This is a book written by three different authors following a mystery of stolen gold in the same town each author developing a different set of characters and how they find more than gold, they find happiness and a home.
The book is very Christian based I would like everyone who considers buying it to know that straight off. Some will buy it for that very reason and some will avoid it. I like these books some times for a change of pace.
The first part I would have to say was helpful to me in that it had information there on how to have a relationship with God and what is meant by the Holy Ghost. I wasn't raised in the church and don't always understand everything that is written or mentioned. There was one section of this first story that had me start a conversation with my husband about the "Holy Ghost." It is not often that I start conversations such as that with him. So in addition to the story, I learned something new. I liked the first story, the second wasn't as interesting. Perhaps because I went from the first directly into the second. I ended up putting the book down for a while and reading another. Then I picked up the book and read the last section written by the third author and thought that was pretty good also. It is hard to give a rating to a book when it is written by three different authors and although you really like one not as much another. So I gave this book three stars, I liked it. It wasn't in all parts something I could say that I loved or was amazed by, so three stars.

Fun, but fluffy. No real surprises. Still enjoyed the characters and not having to "think" while reading. :)
