I freaking love Lauren Rowe so much. Her books are so fun and her narration is perfect. This one had some great moments and overall I loved both Savvy and Aiden. It made me laugh and smile, but it definitly had some over the top/extra moments towards the end. A fun listen I would recommend if you're looking for something short and light.

I've read one book from this author before this one and she quickly became a favorite of mine. She has this wonderful talent for creating sweet and wholesome and sexy and genuine people that you can't help but become invested in. Her straightforward plots and endearing characters make every one of her stories must-reads in my book. Misadventures on the Rebound is absolutely no exception!

Misadventures with a Rebound by Lauren Rowe

MY THOUGHTS:
This is the story of Aiden and Savannah 'Savvy'. I have to say this is not one of my favourites of the Misadventure Series I was really engrossed in the story until about half way point when the story got lost for me. Everything became a little to Ocean’s Eleven and that’s not my cup of tea which was such a shame as I really engrossed for the first half.
The chemistry between Aiden and Savvy was insanely hot and as far as characters go they are both likeable and engaging. Savvy is smart and funny, and Aiden is sweet and sexy.
I liked this story but didn’t love it. However, if you are after a funny, entertaining, quick and easy read then give it a go you.

Oh. My. God. LAUREN! This book, Christ! It was everything.
I’m so happy to have had the honour of reading this book because I’m so overwhelmed with the feels right now I just can’t handle it.

I actually can’t even gather all my thoughts together right now it’s literally taking me forever to finish writing this review.
Savvy and Aiden are EVERYTHING. They’re complete opposites and it just goes to show with them that opposites really do attract because I’m never seen or met a more perfect couple than those two. They’re adorable, funny and super fucking sexy.
Aiden hasn’t had it easy in life. He knows loss and pain and doesn’t want to feel it again. So when a threat to his dad is there he’ll do anything he can to do away with that threat, anything at all. What he doesn’t expect is his world to change when he meets the gorgeous girl at the bar.
Savvy is smart, beautiful and caring. She’s an amazing woman but when it comes to men she’s shit out of luck in that department. So when she goes to a bar and decides to let loose she meets a handsome stranger that’s about to change her whole world and boy it’s so damn exciting to see.
Watching these two spent the upcoming days together is a fun experience. They’ve both got their shit to deal with but seem to make time to smile. Their story is insane filled with a shitload of bad luck and boat load of good luck all mixed into one.
Oh and let me just put this out there..the sex is the hottest thing ever. It’s scorching, sexy and will destroy your panties, no lie.
Misadventures on the Rebound was a huge hit for me. Any time a new Lauren Rowe book comes around I know without a doubt I’m going to love it. This woman puts her all in to every single book she’s written and it’s clear to see. Savvy and Aiden now hold a special place in my heart and I know for sure they’ll be there forever.
Lauren is one of those authors that when reading her writing your instantly whipped away into a whole new world. A world full of her characters and all the feels that come along with them. Feelings you’re not expecting to feel, feelings that hit you straight in the gut and those unexpected ones are the very best kind and I love that she can do that. It’s one of the many reasons I love this woman and her books. She’s incredible. I sincerely wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars because it deserves so much more.

4.5 perfect couple who are relationship goals CROWNS
Lauren Rowe has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her quirky Morgan Brothers Series made me such a fan of her work, so I was excited to read a book outside of this world. Not surprisingly, her knack for writing the most lovable characters extended outside of the Morgan Brothers to Savvy and Aiden.
The best part of this book is the characters and the chemistry between these two. Everything from the dialogue to the hottest sex, sets these two apart. I love Savvy’s heart and intelligence and Aiden’s soul. These two are just utterly lovable.
The story itself is a tad predictable, but that does not lessen the enjoyment in their journey. Lauren Rowe makes you laugh, heats up the sheets, and leaves you swooning, and the quick pace leaves readers engaged from cover to cover.
Misadventures with a Rebound is another fantastic read from a just as equally fantastic writer. The story is sexy and fun, but the characters steal the show. Readers will fall in love with them.

Lauren Rowe does it again! I’m always learning new phrases and lingo from her too!! This one will stay with me forever, “My give-a-shitter done broke, that’s all.” EPIC!! Savvy and Aiden are so perfect. I love their love, sexy passion, and the humor!! Aiden turned our inexperienced girl into a freak. Lauren Rowe can write an alpha male. Yasss!

What happens when the rebound boy is the perfect guy up to his armpits in a situation he can't avoid? A sweet, romantic, adventurous, wacky good time with a rockin' heroine who kicks a little butt in the process. And who doesn't love a guy who can rock, both in the bedroom and outside of it?
It's classic Rowe with great dialogue and a bit of intrigue. Lots of schmexy goodness, and a little reunion in-your-face that we probably all wish we could get.

This is the second book I've read in the Misadventures series and I really enjoyed it. To me, it was a light-hearted read. Not too long, it was an average length book. Definitely not a slow burn type of romance. This was an instant connection/lust type of romance between the characters.
This is Aiden and Savvy's book. Savvy is a 23-year-old woman who has just had the shittiest day in her life. She just lost her dream job and found her perfect guy cheating on her. This is the same perfect guy she wanted to show off at her 5-year reunion. After her horrible day, she goes to a bar to drink her sorrows away. There, she meets sexy Aiden. Aiden has been going through his own problems and is not in a good place currently in his life. But what they didn't know is that, they are exactly what each other needed.
This was such a sweet love story. Aiden was a swoon-worthy hero. Their story started off as a steamy one night stand and ended in them finding true love. Although this was a nice sweet romance, I kinda wanted more drama or more twists (that's my opinion though).
Author's writing was amazing as well.

This was a fun and easy read from Ms Rowe. Savvy and Aiden were really fun characters, from the moment they meet in that little old bar. And that quote I've shown above? That was the moment I fell for Aiden. Right at the start of the book.
These two have crazy chemistry, and an even crazier story that unfolds as they get to know each other. This was a really fun and interesting ride with these two, and it was hard to know what kind of turn the events would take. There are base emotions with the two of them that are very relatable, particularly for me on Savvys side of things.
I truly enjoyed reading this story and liked these characters, and definitely recommend this one. Its fun, fast, sexy, and funny.

This story took an unexpected direction. But that certainly wasn't a bad thing. I never felt like I knew what way the story was going to go next. I never knew what the characters were going to do or say. All of that made for quite the misadventure story. Lauren Rowe has become an author I can count on to give me a good story and Misadventures on the Rebound was no exception.
Savvy was funny and sassy and passionate. She felt things deeply and sometimes quickly but she was a good person and had some pretty crappy luck with men. She's the kind of character you root for and need to see them get their HEA.
Aiden was a different kind of leading man. His past was unexpected. His present was surprising yet a big factor in this story. He's definitely a loveable main character though. From his very first introduction he's interesting and supportive and he made Savvy feel all the things she should feel.
This was overall a really good new story from a favorite author. And it's a credit to the Misadventures series as it makes me want to read more of them.

I love Lauren Rowe and I love the misadventur series so I was majorly excited to get my hands on Lauren’s latest misadventures book and wow, it was totally worth the wait!
I loved the story line and how it was different to most story lines I’ve read recently. I was hooked from chapter one.
My fav thing about the book?...the characters! You will not want to put this book down because you will want to know more about the characters, they make the story. Savvy is great, she is street smart, super nerdy yet seriously gullible. I loved reading her characters development and joining her on the journey. Our main man is mysterious bad boy Aiden, I also enjoyed his background story and his personal journey earned him a huge spot in my heart.
Passion, hilarious moments, some seriously smoking hot scenes...Lauren gives us it all. Huge 5 stars!!!

Our main man is mysterious bad boy Aiden, I also enjoyed his background story and his personal journey earned him a huge spot in my heart.
Passion, hilarious moments, some seriously smoking hot scenes...Lauren gives us it all. Huge 5 stars!!!

I love the Misadventure Series! And I love Lauren Rowe! With that combination, you can't go wrong! This story was great! It had all the feels and left you wishing you'd lost your job, caught your boyfriend cheating, took off to Vegas, and ended the day meeting a hot guy in a dive bar on the way! Just when you think it get get stickier, it does. Love the suspense! You won't regret this purchase!

Aiden and Savvy were just lovely together and I'm glad she finally got a man to treat her right.

I have loved Lauren Rowe and her books since her 1st release, The Club. She just gets better and better with each book. Misadventures on the Rebound is no different. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!
This story starts with our heroine, Savvy, having a really bad day. She is fired from her dream job when she goes to think things through she discovers even more heart break. Now she is on her way to Vegas, her hometown for a school reunion, except she's made a stop at a dingy bar, to drink her troubles away for at least one night. There she meets Aiden, a sexy stranger with a few skeletons in the closet.

The two agree to one night. The best night of sex either has but it has to end. Right? He is going to Vegas too, she can give him a ride and maybe they can stretch it to two days of rebound sex.
What happens when neither one was looking for anything but they find what has always been missing? Do they jump? What happens when he must reveal his real reasons for being in Vegas? What does she do? Risk it or run?
I love this story. Ms Rowe's righting is always a fresh look at a cliche mantra. This case the rebound hook up turning into a HEA. Her take though breathes life into a same ole same ole story line. She will look at and make it fresh, make it real, make it believable. She will give us a strong male lead and an even stronger female lead. Great secondary characters. Just love her books

After misadventures on the night shift, I said that I wouldn't read another book written by Lauren Rowe, but as you can see, here I am! And as much as I hated the first book, I loved this one. Thankfully no third parties were involved and I could happily read MONR. The thing that I loved the most about this book was Aiden's song. He melted my heart with that song. It was the highlight of the story. Savvy and Aiden face a lot of obstacles in their journey. I would call half of the things they did in this book adventures. The story is set in Vegas and as you can see from the cover some gambling is involved. Everything that happened is a little far-fetched and crazy, but it worked with the tone of the series. At the time I was reading it, I was just going with the flow and wanting to see if our characters were going to be able to achieve their goal or lose everything, including someone's dignity and self-respect. For more about that, read the book. The characters were very interesting and very nice in ways that I wasn't expecting. I thought that Aiden's father was the bad guy, but somehow I ended up liking him and wanting him to get his happy ending.
MOTR is going to be one of my favorite in the series, which came to a surprise even to me. I was happy with the book and the characters (main and secondary, with the exception of Savvy's ex) and I would recommend it.

The thing I love about Misadventures on the Rebound is it’s sweet, smart and totally HOT!! I absolutely loved Savvy who isn’t savvy and Aiden who isn’t ugly. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Fantastic quick read. Favorite saying “My give-a-shitter done broke”

My new favorite Misadventure right here! Lauren Rowe knocked this out of the park. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down until the end. Savvy is amazing, loved her. And Aiden, wow. Fantastic book, I absolutely loved it!

I wanted to love MA on the Rebound, I really did, especially after how much I enjoyed MA of a College Girl - but it just didn't work for me. I think the plot was just too much lucky coincidences and perfect timing for my suspension of disbelief to handle (which given some of the books I read is a bit surprising to say the least). I liked Aiden okay, but couldn't really vibe with Savvy - though she truly was a sympathetic character. But she straddled a fence between confident and unsure that was a bit manic and hard to keep up with. And I was really looking forward to seeing the jerk from the prologue (no spoilers) getting his comeuppance and even that fell a bit flat in the end. The best parts of the book for me were the steamy bits (woo lawd - the steamy bits) and the sweet epilogue. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

To be completely honest, I didn’t really know much about this book before I got it. I knew it was in the works, but I also knew that if I read the synopsis before it came out, I’d become ridiculously impatient for its release… so I just added it to my TBR and tried to forget about it until release day to save myself from suffering.
That is, until Shameless Book Con came around where I saw Lauren in person and couldn’t help gushing about how much I love all her books and she surprised me by giving me the arc.
The moment I read the synopsis, I knew it would shoot directly to the top of my TBR pile.
The last Misadventures book I read by Lauren Rowe went down in history as one of my all-time favorite reads with one of my all-time favorite book boyfriends… needless to say, the bar was set incredibly high.
So high, in fact, that part of me worried that this book would not live up to my expectations.
Why I question it, I have no idea. I had absolutely nothing to worry about.
After several weeks of misses in nearly every new book I read, Misadventures on the Rebound was such a refreshing read. It has every element I’d been looking for in a romance novel: white-hot chemistry, interesting and likeable characters, and an interesting and believable storyline.
Like all of Lauren Rowe’s couples, I flipping loved Aiden and Savvy together.

This book is brilliant, a genius story that makes you think that even on your worse and darkest days there is always light at the end of a spiraling tunnel. This book starts off with one huge disappointment after another. And just when the world seems bleak and you're at a loss a sexy stranger comes walking into your life.
This book is a road trip and romance like you haven't read before. I laughed so much reading this book but in saying that I found my heart real heavy at points in this book as well. I could relate to Savvy so much, I mean I ain't no genius but I felt the same at school and wasn't really in the popular group. Which I am all good with now, might I add.
Aiden is just as much of a mess as Savvy but he knows what he must do and he is ok with it. Well that until he falls hard and fast for the pocket rocket genius that is Savvy. This book is a mixture of so much but running in the background is a rockstar romance you don't see coming. I mean that it's not the prominent story line but I love that about it and I also love the nod to previous characters too.
This book is a huge recommend from me. I can honestly say I loved every word and once again. Lauren Rowe had kept me completely engrossed and entertained with her words and stories. A must read.

Lauren Rowe has a knack for writing such fresh and fun characters and I absolutely adored Savvy and Aiden in this book! There was so much more than meets the eye with these two and I loved Savvy’s misadventures on a rebound.
Aiden was hot, sexy, sweet and a reformed con artist. My poor heart just broke for him. He was such a gentleman to his core but he was dealt a shitty hand at life losing the people closest to him and having to clean up his father’s messes.
Savvy was super smart but also super gullible. She had some shitty luck, but when she meets Aiden the cards fall into place and the stars align. Their chemistry was white-hot and scorching! I absolutely loved them together!
These two characters were absolutely EVERYTHING and so much more! Lauren Rowe pulled me out of real life and wouldn’t let me put this book down until I reached the end. I was completely consumed by this story and it was such a refreshing read from all of the dark books I’ve been reading lately.
If you’re looking for a super hot and sweet read, then read this book! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Savvy (can we just take a minute to appreciate that name) and Aiden's chemistry jumps off the pages, and not only in the sack.
As usual and much appreciated Lauren Rowe creates a story that is not only HOT in the extreme, but does it by writing dialogue like nobody else. With her distinct voice and rythm she makes you fall in love within the first couple of sentences and the world melts away.

5 Savvy Who Isn’t Savvy Stars!!!
This is yet another winner from Ms. Rowe. I loved everything about Savvy and Aiden’s story. The way the book started I wasn’t really sure where she was going with it, but very quickly we find out and let me tell you, Savannah Valentine or Savvy as she prefers to be called, is a woman that has had some bad luck both in love and work. Having said that, Ms. Rowe definitely had me laughing while at the same time my heart hurt a little bit for our heroine.
But what’s a better way to feel better about yourself than to have a one-night stand with a hottie she sees in a bar in small Southern California town…nothing I tell you.. it’s all about forgetting what just happened, add some cocktails into the mix and it’s a party.
For Aiden’s part he wasn’t sure what to think of this beautiful woman, but he did know he wanted to spend time with her, but it’s really bad timing for him, but hey, when offered the opportunity with no expectations, any hot blooded man would definitely be on board especially when there’s a mutual attraction….
Both of them are headed to Vegas, Savvy for her 5 year high school reunion and Aiden, well, he’s on a mission and when Savvy finds out what’s going on, she’s totally on board to help him. Of course, they’re combustible when they’re getting it on; so much so, that neither wants it to end. But, there’s a few roadblocks in their way and this is why I loved this book and this author so much.
Ms. Rowe, has written this story in such a way that you can’t help but love these two. I was rooting for them from the first time they met and when they come up with a plan to knock these roadblocks out of the way, watch out cuz they’re ON FIRE!!!
There’s a cast of secondary characters that in and of themselves had me laughing or rolling my eyes whichever was appropriate at the time. And there’s a couple of surprises for us too, which had me fist pumping in my living room.
Ultimately, what this book really comes down to, is finding the person that, while you may not think you’re worthy of them, listening to your heart and acquiescing to what it wants leads to finding the love of your life…
There’s so much to this story that will capture you heart, mind and soul, but I’m definitely not giving anything away because you need to experience this love story for yourself.

This funny, sweet, sexy-as-all-get-out story of love gone wrong and overcoming adversity (in whichever form it takes) had me laughing, swooning and fanning myself at various times. The banter and Lauren Rowe's signature writing style hooked me from the start, giving me everything I have come to expect from her.
Savvy and Aiden are VERY different, one might go so far as to say they are "opposites" who have come together in "the perfect storm" of circumstances for each of them, making for some hilarious, heart-melting and sometimes downright dangerous events all wrapped up in a feel-good romance that satisfied my soul! AND can we talk about the SIZZLING chemistry and SUPER HAWT sex scenes??!! Enough said!
Once again, Ms. Rowe has managed to make me fall in love with her quirky, lovable characters! They are so well written, their back-stories are so believable and the ebb and flow of her writing seems so effortless, before you know it you've come to the end and after a heart-felt sigh you realize that THIS author is a MASTER story-teller of EPIC proportions! ANOTHER must-read from one of my TOP FAVE authors that will not disappoint!

Wagering on Love
Lauren Rowe you are my hero. I was so excited to finally read another one of your Misadventure stories. Savvy Valentine's character is so down to earth and I am in awe of how she is so smart, courageous and goes after what she wants. I wish I had her fearless, daring and bold personality.
Aiden is her fresh start. He is a gorgeous man on a motorcycle and has a questionable past. He has many layers and Savvy wants to pick through them one by one. After Savvy gets sucker punched with a chain of horrendous events, she picks herself up and brushes off. She takes a chance with this mysterious stranger. The more she gets to know Aiden, the further she falls for him. Lauren you definitely hit the jackpot with this sexy, funny and enchanting story.
