and the humor in this story. I was given a copy for an honest review.

This was a modern day romance. The football hero moves next door to an avid fan. Only the fan is a cute granny with a beautiful grand daughter. She hates the game for all that it represents.

Loved! Loved!! Loved!!! this one. A delightful easy read. I loved the inspirational thread of forgiveness and trusting the Lord with your deep hurts. I would love to read of these characters again.

This is a good book for the genre and intended audience. It's a sweet Christian romance, with little angst, and a HEA.
