This has been my guilty pleasure today.

I don't even like it when the hero is an escort and try to avoid books with an escort hero in it. Here, the hero is an ex porn star. He retired years ago and now he is the owner of a porn film company.

How worse could it get, right?

Well, it could - as the heroine comes to him for an interview to act in such films.
She needs money... A lot of money... Urgently.
She is nervous as hell but hopeless and helpless.
Therefore, she agrees to act in porn films for money.

So now, as if one wasn't enough, we have two: An ex porn star and a new porn star as two main characters...

Obviously, this book is not my usual pick-up, so why did I read this book?
Well, out of curiosity, of course, why else?
Curiosity killed the cat, I know.
But knowing what I am diving into and what I should expect helps. I just needed to satisfy my curiosity and all.

Every now and then, I force myself out of my comfort zone and here I was doing it again. And frankly, I don't regret a bit :) It was different.



So, please shush; let's keep this quite and I will tell you more.

Actually, the book is sweeter and more emotional than I was expecting. It is hot, but not as scorching hot as I, Porn Star by Zara Cox, which is a unique book and this book, Faire L'amour cannot come close to its awesomeness, but still I enjoyed my time with this book.

If you are uncomfortable about porn films and porn industry, maybe you should not try it at all but if you can be flexible every now and then, well, then, this book could be your guilty pleasure, too for a few hours.

The main characters are both likable and their chemistry is hot.

The porn industry and the workers involved are dealt with respect and the tone of writing is cool. As a matter of fact, the positive sex worker representation makes all the characters in the book likable.

From now on, there might be minor spoilers, so proceed with caution.

The book starts as if our hero, Preston, is going back to acting and the heroine's films will be starring her and Preston but it actually quickly turns into something else.

She gets nervous with the camera crew, he throws them out of the room. There are only two of them and the cameras.

Their connection and chemistry is palpable and after the session ends, Preston stops the camera, takes the footage and locks it in the drawer of his desk in his office. He watches it alone and doesn't give it to the editing crew.



Each session, the same thing happens. He doesn't let her do any scenes with another actor, he doesn't let any crew in the room, it is always a closed scene and the films never appear on the website of the company.

He even sets up a webcam in her house for her to earn more money but he doesn't allow anyone else to reach it. He is her only client with a nickname.

Possessive much :)??

Obviously, both of them grow feelings for each other. Preston keeps all these things secret from her and fears what will happen when she learns about it one day.

That's all it is about.

The book is on the sweeter side rather than the erotic one but it still has its hot moments, of course.



I just wish there were more dialogues between them as a couple. Maybe going out and dating could have started earlier?

The book has a HEA. The Epilogues, all 4 of them were good, I liked them :)

The book is 180 pages, which doesn't have much room for plot development. I wish it were longer with a more developed plot line.

With only 180 pages, it is a quick read, maybe a little shallow because of its short length but all in all, if you need a short book that is sweet and hot, this book may be an option if you can feel OK with an ex porn star as the hero for once, letting yourself out of your comfort zone. If not, you won't be losing much, don't even consider it.

I am giving it 3 stars out of 2,5.

So I am not really a fan of romance books that center on porn stars or the porn industry. It just isn't a romantic concept for me. However, I am a big fan of this particular author, so I figured I would give this book a try. Did I love it? No. I had a hard time getting past the fact that this heroine would have to live with that fact that thousands of movies featuring her husband f-cking OW would be out there for the rest of their (and their children's) lives. I mean, do YOU want to be surfing the net and run across your father in a gang bang...gag. (lol)



That said, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I adored Preston. He was super sweet. Sexy as f-ck. Wanted to make the porn industry better and safer. I loved that Rosie wasn't a virgin. The sex was SMOKIN' HOT. There was no OW or OM drama. There were a few interesting secondary characters. I'll admit, I am kind of intrigued by Merrick, and it all wrapped up in a super sweet ending. So yea, I took a chance, and it paid off.

4 Porno Stars ⭐️

There has been a lot of hype surrounding this book due to it being temporarily banned by Amazon. After reading Fair L’Amour (Make Love) I have no idea why.

This is the story of Rosie who is inundated with debt and needs a way out. Rosie is an average girl who applies for a job making porn out of desperation. She is interviewed by the owner of “Golden Age Productions” Preston, and he offers her the role with him as her co-star.

Now I’m all for diverse reads and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and story line. It was heartfelt, sweet and really sexy but it could have been perfect if it was grittier and remained true to the plot. Unfortunately the porn scenes were glossed over and it became more about sexual discovery for the pair. If the porn industry was that attractive and paid $1500 an hour, I’d probably consider giving up my day job as well (just kidding….sorta).

Overall, this was a great read.

Overall Opinion: I'll admit it -- I'm a sucker! I hurried up and found this puppy after hearing that Amazon banned it. Amazon has some trashy and taboo books in their stock, so I couldn't imagine what was so bad about this to where they would feel the need to ban it. So what did I do? I dove right in. I did, however, find it on Amazon kindle unlimited after all -- so I guess the initial ban was lifted 🤷🏻‍♀️ Makes perfect sense to me, because I am still really confused about why they would do that in th first place. This wasn't really taboo. Yes, the H was an ex porn star...yes, they do have sex in front of cameras...but "taboo"?! Meh. Maybe I'm desensitized because I've read captivity books, books with rape, big age differences, step-sibling mcs, and "dark" romances where I think the content was way more shocking than here in this book. I also didn't feel like it was much more than a bunch of sex scenes between two lonely people that find comfort in each other. I think it had the potential to be more, but I think just didn't quite get there. Overall, just an okay read...and if Ms. Gadziala made up the ban just to get readers -- this sucker fell for it! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Rosie and Preston's story. Rosie is in a tough place financially and finds herself interviewing to be a porn star with Preston's production company. Preston is an ex star turned executive that sees something in Rosie to make him come out of retirement for. After their first scene, he feels possessive for the first time and secretly keeps all their film to himself. After spending more time together on set as well as through anonymous chat sessions, they start to fall in love. There is a good bit of hot sexy times and some family, career, and financial drama...and they get a HFN ending

POV: This alternated between Rosie and Preston's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well.

Instalove: Kind of. I just didn't fully understand the development into stronger feelings.

H rating: 4 stars. Preston. I liked him. He was sweet, protective, and sexy.

h rating: 3.5 stars. Rosie. I liked her, but I also felt like she was kinda clueless at times to where I wanted to shake her.

Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed

Push/Pull: Yes The h pushes away at one point, and I'd say the H is the main pursuer of the relationship.

Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes -- and a good bit to where I think it potentially took the place of some of the story.

Descriptive sex: Yes

OW/OM drama: No

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: No, once they get together there is no separation.

Possible Triggers: Yes The H was an ex porn star and now porn executive, loss of parents (h-off page), and sibling with schizophrenia (on page)

Closure: This had alright closure with what I would call a HFN ending, but others might be fine in calling it a HEA the h is pregnant and they're living together, but I don't remember any mention of them getting married.

Safety: This one is probably Safe with exception for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences.

My very first Jessica Gadziala! And the verdict is definitely positive . . .

Yes, that, that was the sexiest sight the world had to offer. A beautiful, naked man with hunger in his eyes.

The laid back writing style, the unique plot, and the sizzling HEAT all made for some great reading here. I was never bored and I became invested in the characters quite quickly.

My only complaint is that I needed more after the story came to a head . . . more intimacy, more conversation, more romance to really bring the resolution home for me.

Regardless, faire l'amour has put this author firmly on my radar. I'm going to have to dive into the Henchmen! :D

What the fuck did I just read? I need fucking bleach for my eyes. Here I was thinking that I was going to read something different from what I got!



This has got to be the quickest dnfed in history of my DNFs. At 5% I was so fucking ready to throw in the towel.

Hero is an owner of porn company. No he did not inherit it, he chose to build it. He was also a ex porn star who did scenes from time to time.
Heroine is a innocent "wanna" be a porn star she's not interested in doing other scenes with other people, only with the hero because she has seen his old porn videos. I didn't get that far to see if she's a virgin but by hero's description of her, it sounds like she is or she might be very inexperienced.

That's enough for me to not wanting to continue reading this. I don't care if it's safe or not but hero is a walking std poster child.

What in the world! I never thought I would read anything like this from this author.

Edit: Hero is watching/filming a scene of double anal penetration. (He's not the one doing it)

First of all, holy hotness!

JG once again slays it. With multi-layered characters and unique situations, this book is classic JG while at the same time wholly different than what many have come to expect from her.

I am always impressed by the stories she tells, but this one is definitely one of my favorites.

Bonus: 10,000 stars alone just for the positive sex worker representation!!

There are some authors that surprise you when you least expect it. This author happens to be one of those.

I’ve never read this author before and honestly I’ve never heard of her before but I saw a review for this book and I knew I had to read it. I am so glad I did.

I absolutely fell in love with the story and the characters. It’s not easy to write a story like this one. It could’ve been raw and gritty however the author made this a beautiful, deeply sexy, and very hot story. I truly was blown away.

This book was a swan dive into the deep end of the sexy, amazing, panty-ripping, warm-fuzzy-feeling, better-than-chocolate pool....yes, that’s a thing. You can find it in this book.



You know the blurb made you curious. Desperation can make a person do just about anything, especially when others depend on you for survival. She’s making decisions she never though she’d make, and he’s feeling thing that are more than just business...how has HBO not contracted Jessica to write for them?



Rosie. Love the name (and I’m allowed to be 100% partial because Rose is my middle name so that’s like we share a name...mostly...) because it lends an innocent and soft quality to this leading lady. Her name, like her character and compulsion to finish what she started from the beginning, make her a character you know you’d be friends with in real life. Probably the most dependable and sweet friend you’d ever have.



Preston. There’s just something about a man in a suit, behind a desk, with a body that’s just the right amount of man to grab onto. You can smell him through your reading device, he smells like expensive cologne, confidence, and sex. Preston is every inch (you’re terribly dirty for where your mind just went btw) the man this story needed. I loved watching him learn to love. You’ll love him too I promise.



Side characters were a little light for a JG novel but still leave us wanting more. We can all hope and pray to maybe see more of Merrick or Melody in the future. Merrick was the little bit of bad we all need in a hero’s best friend, while Melody came across genuine in a field that I’m sure can be rife with competition to get ahead. No one could deny they would love a right-hand man like Cooper. Even stay-at-home mom’s would pay a Cooper to take care of some business. While we didn’t get to know them deeply, Jessica paints a well rounded and believable background with each person we meet.



The sex was steamy, the story was real, the emotional connection was what we all need in a romance, and the epilogue was the cherry on the sundae. I can’t recommend this stand-alone enough. Pair it with a hot bath, a silky bathbomb, your drink of choice and treat yo’self - you deserve it.



P.S. Die Hard is TOTALLY a Christmas movie!

When you've read 60 plus books from an author, you think you know what to expect. Even when that new book is a standalone with a fancy looking french title. To say I was shocked by the opening paragraph is an understatement. Now this doesn't mean I didn't like it, I'm just stating its been a while since a long read author has accomplished that for me. Without spoiling it for the next person, so they can be just as shocked, this is not your average erotic romance story. Go on give it a try.. I dare you :)

Read it somewhere quiet where you have no humans lurking around. Don't do a me and start reading at the inlaws because bitch I tell you this shit has STEAM like no other and it's get a little awks when your feeling hot and bothered and they ask if your ok because your flushing. LOL. SERIOUSLY this shit could only happen to me!.

Soooooooo.....



Diving in I had no clue what was ahead. The blurb isn't super telling so you're going in blind. KEEP IT THAT WAY!!. Don't be that person who ruin it for themselves. Trust me when I say you want the surprise, you want to read the story as it unfolds feeling every emotions there is to feel. It makes the experience all the better for you as a reader.

I mean when you open the book on 'For the average person, watching a live double-anal scene was not an everyday occurrence.' You just know shit is about to get all kinds of INTERESTING to say the least.


Preston and Rosie's story is the stuff of dreams. Two characters who really couldn't be any further apart on the things in common spectrum, yet fit together so seamlessly, it's as if they've always been so. Character development is a huge part of this story! Jessica brings us the bare bones of two people and builds off that foundation. There's no crazy drastic personality changes or anything but I feel like the characters grow tremendously in a way that helps us as readers really understand, connect and relate to them. They balance eachother out in a way that just made sense. There was moments of insecurity, times of stress and untold truths that weighed heavily over them. It wasn't perfect, infact it was pretty dysfunctional all things considered yet it fit them perfectly. Imperfectly perfect they had that raw, real palpable chemistry that singed through the pages making you feel every emotion like it was your own.

There story isn't all hearts and flowers. They navigate through uncharted territory pretty much throughout the whole story because it's new to both of them. It was never going to be easy but it also wasn't hard because they just fit naturally despite the odd situation they both found themselves in. I found myself stuck from the first page drinking every line like my life depended on it. I wanted to know more about this new world and it's larger than life characters!. I felt every emotion and connected to the characters like they are real.

AND of course this author the darling she is gave us lovable side characters to crave after!!. She loves to tease us!.

Everything about this story is fictional perfection. It's fresh, exciting and like nothing I've read before!. The story flows seamlessly at a pace that allows you to really delve deep into the characters and their journey. It's sensual without being cheesy or OTT and this author really did a phenomenal job of NOT making their profession some dirty sleazy thing. There's no shamming on both sides and that is a rare thing with stories surrounding this topic.

Also lots of love to Jessica who released this story even when she was worried about the reaction people may have. Though I don't know why because girl you could write the alphabet and make me love it!. You continue to amaze me with your badass skills. Yet again you blew it out the water and I'm afraid I have to say that these two are up there with my og JG favs. Seriously I know I'm being greedy but I will file a big ass complaint if this doesn't get a series!! I want/NEED it!!!. So fucking good.

Opening paragraph: a gorgeous, well-dressed man blandly critiques the performance of the star of a double an@l penetration scene (spoiler: not very convincing). Why? Because he's the owner of the adult film business, and her clearly faked, high-pitched screeching just won't cut it for the paying viewers. Oh no, no, no, you probably misunderstand: for clarity, our heroine isn't THAT actress, but rather the nervous girl-next-door quaking in her seat in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting her interview to possibly join the ranks of porn actors working for a premier online subscription service so she can earn the money she desperately needs to pay off a massive debt.

Preston's gorgeous face and body starred in thousands of scenes as one of the world's top porn stars until he retired to set up his own film business. Now working exclusively behind the camera, one of his many mundane duties is to give final say on the people who apply for jobs as his actors and to schedule who works with whom. Normal, everyday tasks. Until wide-eyed, shaky Rosie turns up for the interview, and Preston shocks himself (and everybody else) by scheduling Rosie's first scene to be on a closed set. With him. On a set that is not only closed, but deserted by everyone except Rosie and him.

A sweet love story blooms in an unlikely situation, made even better as it's written with care and sensitivity. Not to say there isn't hot sex (oh yes, it's smoking), but there's more to porn than sweaty, faux-passionate moans and more to love than hand-holding and candlelit dinner dates.

At this point I don't even need to read a synopsis of one of JG's books, I went in blind with faire l'amour knowing it would be good cause, you know it's JG.

This was unexpected and not like anything she has written before. I'm completely bowled over! It was more than another sexy story, yes it was hot but it made my cry, laugh, great characters and writing! As much as I love Jessica's series, her standalones are just as amazing. Keep 'em coming doll!

So refreshingly different! Not surprisingly it was amazing! So hot and sexy and completely different from what I have read before. I finished it in one day I couldn’t put it down. So captivating, you immediately get pulled into this world and you feel all the emotions Rosie feels and simply amazing. Preston is such an alpha guy but totally not an asshole. I love that Jessica doesn’t shy away form writing about mental illness showing that it may happen more than you think in different degrees to different people. I think incorporating it into her writing is a great way to shed some light on something that is still not very known, maybe a little taboo to talk about still. Another wonderful read!

Ok, is it just me or does Jessica really have a knack for writing some seriously sexy men. Preston is the definition of sexy with a French accent to boot. He runs an adult film streaming company.During his interviewing of new female talent he meets sweet and shy Rosie. She has come down to the point of by any means necessary she needs to make money.
faire l'amour has some very hot scenes between Preston and Roise during filming . Preston was the most intuitive man during sex. He is so in tune with a women's body. Ahhh...the scenes are just so 🔥🔥🔥🔥! This book is a must read. Five star's!!!

faire l'amour was just so unique...its a sweet, sexy..like 🔥sexy read...jam packed full of undeniable chemistry (can a girl get a fan or perhaps a bucket of ice water), Preston & Rosie GAH! SO GOOD! With a one of a kind storyline that addresses serious mental health topics with respect and thoughtfulness. I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this book.

Wow!! This was amazing! It was super sexy! And so sweet at the same time. I loved Preston and Rosie. The whole story line of the book was so different than I’ve ever read. I thought it was very classy, and so well written. And I should mention again, So hot and sexy! This is definitely a book that every romance lover needs to check out!

I have recently fallen in love with this author. Her worlds are amazing! You read them and just get lost in them.

I’ve read her MC series and one thing I’ve learned is that she is not afraid to walk the boundary line and take one giant leap over. So i was expecting faire l’amour to be good but I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it as much as I did.

It was funny, sweet, sexy, crazy and hot! I don’t know if the author was going for these things but thats what I certainly picked up.

Both the main characters were superb, I love characters that just gel. That you read and think, “yeah, that works.” Preston and Rosie did just that. They had chemistry, they bounced off of one another and they made me, the reader, fall just that bit more in love with the story.

Cannot wait to read more from this author. Highly recommend!

Wow, this book is incredible! I went in completely blind, not knowing what it was about and I am so happy I did. And because of that I wont share what it is about with you. Jessica took an unusal subject matter for a romance book and it paid off! This is one of her best stories yet. I absolutely loved every second of reading it. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! (And I had been going through a massive book hangover for a week.) Both characters were well developed and so freaking lovely. I don't think I have the right words to use for how much I love this book. ALSO MASSIVE PANTY MELTER! holy shit! I am talking complete fire! (quickly grab your real life partner or bob!) Please give this book a chance! HIGHLY recommend.
