He's found her... The Light Priestess stands in a room atop a fortress. Guards surround the installation. Gemini has authored a scheme, but even if he manages to snag her from the grasp of the governor's men, he will have to guide his party into one of the most dangerous regions on the continent to keep from being followed. A place drained of life by demonic blight with black shards of glassy sand and the home of a long-dead elven city. The Plague Barrens.
The Plague Barrens is book three of the Enora Online Series.

Likely not going to read book 4 even if it is on KU. The MC is too dumb. The fight scenes are very repetitive. And the supporting characters lack definition. Not to mention that after 3 books we are only 10 days into this story.
The MC is a pushover and total idiot. Supporting characters walk all over him, and we barely tolerate him just because the story is told from his perspective. I strongly see a whole lot of bias and this dilutes the story writing.
Dialog became cheesy and the plot/battles were rather meh
Disappointed with this book. Series started out decently but became progressively worse. The interactions are forced and do not flow well. Plot line was very simplistic and uninspired. Hard pass at this point.
As Gemini’s team coalesces into an adventuring party, his true mission reveals itself
Gemini was sent in blind to a living world unlike any game world in VR that he’d ever played. Only now is he beginning to fathom the new truths of his virtual second life, his luck may be more method than random.
The team grows into their roles by the end of this adventure arc and we learn more of Enora and the real truth that NPCs are not what players would expect or think. Companions and pets have their own thoughts, desires, and motives; never forget that they have a depth never before seen in a game and woe be the player who forgets it.
Adventures await in this undiscovered world for those of good or ill will and Gemini has entered the ruins of the last player to enter this world 2 millennia ago. The only question is whether Gemini will stop resisting the guidance or begin to truly learn of his new world’s history, politics, rules, skills and classes! Oh and the governor won’t be stopping his quest for revenge anytime soon, but will the king step in to help?
I’ve just spent a massive chunk of time addictively reading through the first two boxsets of the Enora Online series. Gotta live Kindle Unlimited as happily they’re available on KU. This stuff is freakin’ awesome and ridiculously addictive. It does just what great LitRPG is supposed to do, set up a logical excuse for how the character gets totally immersed into a virtual reality RPG world and then provide a fantastic adventure for that character which somehow logically provides RPG mechanics (the whole set of skills, advantages, ranking up etc.) in a way that totally works with the storyline. These stories, each of which ends in a totally satisfying “Happily Enough for Now” until the perfect HEA at the end of the last book in the 2nd boxset, were simply perfect. Perfect lead and supporting characters, all perfectly crafted, perfect world building, perfect storylines and perfect overall multi-book story arc. I more than highly recommend all of the books here, though it’s best to start with book 1 for maximum enjoyment.
What, exactly, can Gemini do to prepare the world for the arrival of more Shenhua? I can understand the desire to balance past wrongs done by other players, but how can his presence and actions today impact the choices that players may make in the future? Will Enora limit their roles based on his decisions? Will he simply become powerful enough to police his people when they come?
I like how Gemini is adapting to his new reality. He is accepting that his old life is forever out of reach and that Enora is his new home. He is also realizing that immortality brings the responsibility that if he wants to be secure in his new home, he must secure his own peace.
This book was something of a disappointment to me. I felt that the depiction of the relationships between the characters it didn't ring true themselves. there were times when the actions seemed forced and didn't flow like they should have. Given all that, I still think the series has enough promise that I'm going to read the next book.
So, we have a priestess to save, and then an escape, you guessed it, into the region known as the Plague Barens. This episode also has a dungeon, filled with various demons, all the better to raise those pesky levels, at each encounter. Yes, lots of drama, blood guts and gore, but it's so much fun!!!
Another good read and finally a well rounded ending. Good guys safe story at a good stopping point and a few plot lines ready for future development.
I have one issue with this book though. We had an apprentice, journeyman and adept wood worker in the middle of a forest and nobody can fix a wagon wheel...
Yes yes, another great book. What, you want a cookie? Where is book 4? Did you think about how much it will suck waiting a year? Lol. Love it so far. Please don't start another series. Finish 7 book for this one
Ive really enjoyed the story. By the end of the first book I was worried it was going to turn into a harem. By the second book, I was still holding out hope. Now it's confirmed. The story is great if you can get past the harem garbage.
I like elements of this series but the harem angle always gets me. Makes me feel like a teenager or a nonsexed adult is writing the book. Just comes across as awkward. Without these elements I would love this series.
Our team grows stronger and stronger as we gain more friends. The challenges are getting harder and harder, but in the end, we kick ass. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the next book in this series.
I have been disappointed yet again. The focus on what is game mechanics and what is real world is off. The main character is foolish and does not come off as a gamer. The direction and side characters are forced and feel flat.
Another exciting addition to the story, not as fast paced as other stories but it's entertaining, solid, and full of great character, plot, and substance. Keep up the great work!
I recommend this book to all of you fans of litrpg . It fits the bill, you have an awesome ongoing story, great characters, and every once in while a tricky twist. Read it, you'll love it.😎
The adventure continues with some dungeon diving. I’m happy that the story is progressing and our MC is finally getting some schooling. Looking forward to book 4
I keep seeing book 2 when I download to read book 3
Amazing series beautifully portrayed and engaging experience very well written but I keep seeing book 2 after I have downloaded book 3 going to have to get Amazon support to fix the problem. One of the best books I've read this year in the first 2 books really trying to get book 3 but I see book 2 every time it loads book 3.. Keep the amazing series going..
