This book was so refreshing! A REALISTIC christian romance, which isn't cheesy at all! Well written! Bravo to Trish Perry.

Beach Dreams was a delightful story with endearing characters brought together in a terrific summer vacation setting. A thread of the gospel message woven within the story was great. I could identify with the characters and watched as they grew and changed throughout the story. A terrific love story with a surprise that you won't see coming. This is the first Trish Perry book I've read but it won't be the last. I highly recommend Beach Dreams.

Loved this book!
After having read Too Good to be True and The Guy I'm Not Dating, both written by Trish Perry, I was eagerly anticipating the return of her characters. I was thrilled to discover that Jeremy was back, and this time this hot Brit's the hero! I hadn't read the first two books in the beach house series by Sally John, but frankly that didn't matter because the characters in the stories were from Trish's previous series. And let me tell you what I love about her writing. She really knows how to write about relationships.
I loved the setting and the activities that took place. The language used by the English was quite fun, if you fancy that sort of thing, LOL! Anyway, Tiffany, the mean girl from the first two books who was humbled and softened at the end of book two, returns in this story as the heroine. She still fights the urge to tell people off and resists the temptation to return to her old ways on occasion, but that made her more real to me.
There were two different times when I got choked up toward the end of this story. I can't tell you what those things were that emotionally moved me because it would spoil the story, but I'll just say that sometimes what you think people believed about you and what you think they meant is not always true. That's the beauty of learning to communicate from the heart. While this book is a great beach read and loads of fun, it's by no means shallow, and on occasion it contains excellent insight into spiritual matters. And those almost-kisses were pure torture! I'm just sad the story had to end.

I picked this book up on random while at the library one day and I'm now hooked on the Beach series and can't wait to read the others.
It explores the world of many lives intertwined by christian faith and values and ones who still need to discover.
Someone will connect to a character, there's someone for everyone.

Lovelly and funn!!! Trish showed a perfect father-daughter relationship, I was always very close to my parents and it is a true blessing to drink in their wisdom!!
As for Eve's shenanigans..well I am a firm believer that God always brings the truth out no matter how we hide it.

Great third book on the beach house series. However written by a new author in her third of 3 books. So now I need to go back and read Trish Perry's other books so I can get the background on the characters

After reading Too Good to Be True by Trish I new this one was going to be good and I wasn''t disappointed. I really enjoyed this book, it was a fun read.

This was an amazing Book. I loved the fact of a girl trying to changing her life and trying to become a christian. I would recommend it to anyone who is into romance.

I wasn't sure about this book when I started reading, TBH. The first two books in the series were so strong right out of the gate, and this is a new-to-me author who has taken over the last 2 books. But, once I got into the groove, I actually ended up really enjoying the read!
I liked how both Tiffany and Jeremy understood that though there was a spark of attraction between them, they both had issues that needed to be resolved before they could consider exploring that attraction. I especially appreciated that both of them turned to their parents, as well as to good and wise friends to help them navigate the situation.
I loved that those who were already believers at the outset of the story were able to share (some in word, some by example) their faith in Christ, and His grace and mercy towards them. My favourite quote, and one that helps me articulate better my own feelings on the 'grace vs works' 'debate':
"We do those things to say thank you, not to say please."
" . . . You say Kara and I volunteer. We don't do that to try to change God's heart. We do that because He changed ours."

Tiffany is in a rut. her mother recently died and she lost her job. She invites her Dad to go with her to a rundown beach house in California for a short vacation. What she didn't know is the Eve had also rented the house for the same week. That turns out not to be such a big problem when Eve spends most of her time with Pattie whom Tiffany suspects is not a real person. in the meantime Jeremy comes out the CA to surprise his girlfriend EVE. A lot of suspicion and mistrust. Jeremy's newly married Dad and his wife come along also. Thanks for the friendly neighbor next to the beach house, there is room for all these extra people. Tiffany is a new Christian and Jeremy has been told about Jesus by his two female friends where he works and they are good friends with Tiffany. This is a really good book. Read it to see how these people all gel and what happens to Eve and Jeremy's relationship.

Set in North Virginia and a beach in San Diego this is a story of Tiff and Jeremy. After the loss of her mother and her job Tiff decides to rent a beach house in San Diego for herself and her dad . They arrive there to find the cottage already occupied by of all people Jeremy's girlfriend Eve. The book is a humorous story about how God uses even our mistakes to bring about His divine purposes.

Jeremy and Tiff find themselves on a beach with their families. Jeremy blindly supports his girlfriend Eve on a trip to see a different guy. Much of the book revolves around Jeremy's relationship with Christianity. If you like cheesy Christian romance, this book is for you. However, if you don't like one of the entire themes of the book to be salvation, I don't recommend it.

I found this story rather predictable. I found the characters kinda shallow. Though is was a Christian story, i found that storyline more of a clique than meaningful. It was a quick read, but i was ready for the two weeks at the beach house to end. The ending was exactly as i thought it would be in the first couple of chapters. It wasn't awful, but it was great either.
