Honestly this manga just gets better and better with every volume and the art is impeccable

This whole volume was crazy in the best of ways. So much happened, so many back stories, so many questions answered, so many more questions added. I am obsessed with this manga and have now started watching the anime too. On to the next. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow. Talk about a wild emotional ride, huh.
In this volume we know who’s the real identity of Naenia as Chloé finds a way to make her a physical body using the technology her family invented. Turns out, the Church (even in fictional worlds) always blames others for their massacres, so the Beast of Gévaudan was nothing but a victim of the circumstances.
Noé and Vanitas are also trying to stop Chloé from vanishing the town. And Jeanne too is trying to stop Chloé ‘cause it’s her duty but maybe she just doesn’t want to lose another dear friend.
I can say that Chloé and Jean-Jeacques are such a beautiful, precious couple that their possible separation had me in tears. They have nobody but themselves, therefore, I just want them to be happy in their happy place, with no one bothering them. But that may not be possible in the near future (Mochizuki-sensei always tears us apart with her stories), at least until Vanitas and Noé help them come to their senses.
As the previous volume, is packed with action scenes as well as emotional moments that hit you like a mf train. I honestly can’t wait to read the next volume!
This volume contains mémoire 35 – 40.

Despite its length (for a manga) it was really easy and fast to read because of the fighting. i really really like chloé and i wish they would have let themselve take a little bit more time with everything because when there wasnt fighting everything happenend awefully fast (it helped the immersion of chaos and how it was tense but i truly wanted to know more about naenia and chloé bc escpecially the naenia part happenend awefully fast)

I love this manga, it gets better with each volume and the reader discovers new mysteries. This volume was full of great action scenes. I can't wait to see how the entire story is going to end. Additionally, the artwork is wonderful.

risposte. Il mondo di Vanitas è estremamente complesso e ora finalmente stiamo iniziando a capire un po’ come funziona… La storia di Chloe e Jean è dolcissima… Vanitas e Noè mi fanno sempre morire dal ridere. Roland lo adoro. Questo volume vale tutta l’attesa…

Xúc động quá ;_;
Sắp đến hồi kết của Quái thú Gevaudan rồi.
Truyện này hợp gout mình dã man ;_; từ art đến thời gian, bối cảnh, cốt truyện lấy yếu tố liên quan đến khoa học vũ trụ đan xen, các nhân vật lấy cảm hứng từ các tác phẩm kinh điển, có vẻ phức tạp và hổ lốn, nhưng kết hợp quá tuyệt vời ~
Chưa kể tác giả sama còn cho yếu tố romantic vào vô cùng sến sẩm nhưng cảm động, chemistry giữa các nhân vật tràn lan. ;_;

Another great volume!
Jeanne and Chloè’s and Chloè and Jean-Jacques’ backstories are simply beautiful and they make me so warm T-T. Can I embrace them all?
The plot added others questions and questions but we will have all the answer, one day ahahah.
So, basically a perfect mix of drama, fluff, light moments and tears and, obviously, ACTION!
Go on, Vanitas!

Locura de tomo, me ha encantado!!!
Las peleas me han fascinado, los diseños de objetos y escenarios una maravilla, yo ya sentía que en está altura de la historia la mangaka empezaría a revelar que no hay cosas que hace porque sí y que siempre hace cosas con giros inesperados, me encanta.

Man, each volume just keeps getting better and better. Thus, this volume is the latest one I've read so it is by far my favorite volume so far. I will read the next volume (volume 8) very soon...although I may procrastinate since I don't own the ninth or tenth volumes sadly...
Anyway, I really loved a lot of moments in this volume...
Chloe and Jeanne-
I really liked Chloe and Jeanne's friendship in the beginning and how Jeanne couldn't bring herself to kill Chloe, and Chloe tried to sacrifice herself but ultimately decided to seek out revenge thanks to Naenia.
Chloe and Jean-Jacques-
I'm still a little hesitant to "ship" these two romantically since Chloe's age is unclear, but she was referred to as a grandmother before and she's stuck in an eleven-year old's body...so I'm not sure what the age difference between her and Jean-Jacques is...but despite the mysterious age gap between them, I at least can say that I adore their relationship dynamic. I especially loved when Jean-Jacques hugged her and basically told her that he couldn't live without her...
Vanitas and Jeanne-
I'm loving the romantic development between these two...especially when Vanitas brought Jeanne back to her senses and reminded her that he promised he'd kill her if it ever came to that. He brought her back to reality when she was stuck thinking about her past and what happened to her parents...side note here: I know she said she had a mother and father, but is it just me or was the "father" figure actually a woman? I don't know, I just kept wondering because one of them has long hair but the other has shorter hair that looks a bit feminine...but I could be totally wrong and it's just the way the man decided to cut his hair. I don't mean to jump to any conclusions...
Vanitas and Noe-
These two never fail to make me laugh. Almost every scene they're together, Noe does or says something to annoy Vanitas. But my favorite moment in this volume was when Vanitas admitted that he's been nearly killed by vampires before so that's why he was hesitant to tell Vanitas his suspicions about Chloe, and then Noe knocked some sense into Vanitas by literally head-butting him and then telling him, "I believe you".
Vanitas and Dante-
Loved the small explanation on what a "Dham," but I'm curious to learn more about their kind. I know Dante and Johann are dhams, but what exactly is a "dham"? I know Dante referred to himself as a "half-breed," or "half-blood," but what does that mean? Does he mean he's half vampire, half-human? I'm curious to learn more about that, and sadly we got a short glimpse into Dante's past and how he was treated horribly for being a dham, which I'm assuming he was born that way with a vampire mother or father and a human mother or father, I'm assuming. But either way, I'm glad we got a short explanation of it, and how Vanitas said he didn't care what Dante was because he hates all vampires and humans equally.
Naenia and The Bear-
First off, who is this bear character??? I might've missed his name, but what is the point of his character? I guess this is why he wasn't present in the anime...anyway, as for Naenia, the reveal of her being the Queen was quite a shock. Not to me personally since I've watched the anime before this, but it was a good reveal. I'm just curious to know more about her...

No, but really, this Beast arc is so freaking good! Every chapter is fire! And I love how this manga also challenges our views of certain things and puts out morality into question - how can we decide who's right and who's wrong? Vanitas has a lot of issues to sort through, and I'm not saying I completely agree with his worldview, though I think I sympathize with his 'vampires or humans or dhams, they are all merciless and selfish creatures and I hate them all equally' philosophy the most. #badhuman
Besides, it's also very interesting to see how he's slowly forced to reconsider his opinion. He and Jeanne are steadily becoming one of my favourite manga ships - their dynamic is just so good, and there's just something about a tsundere getting all romantic, at last! - and his bromance with Noé... They are still like little kids, but they crack me up so much!!

Por vemos la forma de la maldición, no puedo decir que me sorprendió del todo ya que Vanitas y Lord Ruthven discutieron por la reina, se veía que había algo por ahí. ¿Qué hace ella descubriendo los nombres de los vampiros y llevándolos a la perdición?
La historia de Chloe tratando de destruir a la maldición, solo porque había corrompido a Jean, soy lágrimas.
Que feliz soy al ver a Roland, más mientras abraza a Vanitas y a Noé, diciéndoles que los quiere.
LA HISTORIA DE JEANNE, por Dios, desgarradora, pagando el crímen que supuestamente sus padres hicieron, tengo mis dudas, convirtiéndose en una herramienta para matar, tan precioso el panel de Vanitas sacándola de la oscuridad, tomados de la mano.
Ahora, dibujar tantos libros debió ser difícil.

Otro tomo que se acaba rápido y vertiginosamente porque Vanitas, Noe y Jeanne ahora si que están teniendo problemas con lo que sucede con Chloe y su venganza.
Debo decir que si me ha confundido un poco ese aspecto de Chloe, sin embargo en tan pocos capítulos ella se ha vuelto tan preciada para mi que solo le deseo lo mejor a ella y Jean (okey los shippeo y me encantan sus escenas juntas)
Nuevas revelaciones sobre la reina de los vampiros y personajes secundarios aparecen que me dejan intrigada.
Yo solo quiero saber como, se arreglará todo ese lío y que giro tomará cuando se termine este arco.
Debo decir que si me ha confundido un poco ese aspecto de Chloe, sin embargo en tan pocos capítulos ella se ha vuelto tan preciada para mi que solo le deseo lo mejor a ella y Jean (okey los shippeo y me encantan sus escenas juntas)
Nuevas revelaciones sobre la reina de los vampiros y personajes secundarios aparecen que me dejan intrigada.

This vol was packed with many things to think about. The appearance of new characters, and some old cheery ones. We also discover that Vanitas has many conjectures that would be good if he shared them with the class.
Noe is still a sweetheart, but I'm afraid that he's a ticking bomb waiting for the villain to push that shiny red button soon.
Chloe's story unravels, truths are revealed, and there's a dramatic and charged cliffhanger at the end. Now here I am, counting the days for the release of vol 8.

Sin duda, de los mejores mangas que he leído hasta la fecha ❤️
Este tomo está repleto de acción y descubrimientos... Su final... Omg, se queda muy interesante para el tomo 8🔥
Los personajes increíbles, es que no me pueden gustar más 🧡
Y me muero con la tapa del tomo, lo he buscado a ver si existía y todo porque me moriría de la risa con esa historia 🤭 (por cierto, se complementa genial la historia con la portada de la tapa, así tenemos acción y risas 😻)
Lo recomiendo mucho, de verdad ❤️
Y la espera al tomo 8 se me hará eterna 💔
