Sins of the Flesh has everything I love about romantic suspense but then we also get a sexy cowboy to boot? Yee-haw! (yes, that was corny as hell... don't take my reviewer card away, please)

I loved the chemistry and banter between Sin and Hunter, our main characters. There was depth to them and they definitely had their flaws. (**cough**SinIsStubbornAsHell**cough**)

Saying yes. Wanting him. She knew it was stupid, but something about him being near made the intelligent part of her consciousness shut down. All that was left were primal urges that she needed Hunter to satisfy.

The plot kept me interested and kept me guessing. I thought I knew, but it turns out there's more than meets the eye. THAT TWIST, THOUGH! The pacing was on point and the writing was good. The secondary characters were used well to move the story forward. I am REALLY digging on Honey and Cap and can't wait to see what the author does with the rest of the Crow's Nest crew. There's a ton of potential there. Absolutely great debut novel.

Grabbing her hip with one hand, he slid his other behind her neck and pulled her close. His lips covered hers, finally tasting that sweetness that belonged only to her.

Sins of the Flesh was a story that I thought was going to be something that was totally different, and I didn't see it coming. At first, it took me a bit to get into it, but once I got past a certain point, boy I couldn't put it down to save my life as I was turning the pages so fast that there were times that I would have to go back and reread them again. It starts out with Sin getting some letters that she doesn't take seriously, and then almost getting kidnapped in the parking of her tattoo shop. Her friend hires Hunter to be her personal bodyguard, and she's not happy about it when he shows up. Hunter is ex-military who isn't happy with this assignment either, but he has some demons that has landed him in some hot water with his employer. Thus starts the journey of Sin & Hunter. The push & pull of them drove me crazy for a while, especially since they had crazy chemistry, which was apparent in their interactions that were entertaining. It took a bit, but they finally lit things on fire with some HOT sexy times, and I wanted to give a standing ovation by that point. Next up is the cast of secondaries who almost stole the show for me, as they were highly entertaining while adding more depth, and I pray that some of them get their own stories. My last talking point was the twists, which were so crazy that I never saw the finale coming, so my f-bombs were insane leading up to my colorful metaphor finale at the top of my lungs. So bravo Natasha Raulerson on your debut, as I'm excited for more from you in the future, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This was a pretty good read, my first from this author. It was about Cindy, better known as Sin, and Hunter. She's a tattoo artist who has a stalker and Hunter is hired to protect her.

I really enjoyed Sin. She's a tough, independent chick. And Hunter is ex military with a rough past.

They were back and forth for a little while but once together, they were quite steamy. The story line was pretty good. There were a few moments that seemed slow to me, but when things got going, they went! The ending.... very surprising! But in a really good way that you won't see coming.

This was a promising story. The author did a good job, it was well paced and the writing was decent. But, there were too many typos and grammatical errors. By the time I got to 11% of the book I think I had highlighted six errors.

The author needs to get an editor/proofreader. If she has one then she needs to find a better one. I’m not trying to be cruel but running into errors this frequently really does interfere with the enjoyment of reading a book. It’s clear that this author has a lot of talent so I would think she would want a clean copy without those small distracting errors.

I look forward to reading her next book.

This is an amazing story that I just loved. I have been in a reading mood of romances for some reason. I have taken a break from my other reading because it was getting to be to much of the same but I have read a few romance books that have really gotten to me and this is one of them. I felt like I was right there in this story waiting to see what happened next and when I thought I had it all figured out I was wrong and started laughing at the end when I found out who the stalker was because I would have never thought it to be that person.

Sin is a tattoo artist who owns her own tattoo shop. She is very successful and enjoys her work. Then one day she gets a threatening letter and she thinks it's a joke but then she starts to get more and realizes that someone is after her. Her friend is worried about her so she hires a body guard for Sin and she is not to happy about that because she does not need a baby sitter and she definitely does not need this hot arse alpha broody man watching her.

Hunter is no joke and takes his job very seriously. He is determined to keep Sin safe and let nothing happen to her or her shop. But what happens when their chemistry ignites and they can't fight the feelings they have for one another?

I was never quite sure what to expect next when reading 'Sins of the Flesh' by Natasha Raulerson. She includes a little bit of everything and a whole lot of 'something' in this story.

There's drama, suspense, a strong female character, and a hunky, hawt ex-military male who has all the sexy Greek God appeal you'd hope for, yet he remains a gentlemen at all times.

I don't want to take a chance and imply anything in my review that will ruin the story for you, so... get yourself deep into this story and I believe you will forget whether you are looking for a sexy love interest, a murderer, a sweetheart or a dominant female savior.

Get ready, Natasha Raulerson will treat you with the utmost care by pulling you to the edge of your seat and holding you there until... well, you'll find out. Enjoy the book!

Hot damn that’s one steamy thriller!

I loved everything about this book, right down to the twistS at the end. Character AND plot driven, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through, either from the suspense as the stalker closes in or from the sexual tension that finally gets the release it deserves. Again and again. I can’t wait for the next Crow’s Nest book!

My oh my this was so darn good ! Didn’t even take a break with this one. Military guy and cowboy boots? Heck yes ! Hunter is total book boyfriend material, so naturally I swooned. Dont get me wrong, Sin is hilarious and a bad ass in her own right, too. Chemistry was hot! But the side characters took it to another level! Cant wait for more Honey !!! - a must read !

My very first read by Natasha Raulerson and holy smokes did I enjoy it. This enemies-to-lovers romance with a lot of animosity and even more steam. The opening of Sins of the Flesh was a bit creepy but definitely grabbed my attention. And the creep factor didn't dwindle as I read, it only grew...

Sin and Hunter were both very strong willed and hot tempered. Both forced into a situation they don't want to be in. Both battling the demons of their past that won't let them go. They were both so brash and standoffish towards each other that it was only a matter of time before all that energy exploded. And did it ever...

But as the threats against Sin keep escalating the back and forth between her and Hunter about drove me out of my mind. His need to protect her, her need to protect her heart warred with both they both wanted.

I had so many theories of whodunit running through my head that I knew, I just knew there was more coming. Sheesh. That ending was totally unexpected. My heart was racing and I was reading as fast as my eyeballs would let me to see what would happen. WOWZA! I did not see that twist coming at all! Talk about unexpected. Hats off to Natasha Raulerson for making Sins of the Flesh dark and twisted and dangerous. Hunter and Sin's story was as pulse pounding as it was steamy. And I'm looking forward to more of this interesting team of characters in the future.

The suspense of this story! There are twists that I totally didn’t see coming and was kept on the edge of my chair the entire time. At first I thought the story started pretty abruptly, as the book starts with Sin’s attempted kidnapping by her stalker, but by the end I was totally ok with it because it all made sense. After the attempted kidnapping, Sin’s friend hires Hunter to be a personal bodyguard in order to ensure her safety as the stalker continues to escalate by killing those who get tattoos by Sin. I really loved the characters of Hunter and Sin. Their background and insight as to why they are in the positions they are in help define them and provide understanding to their attraction to one another. The ending threw me because while I thought it was one person, it ended up being totally different and caught me off guard! A truly suspenseful storyline with a touch of romance, I can’t wait for the next installment in this series (hoping it’s Cap and Honey!)!

Sin has earned her place in the tattoo world. She has gotten a few anonymous letters that are starting to creep her out. When she is attacked in the parking lot in the middle of the night her friend hires a bodyguard. Hunter is former military and is working as a mechanic at The Crow’s Nest. Cap, the owner, keeps his guys busy with a variety of side jobs. Hunter and Sin butt heads right from the start. Can he keep her safe long enough to see if they can find peace in each other?

This was my first read by Natasha Raulerson but what a great introduction. This had a great mix of romance and suspense. The author did an amazing job of weaving a mystery. I was right up to point of finding out who was after Sin and still guessing. Loved the banter between Sin and Hunter. Hoping some of the secondary characters get their own stories too.

Cindy / Sin has been receiving threatening letters, and realize her life is in danger. Hunter is a veteran army ranger who is hired to be Cindy’s bodyguard. The chemistry between these two is intense, and the witty banter is humorous. This is a beautifully written story which is filled with twists, danger, suspense, and love. I was totally hooked and intrigued throughout, and this is certainly a talented author to look out for in the future. I recommend this novel for all.

Bless my heart! Sexy military man and hot tattoo artist come together in this suspense filled romance.

Sin has a stalker and Hunter is the man brought in to protect her. The moment they meet explosions go off. Not just fireworks but full on bombs! Their chemistry is off the charts!

Hunter has some demons and Sin does as well. They are both hard headed which adds more tension to an already stressful situation.

This book was great and filled with a healthy blend of suspense and romance!

This was a great romance suspense. Sin was fierce, trying to deal with the errors of her parents and the horrible way they impacted her life, trust issues and self isolation abound in her life. Hunter has his own issues to deal with, but babysitting Sin turns out to be more than either expected. Full of danger, suspense, and surprising twists, this fast paced novel will hold you til the last page.

I liked this book, I really did but I have to give it 3.5 stars. I loved Hunter, he tried to resist his feelings but just couldn't. I didn't like when he pushed her away without explaining but yeah. And Sin, I liked her and her attitude, but sometimes it was too much. She treated him bad half the time, it wasn't fair, always pushing him away, and I understand what she went through but she uses that as an excuse, and that I can't forget. I liked them as a couple and the whole mystery thing is awesome, I had suspicions, some panned out some didn't, and that's how I like it

Sins Of The Flesh (Crow’s Nest #1) packs quite the punch! And there’s nothing like a psycho stalker to bring two people together. Hunter and Sin were the most unlikely couple however, there was something about them that really drew me in. This was a great romantic suspense book that kept me on edge and the twist towards the end really shocked me. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Excerpt:

She walked into the living room, the cool AC making goosebumps spread over her body. When she stopped in front of Hunter, his gaze went from her feet, moving at a slow pace up her thighs, to her hips, over the towel, lingering on her chest before moving up to her face. It felt like a caress, like he saw deeper into her, more than just the physical.

“What are you doing?” The lust in his voice was unmistakable.

Straddling him, Sin slid her hands around his neck, and kissed him. The tension in his body melted away as he gripped her hips, pulling her closer. The press of his erection against her made Sin want to ditch the towel and unzip his jeans. He took control, pacing the kiss, his tongue licking her lips as he thrust against her. She groaned and he sucked in a breath, breaking the kiss.

“Goddamn,” he rested his head on her shoulder.

She ran her hands through his short hair, the feeling slightly course against her palms. “Don’t stop.”

“This is a bad idea.”

“Doesn’t have to be. As long as we both know what it is.”

Just like everyone else, Sin didn’t plan on letting it get far. She didn’t do relationships. Even as something in her chest tightened at the thought of Hunter being with someone else, she denied the implication of caring about him. The jealousy earlier had just been because they were tattoo-girl wannabes. They got their ink to be in the hype, not as an art. Not because it was their passion. Hunter might get on her nerves, but he deserved better than that. Better than Sin too—but tonight, she just wanted to get lost in the lust.

“What is it then?”

“Sex.” She shrugged, still playing with his hair. “Two consenting adults, enjoying a night of passion, of orgasms, and screaming. No shame in the morning. No strings. Just fun tonight and tomorrow we go our separate ways.”

He smirked. “I still have to protect you.”

“Can you keep it from being awkward?”

Please say yes.

If he said no, she’d break away. Her body screamed at her not to, but Sin had toys that could take the edge of. Toys, as much fun as they could be, didn’t replace the feel of a person. Of a heartbeat, of someone screaming her name.

“You sure about this?” he asked.

Her body was thrumming with need, with wanting, and somehow, she knew that cowboy act of his would drive her wild in the bedroom. Sin needed a release, and she could tell by his throbbing cock that Hunter wanted her just as much.

“As long as you don’t get attached after tonight,” she gave him an impish grin. “Then hell yes.”

(4 stars)

Sin is the owner of Masters of Ink tattoo shop, and also a highly sought out tattooist. When someone decides that they like Sin's work just a little too much and start to stalk her, at first Sin isn't too concerned. The moment the stalker upped his game and decided to take a more direct approach is when she started to get worried. When Hunter is brought in as her bodyguard, at first Sin is reluctant to accept his help. When the stalker once again amps up his game, Sin stops fighting Hunter's help. For Hunter this was more of a punishment, but that doesn't mean he isn't going to take his job seriously. Finding out who is terrorizing Sin and keeping her safe are his priorities. What happens when he starts to look at Sin as something a tad bit more than just a client that needs help? Will the two cross a line that will impact the whole situation?

The twists and turns that you don't see coming, took this read from ok to really good. There were certain points where it lagged a bit, but then the action kicked in and grabbed your attention. At one point I was more interested in the side characters than I was the main ones, so I can say I am excited to see what comes next in this series. I give this 4 stars.

Good story but needs some proofreading or something

I really liked the story. The suspense, the lust/love, all of the characters. (I’d like to learn what’s going on with Noah and to read a Honey/Cap story.) What made me give this three stars was grammar/spelling/ continuity errors. It should be went farther, not father. It’s all intents and purposes, not all intensive purposes. For 99% of the book a character’s name is Mina, then on one page it’s Mira. Regardless of all that, if the author wrote more books in this series I’d check them out.

Sin is a strong woman and like us all she a past. She also has a stalker.
Hunter is hired as her bodyguard, he is ex military and suffers from PTSD issues.
They strike sparks off each other, they know they shouldn't but.
They are great characters and so are their friends.
This story appears to be straight forward, but watch out there is more than meets the eye.

I liked the plot twists. However, all of the pushing away was depressing at first. Finally the main characters worked together to solve some of the issues. My only complaint was the less than educated vernacular used by Hunter. Otherwise I was engaged throughout Nice one Ms. Raulerson. Can’t wait for Cap’s story.

Oooo… I enjoyed the hell out of this book. There were so many things done well with Sins of the Flesh that I read it almost one shot.

The plot was wonderfully crafted and I spent much of that book wondering who was sending Sin those horrifying notes. There was a great balance between the budding relationship, and the suspense. I appreciated that the author had the foresight to give out information in bits and pieces so it left the reader wanting more. And the ending? Holy crap! I did not expect that. Then there’s Sin and Hunter. What fantastic chemistry.

I have to admit there were moments I wanted to reach into the pages and shake her (damn stubborn, stubborn woman), but despite times of frustration, there was something about her character I just really, really loved. Her strength was admirable and her reactions felt honest in regards to the trauma she suffered as a child. With Hunter, it’s clear he is also has demons in his past and I quite liked that he was an Alpha, but wasn’t one who ‘demanded’ Sin be him. They’re both damaged, but not broken, and it was great to see how they helped each other heal.

Overall, a thoroughly engaging and fast-paced suspense that had me turning page after page. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series (and anxiously waiting for Honey & Cap!). Thank you Voracious Readers and Natasha Raulerson for my copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I liked the story but knocked off a star due to the amount of errors that should have been caught by an editor. I also had a couple issues with consistency in storyline. For example, did Hunter do a tour in Iraq or Afghanistan?

All that aside, there were some unique circumstances regarding Cindy "Sin" Masters and her background. She pushed people away because those who loved her tried to hurt her. Hunter did not allow people to get close because he felt he did not deserve love. Two damaged people are put together and inevitably, they realize that love is not just one thing.

What an incredible book! Such a good thriller and it has so many twists so it definitely keeps you on your toes! I am excited to read more of this world! The Crow’s Nest sounds a like the place I would love to be near 😉. Hunter is a very closed off, quick tempered man with a lot of softness buried down deep ! Sin is a badass woman who can handle herself and keeps a very tight hold on her emotions and heart. Their story takes you through all of their pain and realizations! It’s a very fun and deep journey. The banter is hilarious. The other characters are just as amazing. A new author to me, but I will definitely be reading more!! @natasharaulerson #hunter #sin #cap #tattoo #hot #sexy #thriller
