He lost it all...and then he found her.

Fate hasn't been kind to Trina Edgecomb. When her fated mate died on their honeymoon, she was left to face a long and bleak life utterly alone. Of course, as the healer to a very rambunctious wolf pack, she's never truly alone, but nothing will ever ease her crushing solitude.

Rogue wolf Max Kincaid has only one To bring down the developer who destroyed his pack and his life. He's tracked the man to the small town of Tremble, Georgia, and he's just waiting for his moment to strike. Except, before he can fulfill his destiny, he's ambushed in the woods and left to die.

When Trina finds Max on death's doorstep, a spark she thought was long dead stirs to life and she realizes that she's somehow found her fated mate. How was it even possible to have two in a lifetime? But the bigger question is whether a rogue wolf can integrate into an established pack. That's assuming the Soren pack alpha won't banish him on sight.

Contains mature themes.

Well with such a fierce title I just knew the author would offer something more primal than usual and I wasn't disappointed . I'd call this a case of Tarzan snatching up his Jane because from the first meeting Max is determined to claim Trina ! However things aren't really that easy because even though the couple recognise each other as fated Mates Max really isn't exactly in any position to get too physical. No gun shot wounds take time to heal even on an Alpha wolf and with Trinas past hurts this romance has a way to go !
I'm enjoying the continuation of the developer storyline and it was a joy to find out how the Pack was developing. It was easy to like Trina although I didn't envy her Max because I suspect he will always be a little bossy. What truly made me smile were the smallest Pack members and whether on two or four legs they added greatly to my enjoyment of this story. Plus I loved that the pen could be mightier than the sword !
This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair.

I love CK’s work, but I hate hate hate instant trust and forgiveness after one party screws up and hurts the other. He hurts her badly for nothing, it would have taken him two seconds to say he’d be back. No other words were needed, instead he made her think he’d abandoned her.... and it took one point zero seconds for her to forgive him and of course instantly trust him again....no, just no. It’s lazy writing, if you’re going to spend five pages on a sex scene you can spend a little more on working through an emotional one.

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
It was a great book!
Trina lost her fated mate on their honeymoon.
Talk about having a really bad day.
Max, a rogue wolf, was on a mission.
Finding his mate along the way was just a coincidence.
Loved the characters + the storytelling!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I have to give the author kudos for her ability to stretch a single sex scene into two scenes that are both ten pages long. That takes a certain skill. Alas, I'm not enjoying these stories.

Are You Lonely Tonight......

In Tremble, Georgia the Soren Pack is fighting a legal battle to stop a money hungry human from bulldozing their land for development, they will soon discover they are not the first pack to feel the rumble of bulldozers.

Max is a lone wolf trying to get justice for his torn apart pack. Trina is a healer for her pack. They meet because Max has been shot by a land developer who is trying to take over Trina’s packs woods. Good, good, good! This was a good book! Read it in one sitting! Totally recommend!

If you've been following my reviews then you know how much I really enjoy books by Celia Kyle. May she be writing alone or with others. The Real Men Shift series is one that I've enjoyed.

Like the previous books I really enjoyed Real Men Claim. You are happy that Trina is able to find the one person she's supposed to be with after her heartbreak. Before Max came into her life she was sad and alone in a world of so many.

Max has a past that would make anyone sad. He has lost his pack and will do anything to make those responsible be punished. What with all he's been through I don't think finding his fated mate was something he thought was in the cards for him.

You won't be able to not feel for these two people. Both have sad pasts but the future can be so much better only if everything can be worked out. Trina worries that her pack won't be able to accept Max and Max can't seem to get out of his pain to help himself.

Such a great story. One that pulls you in and keeps you there. By the end of the story, you can't wait for the next one. Like with many shifter stories, they fall hard and fast for each other and become a unit almost from the beginning. With any other type of book this wouldn't have worked and you couldn't trust their feelings but with shifters, it's kind of a given. Plus with the shorter page count, the authors have to make everything happen faster but still give you a good story. I think it happened here.

This is an OK shifter romance, but it was just a bit too short to have enough character development. I would have liked more backstory on both Max and Trina.

I really liked both Max and Trina, but thought that Trina would have been a little more hesitant to accept a lone wolf as her mate -- she would have worried that his time alone would have damaged him, since lone wolves often go feral. I also think that her pack leader would have been a little more hesitant for him to join their pack. Other than that, I thought Max and Trina were good together.

Overall, it was a quick, mildly entertaining read. It does feature instalove, but that is typical in shifter romances. If you are looking for a quick shifter read, with some steamy scenes, this is a good choice.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

The healer finds a second chance at love in a rogue who lost his pack

Trina Edgecomb, has been in morning for almost a decade. She found her mate, Dean, when they were pups. At 18 they were mated. Dean tragically lost his life in an accident on their honeymoon. While her brother Warren, pushes her to date, she had perfect, how do you settle after that. Trina spends her time caring for her pack, paying special attention to the pup.

Maxwell Kincaid is sort of a lone wolf, his family spread out. He is the son of an alpha. His pack destroyed and lands taken by Dick McNish. It is family's fault Dick learned the secret of wolf packs. McNish has been targeting packs ever since. Max has dedicated his live to bringing down McNish. Caught in a trap he is critically injured.

Trina finds a critically injured wolf near her cabin. Her wolf takes notice. Max confirms what her wolf already knew, they are mates.

McNish is becoming bolder. He has hunters, working as surveyors infringing on pack lands. The pack is in danger. Even the littlest targeted. Max has a plan the just may put a stop McNish.

Fast paced, a little steamy. Loved Trina and Max. The story ends in a little cliffhanger, as McNish is still a threat. Looking forward to the next book. Hoping Warren will be next in finding his mate. Maybe in the reporter friend of Max's or the funny named protester.

This is Max and Trina's story . Wow this one will take you with the first page and lead you have on one heck of a great story ! Trina just knows that since her fated mated died nine years ago that for her , having happiness and a family is over . Max means to have his revenge against the so called human man that took his father and pack from him . In Wolf Woods look out wolves hunters are hunting ! Max , in wolf form , rushes head first into a trap and is now dying from the gun shot . Catching a scent his wolf wants to find it . Trina is enjoying her morning drinking her tea on the porch while watching the kids tumbling out of the forest to catch the school van . Realizing that one , her favorite cub , is not there Trina figures she will have to go check on him at his home since he was such a sick little cub at the beginning of his young life when she sees him bursting out from the woods looking scared to death !! I swear I fell so much for this story that I could keep going but since I never give spoilers READ THIS ONE !! Well written and strongly recommended to all !!

I really enjoyed this story! It was a fantastic read! I loved the way that this story picked up where the last one left off and filled in blanks at the same time. This story pulled me in from beginning to end. I loved getting Trina's story while also learning about the rogue lone wolf. Max has not had it easy and he is trying to help out though not in the way you would necessarily expect, though understandable with his history. I liked the angle that this story took dealing with Dick McNish. We get to learn more about everything that's going on. There is plenty of action and intrigue in this story as well as Trina and Max trying to figure things out. They know they are fated mates right away, but with everything going on and Max being injured, nothing is simple. I have really enjoyed this series and while this can probably be read as a standalone story it does connect with the previous book pretty strongly as we are dealing with the same bad guy. I'm super excited to read the next book and find out what happens.

Real Men Claim is a great story that makes you want to come back for more! Trina, the Soren Pack Healer, and Max, a lone wolf, come together is a story of intrigue, fear, and uncertainty.

Trina, lost everything once. She has resigned herself to just being content with where her life is now. However the fates have a different story in mind. Max is a lone wolf with a past that plagues him.

Can Trina and Max work through their pasts before another danger that is threatening the Soren pacl takes hold?!

I absolutely love this book! Celia Kyle gives us just the right amount of balance of intrigue, suspense, romance. The plot line is never dull. I am not sure how I feel about the cliffhanger in the end. It definitely wants to make me read the next one! Celia Kyle does a great job of crafting the characters so that you connect with their stories on an intimate level! I would highly recommend the entire Real Men Series!

Trina is the Soren Pack healer and had lost her fated mate on her honeymoon and for shifters that means you only get one so she had decided that was it for her no partner or children in her future. But it seems fate has thrown in Max Kincard a rogue wolf who is after McNish the land developer currently trying to bulldoze Wolf Woods which borders the Soren's pack lands. Max has ended up wounded and near death from being shot by hunters employed by McNish and he has made it far enough to Trina's place driven by some instinct to find her. Trina is in shock Max is her fated mate and this time she will do all in her power to save him. McNish is not just after Wolf Woods now it will take all of the pack working together including Max to find a way to stop him before they loose everything. Thank you to Celia Kyle and Marina Maddix for the action packed and romantic review copy. Love this series.

Trina had a mate 9yrs ago. Fated mates only happen once but something is different. When an injured and near dead wolf drops in front of her cabin she knows that she is being given a second chance. Max hates the hunters and wants to tear them all apart. But he makes a fatal mistake and ends up near dead at Trina’s door. But she is no ordinary wolf. She is his fated mate.

I love when we get to experience a second chance at love. Yeah for Trina. She deserves it. She loves kids and doesn’t deserve to be alone. Max needed a home and a pack which is what he found in the Soren pack. And what is the deal with Cassandra the Omega. She is so ….. odd. She has this “power” that can’t be explained. For a second I thought she scared Max away. You also have to love Little Hux. How cute is he. He may be the runt of the litter, he is still cute. We find out a great deal about McNish and his scum ways. He is evil man and his crew needed to be taken down a peg. But the adventure isn’t over yet.

Looking forward to 7

By Celia Kyle
The local wolf pack has been dealing with two problems: a rogue wolf running in their area and a sleazy developer trying to take their land.
Trina had her happily ever after but that ended on her honeymoon with her tragic accident taking the life of her fated mate. She has been lonely well as lonely as someone can be in a pack of wolves.
Max is on a mission to bring down the developer who destroyed his pack and his life. Being a rogue wolf is hard but he had to stop Dick McNish somehow and this was the only way.
When the rogue wolf ended up in her clinic after being shot Trina couldn't believe he was her fated mate.
I enjoyed this book. It was great to have the pack kids back in the book gives the reader more of a look into "pack" life. Little Hux was a heart stealer just like Charlie from books 1-3. Looking forward to reading book 7 when it comes out!

Working his way up the chain, togue wolf Maxwell Kincaid is sure he’s finally gotten close enough to take down his prey, hunters. They’re minions of contractor Dick McNish, the human responsible for his former pack’s death, including his father. But Max was so focused on the more vicious of the hunters, he doesn’t see the others until he’s shot.

Finding a wolf near death in the woods outside her home, pack healer Trina Edgecombe scurries to help him and is shocked to feel a true mate reaction so him, she’d lost her true, almost a decade ago. And, whoever heard of having two fated mates! Trina’s an emotional wreck, struggling to help Max heal, laying memories of her first mate to rest and accepting her second.

Meanwhile, the pack, the ruling circle and an environmental group focus on Dick McNish’s dirty deeds and tricks of the past to make a plan to ensure Dick can’t use them now to succeed.

This dynamic author duo has done it again. Two wolves who are somewhat broken by their pasts are brought together. Trina the pack healer is still mourning her mate Dean, resigning herself to never having a family of her own. Max a lone wolf is shot by hunters working or Dick McNish the developer out to steal Soren pack land. Max looking for a nice spot to die is drawn to Trina's cabin.

Thus begins a healing path for two fated mates. i love reading the angst drama, romance, passion and even mystery of this series but I gotta tell you if you don't like cliff hangars then this particular story is not for you because this one is a humdinger if you ask me. And that makes me anxiously awaiting the next in this series.

i voluntarily read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this opinion.

Whilst Max is all set for claiming Trina, he's going to work his tush off!!

Max is off to a rocky start with the Soren Pack. A misunderstanding with a pup, turning up on the healers doorstep worse for wear and being a bit too enigmatic! Trina is no wallflower. She may be a healer but she is perfectly capable of ripping into anyone who harms her pack, especially the pups!

And although they both recognise their status with each other, Trina has already had a fated mate and Max doesn't exactly have a tight hold on his emotions. Not exactly a perfect pairing with these two, Max is going to be very much the "Tarzan" type but Trina is more than capable of calming him down, if need be by using a tranq!

The pups, especially little Hux, almost steal the show. Just as we think we might have seen off big bad, more menace is unleashed! Looking forward to the next in the series!

Another great book in the Real Men series. Trina is the healer of the Soren Pack. She met and married her fated mate several years ago. When he died on their honeymoon, she is doomed to live without that feeling that she belongs. One evening, Trina catches the smell of a male wolf. She finds him shot, takes him home and begins healing him. No one knew that there could be two fated wolves in one life time, but it appears Trina has found another one. Max is a lone wolf, after most of his pack is killed by the man he was hunting when he got shot.  McNish is a wealthy contractor who pays off officials and bullies packs to get their lands. He wants Wolf Woods that belongs to the Soren Pack. Will the Soren Pack accept Max into their pack? Will Trina and Max be mated? There is a bit of a cliffhanger, but I loved the story. I received this book from the author for a honest review.

As the sixth and second-to-last book in the series, *Real Men Claim* carried high expectations, but for me, it didn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessors. While the overall story maintained the charm and humor I've come to love, the romance felt less developed this time around. The build-up between the main characters lacked the spark and tension that usually draws me in.

That said, this installment took a deeper tone compared to the others. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind that—it added a layer of emotional weight that felt different, even if it didn’t resonate with me as much as the earlier books.

The series as a whole continues to be a delight, and I’m still bloody loving it. Marina Maddix and Celia Kyle’s ability to create entertaining characters and intriguing pack dynamics hasn’t wavered, and this book sets the stage well for the final installment.

OMG this was suppppperrrr awesome! I dont know...I think it MIGHT be my favorite. I dont know though they are all great. Trina has been through a lot. Losing her mate on her honeymoon is the worst you can imagine...having the love of your life only for him to be taken away. She's not been able to let herself move on in 9 years. Her brother Warren has tried to get her to see she needs to but she's kinda shutting him out in that regard. Maxwell is a lone wolf and he knows he's losing it a little bit being in his wolf form so much. He's got revenge on the mind but fate happens and he smells her...his mate. Will these 2 be able to move on and let each other in AND help the pack from a devious SOB? You better read and find out!

Another great book in the series. We are almost to the finish of this story arc. I feel like Warren will be meeting his mate soon and it will help end McNish. At least that is way at I think!

Trina has mourned the lose of her mate for 10 long years. She never expected to find another true mate until she found Max lying in her yard bleeding,.

The Soren Pack has been fighting against Dick McNish to protect Wolf Woods and now their own pack lands. Max has experience with McNish and has been waging his own war against him. He will do whatever he can to help his new pack and keep his mate safe.

Fighting for Heart and Home

Trina and Maxwell have faced a lot of loss and grief in their lives. Hopefully it's time for two aching hearts to find peace and love. Dick McNish wants to destroy Wolf Woods to build a development and the Soren Pack's peaceful way of life. Can the Soren Pack do what no other pack has been able to accomplish - stop McNish's destructive plans? As Trina and her second fated mate, Maxwell, grow closer, the fight to save their home continues. There's plenty of action, romance and intrigue in this exciting, standalone book. I'm looking forward to reading the next book about the Soren Pack.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series but I think I got more "involved" in this one. There is one scene in the book, you'll know which one if you read, where I really wanted to hurt somebody. I know you shouldn't wish for bad things to happen to someone, even if they aren't real, but I really wanted lighting to strike or a tree to fall on the bad guys. On the plus side, I adored the relationship that developed between Trina and Maxwell. I can't wait to see what is in store for the Soren Pack and their fight for Wolf Woods.

Trina is the Soren pack's healer. She lost her mate at the young age of 18.
Maxwell is a lone wolf with tons of secrets of his past and his own hate of Dick McNish.

Dick McNish is a human who is trying to take over wolf woods and the Soren pack lands. He is rich and makes sure he has judges and government officials in his payroll. He knows that werewolves are real and because they stay under the human radars they are easy pickings to make money off of.
Love the action , drama, mystery, and more this story has to offer. The characters really pull you in fast in to the story. I couldn't out it down so don't miss it.
Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly love it.
