I knew nothing about Bruce Lee before reading The Bruce Lee way. He did so much in such a short life. i liked that this book did not take me forever to read. My favorite thing about the Bruce Lee way is the Bruce Lee quotes. I learned a little about Bruce Lee by reading this book. It makes me want to learn more about him. I also makes me want to watch all his movies.

I’ve been fascinated with Bruce Lee ever since seeing him portray Kato in the Green Hornet tv series. This book, like his life, was much too short. While the photos were fun to see, there is just not enough text. It works well as a tease to read more about this cultural icon’s life, and I hope to do that.🥋

This is a great crash course into who Bruce Lee was as a man and fighter. His legend still continues. I was amazed at how his physical strength was matched, if not overcome, by his mental strength. Injury was viewed as an opportunity to improve and come back stronger than he originally had been.

Having read most of Bruce Lee's books, this one was short and expensive for what was in it. That said, there were a few things I don't remember seeing anywhere else so not a total loss.

This book could easily be read in one short sitting. It's little. If you're already a fan of Bruce Lee, you won't learn much of anything new here. But it's still a fun little book with photos and copies of letters written by Bruce.

Quentin Tarantino's last movie (and perhaps literally his final one) "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" was wildly successful at the box office, though it divided many of his longtime fans. Some in fact flat out refused to see the film, due to what they felt was its derogatory depiction of martial arts icon Bruce Lee, who is portrayed in a single scene as a sort of braggart and bully who tries to convince everyone on the film set where he's working that he could defeat Muhammad Ali in a stand-up fight.

It might seem silly to some to be up in arms about a fictional depiction of Lee, but the man is very important to many different people around the world, as much for his general philosophy of life as for his fighting prowess. "The Bruce Lee Way" is a short book, part primer, part scrapbook, that offers a glimpse rather than a lingering look into the thought process and work habits of the old Master, as well as some photos of Lee with his family and on-screen opponents. I'm not a die-hard Lee fan, so it will be for others to say how rare some of this ephemera is, but I found it interesting enough.

I confess to not be overly-enamored with the gnosis of the East, and personally don't believe that any man walking the Earth has found "the way" or some method for penetrating or harnessing the Ur-mystery at the heart of the universe, discovering some heretofore hidden path through life. And though some of Lee's aphorisms and tidbits of wisdom could have the hollow ring of cookie cutter guru boilerplate when mouthed by someone else, his spirit of sincerity comes through the pages and imbues it all with a spiritual essence that allows even the simplest-sounding quote to sound fresh and new.

It reminds me of a time far in the past, when I was at a friend's house smoking weed and we stumbled on a late-night rerun of one of Lee's movies. "I'm getting really strong vibes from this movie," my friend suddenly said. Sure, some of it was the pot, which was strong, but a lot of it was Lee. And you'll probably feel some of what my friend felt reading this book.

A short but fairly rich peek into the world of a legend, that can be consumed in an hour or a month, depending on how quickly the reader wishes to digest its contents. Recommended.

This books give you a glimpse into Bruce Lee and his philosophies about life, family and work. It proved photos of hand written notes from Bruce. It has photos of him with quotes of his. It's a great little pocket book to keep around to inspire and remind someone of their own dreams.

This little book was deeply inspiring and led me to read more of Bruce Lee as a Philosopher, a Martial Artist, an Actor, and a master at life skills. I highly recommend for inspiration that provokes positive action. This led me also to read "Be Water, My Friend" by Shannon Lee.
