G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
Karma’s story is full of adventure and a roller coaster of emotions, as she takes on her own mission to destroy the higher Gods.
A Name Like Justice is the fabulous second book in The Secrets Gods Series and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to continuing the journey with the next book.
I dunno. This was a bit flat for me. A lot of the dialogue didn't feel believeable to me and a degree too far into the overly sweet cliche. There were parts that felt like the conflicted with earlier facts. Again, good concept but not great in delivery. I'm also finding Karma to be more annoying and some of the dialogue especially by the mother to be a bit stereotypically sexist and again very one Dimensional.
A Name Like Justice is the second book to The Secret Gods series and I was anxiously anticipating this book. Karma is still kick ass as always but I do feel as though the connection between her and the guys wasn’t as strong as it was in the first book. This was still good though and I will be keeping an eye out for book three!
Okay so to be honest when I started reading this book I wasn't really all that into it. I enjoy the general story and these gods the author has created are quite unique, but something just wasn't really clicking for me. I liked the first book so I was trying to get into the second but it just seemed to fall flat. But wow by the time I got to the end of this story that opinion had changed. The last few chapters of this book really pulled me back in to the story.
Karma learns the truth about her family and the higher gods when they are all pulled into the gods' sick games. With Storm, Killian, and Seth by her side, Karma is able to remain strong in the face of these challenges. But in the end it is up to Karma and her powers to protect herself and those she loves and let's just say that when it comes for you- karma's a b*tch!
The ending of the book (like I said above) really changed things for me. It really grabbed my attention and showed Karma to be the tough kick butt goddess I knew she was. And of course the author drops a killer cliffhanger for us that definitely got my interest! I hope the next book continues to keep me invested in this series because it truly is a fun and unique world that G. Bailey has created. I look forward to reading more.
This series has it all!! Not only do you have a great female lead, Karma, one that really you cant help but love. She is just so likable, and fun, really fun to read about. Her family is also a great source of entertainment for me. Karma really seems to have developed some since book one, which as a reader we always like to read about growth from characters. There is some hard emotional moments here, it wouldn't be a G.Bailey book if there wasn't. She does have knack for drawing the reader in with the story, and then bam. Your left with what the heck happened.
If you are a G. Bailey fan, you will love this series. If you are a Karma fan, your going to freaking love this series.
Holy cow, this story is getting better! Gem has made this story so intense. Karma is an unconventional character that I love. There are some seriously tense moments during the course of the story. I found myself teary-eyed during a very sad memory that Karma has to endure. The next book can't come fast enough. This storyline ends with you wanting more. I would not consider the ending a cliffhanger. •••••• I highly recommend this book/series! •••••• ~~ I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ~~
Anther great series , another fantastic second book 📖 wrote . .....it sets off from where the last book 📖Karma finished , with those gorgeous men and karma in prison.....😮 this book 📖 however has so many twists and turns I felt like I was on a rollercoaster 🎢 off emotions ....karma has to become harder and stronger in this book 📖 to survive the secrets from her family ....😶 I could believe that ending ........and I so can not wait for book 3 to find out what happens next 😊👍🏻👏🏻
Karma learns the truth about her true parentage as a daughter of the higher gods. The same higher God she accidentally killed. Now she has to figure out away to get away from her crazy, sociopaths of aunts and uncle. After her Uncle links them together, her only way out is through Trials. This story has a lot of close calls and jealousy. After that ending, I need book 3 like now! 🤯😵
Yes, finally a reverse harem with realistic feelings on sharing. I love Storm's struggle with Karma's feelings for Seth and Killian. Killian's understanding that to have Karma means to accept his brother and Storm. Karma's character development is something to applaud. She most certainly rises to the occasion in book 2.Using courage even through fear and uncertainty. I cannot wait for book 3. Everyone needs some Karma in their life.
In this second book, Karma has had her world turned upside down. Not only has she has been thrown in prison, she is also in the process of falling for three different men. All of this comes to the front while she is also still finding out that she is not who she thought she was. There as so many twists occurring while we find out more information and her relationships keep growing. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series!
This was a fantastic second book! I could not put it down. It was non stop adventure and I love Karma and her guys so much! Karma is such a great character. She is so full of life and spunk. I love seeing her interactions with the guys and well honestly just about everyone else too. She's got to be pretty tough.. she's going after Gods.. so that's kind of a given.
I am enjoying seeing this story play out and I can't wait for the next one!
Wow. What a ride this book takes you on. Karma goes from strength to strength here, learning about her new world and herself in ways she didn't imagine. Throw in 3 hot and sexy guys that she doesn't want to choose between and things get interesting! Evil Gods, scary trials and lots of opportunities to kick some ass! This series is amazing and I love it so far!
Karma has had her world turned upside down. She has been thrown in prison, she is in the process of falling for three different men, and now she finds out that she is not who she thought she was. Her family is not who she believed it to be, and the twists keep coming. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series!
Karma goes full Gladiator in this second book of the series, and damn if she isn't a boss at it! Storm, Killian and Seth all have staring roles in A Name Like Justice, and I hope to see much more of them in Revenge. Karma is taking her badassery into the unknown and I know her next adventure will be epic.
Karma gets her justice, but only if she could win the trials. It picks up right where book 1 leaves off where Kit opens a portal to find Karma. We, the readers, find out who & why Karma is so special. I love this series! I can't wait for the conclusion to this amazing series aptly titled A Name Like Revenge.
I’ve really enjoyed this world G. Bailey has created. The first book was really amazing and this second book has answered a lot of my questions from the first book. I’m excited to see where the next book will take us!
Holy crap! Karma literally gets put through trials by her "loving" family. We find out heartbreaking news that I literally cried like a baby! Gah! Feck! Ugh the juggling of multiple men drama. Oh and dear old dad. I can't wait to see what's on the other side of that portal!
While I loved #1 this one just didn't work for me. I didn't feel Karma's relationships with the guys. Something was just missing from this one. The games just seemed to fizzle. I did like that Karma's birth was explained and a few unknown facts come to light.
I freaking love the people in this book (ok and goat too). The storyline is awesome and the use of lesser known gods was brilliant. I'm excited to see what happens in the next book.
This book was a kick-butt, take names later type of book I couldn’t put down! I love seeing Karma accept who she is and the men who love her start to accept each other!
I liked it but also didnt feel like I really got to know any of the characters anymore then I first did. I didnt get why they said 5 games but only needed 3 making 2 games count for 2.
I will probably check out the next one though I am curious as to what happens
Karma finds out that the family that raised her was not her real family. Her blood family makes her play games for her family freedom. Then there a major surprise at the end, you don't want to miss this!
I love Karma and her energy. I felt like at the end that the guys were finally coming together. Excited to see where the next story takes us now that Karma is where she is. Sometimes the writing is a little juvenile but this is a really fun, easy read and I do love the characters and this series.
A Name Like Justice is the second book in this series and story continued where it left off with Karma thrown into prison with the guys. In this book, a secret will make Karma’s like turn upside down and she has to keep her fighting mojo on and the guys if she wants to survive. This book is one heck of a crazy ride from start to finish! Book 3 can’t come soon enough that I’m sure will be packed with more action and romance!
Love Karma!!! She has grown so much since book 1. Not gonna lie I want my own personal goblin now. This story is very original and has everything you could want in a book. I was interested the entire time.
I freaking loved this!! This series is amazing! So much fun and crazy emotions run through me! I seriously loved reading both books and I loved Justice! I can not wait to read the next book!!! So great! This story is so intense and fun!! A real page turner!!
I'm am so into Karma's story I finished both books in a day and a half. Crazy. I live this shit. Not too mention I would love to be Karma right now. 3 hit guys 2 if which are brothers. Whooo
