I tried. I really did. But this was just not the book for me. And it's purely a case of it's not you, it's me. I struggled from 1% in with the writing style and it was page one that I already knew that it wouldn't be something I could read and appreciate. But I don't dnf books so I pushed on and held out hope that the story would be intriguing enough for me to get over those struggles. That sadly never happened though.
My main struggle with the way this was written was that, for me, scenes were way too descriptive and some things were just overly detailed making the story drag. The start of this was four or so pages of our Hero, Eric, literally just sitting in a room and having inner thoughts about the most random things. There was a whole paragraph on the fact that his grandmother had a butler. And speaking of the grandmother, her name, first and last and once even full name, was said multiple times. It was just too repetitive for me.
"But emergency tea with the de Vries clan matriarch? At ten in the morning? In New York, four hours from his apartment in Boston? Not Eric's modus operandi. Not by a long shot
"Eric. Eric in Chicago. Eric wearing a gorgeous gray linen suit, with a jaw like an ice sculpture and eyes like a storm cloud. Eric Sebastian Franklin Stallsmith de Vries standing in front of my hair salon exactly 984 miles from Boston."
And let's not forget our heroine Jane, and when she ran into Eric where we then had another two pages of her thoughts on Eric, when they saw each other last, their relationship, a too long description on how he looks, and anything else that popped up in her brain. Again, it just felt like too much. Especially when you add in the fact that sometimes the story would then go back in time for a scene that didn't always need to be shown. I'm already not a fan of books that go back and forth from past to present, but this story really bothered me with that since the majority of past scenes were not necessary to the story or the characters. At least not in my opinion.
I also honestly didn't like either character all that well. The reason for the hatred between them felt idiotic on Jane's part since I didn't see how she could be mad at Eric for the reason that caused the big blow up between them. Again, just my opinion on that. Also for Jane I hated how she had nicknames for everyone she met and they were constantly changing. Sounds like a weird complaint but her nicknames came up so much and it started to annoy me. Eric's character I can't say I hated but there was also nothing that I liked about him.
Overall, I think this was a story that I could have really enjoyed but in the end there was too much nonsense for me to have to read through to even get the actual story. And there's another two books for these characters! I can't imagine what else is going to be dragged out to give them another two books. It's not like this one was super short. But like always, I never discourage people from reading a book and I do think that a lot of people who give this one a try will be captivated by Eric and Jane and really enjoy it.

This is a NEW TO ME Author & Books! I was so excited to sign up and receive this ARC! The blurb really drew me in!
What tragedy to learn right of the bat, when Eric goes to visit his grandmother Celeste Annika Van Dusen de Vries (cool name too) for a not so cool grandma! *glaring at her* bu when Eric finds out the initial reason for the visit, he is...rather...shocked. How, when, who, where...is how the thoughts started when his dear grandma tells him the stipulation is to marry, have a wife...the only reason i laugh at this scene is because HAHA rich bachelors and their fear of marriage, so true in any world! Enter Jane Le Lefferts, the one woman who he can see marrying for the show BUT hates his guts!!
After 5 years with the state, Jane is out on her ass, literally. After long years of devotion to her job, she does the first thing any woman who has been restricted look like...goes and changes her hair color to P I N K! Yep, pink, the pepto bismo PINK! And she couldn't be happier. Also helps to not think about the fact that she is out of a job, out of an apartment and with no way to pay her student loans. You'd think being a lawyer, you will always be a lawyer. Not the damn state, nope proved that wrong. I have to just say that JANE is a kick-ass bomb heroine!! be warned, you'll fall in love with her before the hero!!
So much FUN reading this, the banter, the nick names and the SASS form Jane, it's fantastic. BUT not all seems as it is, like i mentioned earlier the secrets...those little pesky things always seem to come out when they don't need to say...ever! All i can say without giving up to much is that THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL book, it's so much more and i have to say...i would definitely re-read it & own a paperback of it!
5 PLUS & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, the book & THE AUTHOR! Her writing style is kick-ass, smooth as a button & energetic..i don't know how else to describe it! Made it to my 2019 TOP MUST READS list!

Since the day Nicole French revealed the blurb for The Hate Vow, I knew this was a must-read. Every post and teaser and excerpt leading up to release only made my anticipation grow. When the book was finally in my grasp, I couldn’t wait to dive in.
The Hate Vow is a complex tale of Eric de Vries and Jane Lee Lefferts and their twenty million dollar deal. I was sucked in by the concept only, but the story is so much more than I’d planned for. Nicole paints a picture so vivid, I lived and got lost in the pages. Her style is explosive and captivating. I was riveted to each scene. The details and descriptions never quit, dripping in luxury and wealth. And the characters? I can’t even handle how exquisite they’re built up.
The Hate Vow was one of my most anticipated reads of 2019. Now it’s one of my all-time favorites. This enthralling journey is truly unforgettable and I cannot wait for more!

Oh. My. Mr De Vries.
Does Nicole French know how to keep you wanting more or what?
This ending has me dying for The Kiss Plot, like all these lose ends and I have no idea what is coming up next.
I'm gobsmacked, as always Nicole French had me captivated and entralled with every story she writes and I'm grateful to have been along this journey with her addictive books since Legally Yours. For that reason, being able to go back to meeting Jane and Eric and getting their story is a pleasure. Just one I wish wouldn't leave me on a cliff hanger.
If you haven't met Jane and Eric before, you need to read Legally Yours where they play secondary characters to Skylar and Brandon's epic love story. It will have you clawing for more and let me tell you The Hate Vow delivers.
The Hate Vow, is exactly what the title says. Eric and Jane are known enemies and lovers, it's just when they started to mix feelings into their already complicated relationship it made things chaotic.
However when Eric needs a hand in this façade of a wedding in order to gain the family fortune his grandmother won't hand willingly his way, this situation becomes a second chance somehow to help both Eric and Jane get another chance. Perhaps to see if stumbling into each others paths could be their saving grace of fixing what they lost five years ago.
Mixed with a lot of heart, emotion and some humour it's another classic novel by Nicole French that will have you anticipating the next turn and twist of events while also making you want to throw your Kindle in frustration at the irrationality of situations; but that's what makes this an amazing read. Being able to feel so much for these two characters even if you haven't known a little of their story from before it has you rooting for their happy ever after, even with the circumstances they are in.
Despite the push and pull Eric and Jane have always had, they can't deny what the utter, clarity of them being together means to them both, so when they finally give in its almost like a breath of fresh air. However with secrets and deception being kept in the crevices from people they least expect it's only about time till their new happiness crumbles around them, but is their love for each other work saving?
That is my dying question, I need to know more and for that reason I will be anticipating for The Kiss Plot, to continue the astounding story that is Eric and Jane.

this book is messing with my peace and i'll be dammed if i let it. the main couple is t o x i c
if ya'll have read 'the flatshare' by Beth O'Leary then do ya'll know the relationship with Tiffy and Justin? (the crazy stalker ex) then ya'll will know this relationship. ...tbh it was even more toxic if possible.
from their // weird // name calling, to his grandma calling her a whore and him making excuse saying "she is old" and shit. like wtf dude?? its the same grandma who you hate cause because of her, your fiancee killed herself. and now you're making excuses?? it doesn't matter old or young, calling someone a whore like that is never okay. especially since the grandma called her so due to she being half Korean. tf??
i could rant for honestly a long, long time BUT not gonna mess with my peace here, ya'll
i hated this one so much that I refuse to even open my kindle because i'm scared i'll see the book...yes, i'm that level of traumatised. needless to say, never gonna recommend this one.

I just finished reading The Hate Vow and I LOVED IT! This book is my favorite right with Nico.
We first met Eric and Jane in the Spitfire trilogy. They were Skylar's best friends. There was always so much going on with them, they're fire, hot and cold, friends and lovers and then hate.
Their story brings them together with a predicament Eric is living and needs her help. Throughout the story we witness them falling in love again thru fighting and dealing with so much.
Nicole introduces bunch of new characters, some you'll love and some you'll hate if you're like me. The book ends on a cliffy but it's a delicious one (If we can call it that). I hate drama but the one displayed in this story is different, it'll keep you hooked to the book.
I can't wait for the other books.

This Author is new to me. I'm now eager to read more of her work. This book has everything. I laughed the banter was funny, and I love the witty Jane.
No spoilers from me, but Jane lands herself into some trouble. But this doesn't stop her. Eric needs Jane they make a deal so they can get the cash. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait for the next one. This does have a cliffy.

5 starts is not enough it’s just not enough to describe this couple!
We’ve heard it time and time again; there’s a fine line between love and hate but when it comes to Jane and Eric they simply love to dance along the line with their middle fingers in the air! Both do as they please, how they please and when they please! They tow the line in some aspects of life (work) but are in full control of others (bedroom)! Put these two fierce personalities together and a combustion unlike any other takes place that will leave everyone in its path burned!
After being burnt once Jane swears to never go down that path again but when Eric presents her with an offer she can’t refuse she finds herself fighting for more then just her heart. she’s just hoping she’s strong enough this time to handle everything Eric gives! If only she knew just how connected their worlds were maybe then She would’ve ran long ago!

This book is one I had to digest and mourn for a day before I could write a review. I LOVE you Nicole French! How did you write a book that knew what my heart needed? I was so totally enthralled with this book that I gorged on the pages until I got toward the end and then I tried to slow down so it wouldn't end but I couldn't because there was so much happening and I couldn't put on brakes because my momentum was too fast! Now I know that was a mouthful right there but this book is all that and more!!
Jane is my hero. Quirky, pink cotton candy hair (what I have been wanting to do to my hair but I'm too scared), bold, brave, fearless, beautiful inside and out, loyal, but scared to trust. And Eric, perfect, beautiful too, a lot like Jane, his pretty girl. Together, they hate and love. They straddle that line and did for 3 years. But 5 years ago the red panties were the straw that broke the camel's back.
Now Eric needs to get married and the only person he can imagine marrying is the woman he fights with as much as he loves. Jane and Eric together combust like Fourth of July fireworks both in the bedroom and out (on the kitchen counter, on the beach, wherever they feel the need) both physically and verbally. But Eric's family are very uppity social snobs and they have run off weaker prey in the past. Can Jane win Grandmother Celeste's approval and survive all the "mean girls" attacks? And can she and Eric survive without killing each other or burning each other up?
This is one of the best books I have read this year!! There is a huge cliffhanger at the end that made me want to throw my kindle across the room and pray that time flies for the next book in June! I'd give it 10 Amazing Stars if I could!!!

This author is never a disappointment. I love her stories, and this is no different.
This book is the story of Eric and Jane, whom we first met in The Spitfire Series; Eric and Jane have a complicated love/hate relationship.
Eric is summoned by his Grandmother, she is dying, and she has given him an ultimatum, he must marry and hopefully produce an heir, seeing as he is the only suitable 'blood' male de Vries left. He balks at this request, he's never wanted to get married, ever; but is told that his Grandmother will sell off everything and leave his mother, sisters, etc., penniless. Eric can't see this happen to his family - even if they aren't close. So, he finds Jane, as she is the only person he trusts to do this with and not want a lasting relationship, she too, is not into the 'marriage' scenario. It's a no-brainer - she can do this.
They figure out a plan to make this work. Throw a wrench in the works - they get over their previous misunderstandings, and fall in love - and are getting married, cause they want to, not cause they have to.
It's a great story - we get to have Skylar and Brandon back in the storyline, we meet Eric's family and we meet Jane's mom - she's a toughie with a story to tell.

But the eternal bachelor has just been handed a blow from his grandmother that he never saw coming, she insists he marry in order to maintain his billionaire status. The last thing he wants to do is get married, and be forced to spend every waking moment with one woman, but he loves his luxurious lifestyle too, so something is going to have to give. Meaning he needs a wife STAT, but he can't take on just any wife though, he needs one who understands him and his needs, which leads him to the door of a woman he never thought he'd see again.
Letting Jane Lee Lefferts in again could be harmful to not only his life, but also his heart... but what choice does he really have?
Between the pages of The Hate Vow you will find a story that will have you giggling one moment, and swooning like a fool the next, Eric and Jane really know how to put on a show!! This was a refreshing tale about a couple brought together for the sake of a marriage of convenience, that quickly morphs into something far more real than they ever anticipated! I really enjoyed following these two through their little journey, the drama was high, the steamy moments were off the charts, and of course then there were tender moments that gave my heart a good squeeze too. Wow! Once again this author has left me speechless! I've been sitting here in a stupor trying to find the words to do this book justice, but I can't... She takes us to New York, Chicago, and my absolute favorite BOSTON in this book, once again transporting us on a magic carpet of words, to places so real you can see them. I mean, this book checks every single item off my criteria for a good book list, the dark broody hero, the snarky take-no-s%#t from anyone heroine, sexual tension off the charts, crazy family drama, intriguing side stories, just ALL of it rolled into one amazing story that will lead you cursing her out that you have to wait until June for more of this crew.
I loved absolutely everything about Jane. She has to be my favorite heroine in recent memory. I love that the author takes us into her psyche and shows her honest flaws and inner struggles with fitting in. Jane is quirky and sarcastic and I think those are my top two favorite things about her. She's learning about herself too on this journey to find her happy ever after, and boy do they still have a journey ahead of them to get to that point lol.
And lets talk about Eric. First let me say, going in I did not expect to like him. My type typically runs more to the dark, domineering, working class hero. Eric may be has the domineering part down but he's very much the Golden Boy, suited up, all business hero. Boy am I happy to say I was wrong, I'm definitely loving every single thing about Eric. Especially his heart. His poetry! Swoon! He really is perfect for Jane, and its almost like he can ALMOST see it, but not quite, and its hard to convince Jane what they have is the real deal when he's not quite seeing it clearly himself. They'll get there though, they have some more stuff to work through, on their own and together, to get to their forever. Hurry up Ms. French I can't wait for them to figure it out!

All right, let’s get into this!
First of all, I have an admission to make. Even though I really anticipated this story, I had my reservations. I had always been curious about Eric, because of his aloofness and just how cool he always was. I liked him in the previous books and I definitely enjoyed his push and pull with Jane. Their relationship is literally fire.
About Jane… she was an incognita for me. I liked her in the spitfire series, but she was a little too much at times and usually I was so focused on the main romance between Skylar and Brandon that I was almost annoyed about her appearance because I just wanted some Brandon and Skylar action!
Aaaaanyway… that being said, this book was more than satisfactory. The author did a great job at making Eric and Jane’s relationship special and deep. Especially after learning about Eric’s past, every little sweet thing he did for Jane was even more meaningful.
I also related a lot with Jane because of her currently unemployed situation and how uncertain she was about her future. And I think many readers will. She is a unique character, she dances to the beat of her own drum and was perfect for the situation, with the De Vries ganging up on her.
I loved the cameos of the characters from the previous books, and also the little cameo from the Bad Ideas character! I adored that!
Plot and pace wise, the first half of the book was a bit slow, to the point that at first I was wanting for something more to happen, plot wise, but once it picked up, it was just perfect. I expected nothing less from the De Vries in the way they treated Jane, but I liked that she did not let them walk all over her and how Eric stood up to them for her.
I liked the flashbacks since this story is set in the future compared to the previous books so all their shared past was brought to light instead of just staying in the background, and it explained a lot, especially why the characters did not think they could work together. That definitely added to the push and pull of the situation, along with the stipulation of their “marriage”. I also liked the arranged marriage trope, because it’s not something I would have ever pinned these two characters getting into. So it was a good spin.
Overall, a really good read and I don’t want to spoil anything more because I want y’all to read it!

Review~ This was a different of book for me, one I never expected to become so enwrapped in. It was suppose to be a marriage of convenience nothing more than making sure things fell into place the way they were suppose to. I love Jane and The way she’s not afraid to stand out and be herself unapologetically! Eric... he’s a poet an unapologetic man who is a romantic at heart this book had me yearning at ever turn of the page, I can’t wait for more from Nicole French and too see where this goes!

Do you ever read a book and wish it would never end? That’s how I felt with this book. It is absolutely mind riveting from beginning to end. Eric and Jane gave known each other for quite some time. Then one day Eric tells her he needs a bride. But Jane, knowing how her and Eric are, doesn’t know what to do. Eric continuously tries to show her they need to do this, but something nags at Jane that it’s the wrong thing to do. Do they marry? Will something from both of their pasts stop them? This book truly has all the feels, like anger, sadness, happiness, lust and maybe even love. I am so enamored with these characters and couldn’t help falling in love with them myself. I cannot wait for the next book in this trilogy. It is completely and utterly a phenomenal story!

The Hate Vow is a book that splits my readers soul. As much as I enjoyed reading it, I struggled with the overal setup. Certain things, behaviours, actions made it hard for me to totally buy the story.
Also, the fact that this book is pretty long and it sometimes felt like the story was dragged (due to IMO unnecessary ‘fillers’), prevented me from really falling for it. In addition to that, I sometimes felt exhausted reading it, the constant back and forth banter, the constant push and pull and the constant fight with the family left me somehow a little emotionally drained.
”I shouldn’t have kissed Eric de Vries, because it wsa like being caught in a lightning storm.”
However, what I loved about the book is the great sexual tension between Eric and Jane. I enjoyed following their relationship development specially with those glimpses of their past. I really liked the way their feelings shifted as they navigated through this special situation. Feelings both tried hard to hide because they both felt heart broken by the other in the past. And this anticipation that therefore was build between them was totally killing it.
”It was a kiss that seared straight to my soul, branding me the way that only Eric de Vries could ever do.”
The Hate Vow is an entertaining book in an interesting and unique setup that makes you laugh more than once, leaving you with a cliff-hanger. I’m really curious what the future will have in store for Jane and Eric.

Man this book is an emotional roller coaster and this author does an amazing job holding your emotions hostage throughout this read. One minute I wanted to hate Eric the next I wanted to hate her for what she put him through. They both need serious help in many ways and play off each other beautifully if not in anger from past hurts then lost in the passion that burns hot within them. He knows how to reach her in bed but out of the bedroom these two have too many people that fight against their union, no matter who it benefits. I love/hate this author especially when she gets me all up in my feelings, waffling back and forth. It's a read that will do you in one way or another and yeah it ends in a cliff hanger and I will go mad waiting to find out what happens because yeah she dropped a number of bombs at the end which of course leave you saying WTH?!?!?! Freaking brilliant. Even when the action slows down you only get the chance to catch your breath, now all I gots to do is breathe until the next book in the trilogy. . . I can't wait!!

This is probably one of my favorite books I've ever written, and definitely one of the hardest. It took me a full year and a half to write it the way I thought it deserved. The characters are some of the most stubborn and vivacious. Jane, you know, has a comeback for absolutely everything. And the fact that she was basically a foil and Greek chorus in my first book, Legally Yours, meant that there was already a strong foundation for her. How to make that three-dimensional?
These two demolished me again and again as I wrote their story. I laughed. I cried. And everything in between. I did my best to do justice to their relationship, and I hope you love them too.

Nicole French certainly knows how to hook us into a story. This book resonated with me being an American-born Chinese. The fact that Jane is half Korean grabbed my attention immediately. My husband is white, so our children are mixed kids, my daughter looks like me. So I totally understood some of Janes insecurities, being the odd one out or feeling out of place.
I loved that Nicole described these insecurities and fears because they are very real. Jane is a very strong character and I loved her sass but her fears made her much more endearing and my heart broke sooo much for her knowing exactly how she felt. My husband’s family is great and I LOVE them, but being the only Asian in the whole family did make me kinda uncomfortable especially when they didn’t understand some of our cultural customs. So kudos for Nicole nailing it!
I loved the push and pull of both Eric and Jane and the secondary characters were awesome too. We get to see more of Skylar and Brandon and I kinda liked the grandma. Kinda....lol. Some other characters remain a mystery that I hope the second book will explain more about them.
Eric is awesome! I wanted to slap him sometimes but he redeemed himself, kinda! I wanted to kill both of them towards the end to be honest.... but when the last page was read, I was dumbfounded. It ends in a cliffy, but I loooveeeeee the angst and the tension and cannoooottt wait for the next book. I am rooting for both Jane and Eric and I reallyyy want to see their HEA!!

In this hilariously sexy page turner we meet Eric (insert super long fancy rich last names). He isnt your typical rich alpha. He is determined to make his own name, independent, vulnerable and so romantic without being cheesy. He's a poet and Nicole French gives us glimpses of his poetry throughout the book, making you fall in love with him. Jane is our heroine, she is quirky, fun , unique and fiercely independent. They are opposites in every sense of the word; yet together they are dynamic and exciting. like opposite sides of a color wheel they compliment each other perfectly. However ending up together isn't as easy. French seamlessly weaves past demons, past secrets and complicated family dynamics throughout their sexy love story. It ends with a cliffhanger and effectively a book hangover. I was captivated from the start !

Whoa! What just happened? This book is everything I didn't expect it to be. It was a whole lot more really. If you read the Spitfire Series then you've already had a glimpse of Eric and Jane. But to get their story is just awesome. These two are so much alike and yet so different. How much will they both change once they make an arrangement that will change their life. Better yet will they go through with it. Who knew how explosive those two could still be and will she ever let go of past misgivings. What is he willing to sacrifice for her? Oh and all the secrets and the turn of events this takes you on. The ending, I'm like whoa, wait, what... I love these two. And so many of others mentioned in this book too. Amazing. I am looking forward to more. Sexy, hot, steamy.. So hot!!!

Wow! This is my first book by Nicole French and I couldn’t be happier.
I originally thought the storyline was old and had been done many many times, rich guy need wife to obtain the millions he’s set to inherit. And while this book follows that storyline Nicole has made Jane and Eric truly multidimensional. The banter between these two during their engagement is priceless! Eric is pretty straight laced but Jane is quirky resilient and stubborn as all get out. I had serious doubts that these two would make it down the aisle. Ms. French did not disappoint this book truly has something for everyone. I was utterly invested in these characters until the very end and now shocker a huge cliffhanger. My wait begins until I can find out where Eric and Jane end up.

two friends that are trying to make a marraige work for her best friend that is a high powered shipper, but he dosent want this job he just wants to be a lawyer but is going to have to follow his grandma orders before can hand off. this is amazing read that will have you hooked to this story. cant wait for the next book!

The Hate Vow WOWed me! The characters, the plot development, the sexual chemistry, the relationships and the comedy all work together to create this seriously good read.
Eric and Jane have a history. In college they were friends, then lovers, then they were not. Going separate ways for the most part, yet still in contact through mutual friends. When Eric finds Jane to make an offer that is hard to refuse, the pair embark on a journey of twisted emotions and high sexual tension.
Jane is an awesome character. She is quirky, headstrong and not ashamed of it. She does have her insecurities, which makes her realistic and endearing. Eric seems to enjoy Jane's strong personality. He has a past that Jane slowly learns about throughout this book, which helps her understand him. I was left frustrated on numerous occasions with this pair! I loved their to and fro banter and watching feelings develop into more.
As I started to get comfortable with the plot of The Hate Vow, ready to give a solid 5 stars, the author threw a curve ball. This plot twist, that I DID.NOT.SEE.COMING turns The Hate Vow into 5+ stars for me. The surprise development has me waiting with bated breath for the next instalment, due for release in June 2019.

This was a first book of Nicole’s that I have read. I got this as an ARC and I was super excited cuz the blurb sounded just too good to pass up!
I have to say it took me a minute to get into it, but once I got hooked, I GOT HOOKED!
I just loved Jane and her sassy-ness and “weird” style, not so weird to be but in the theme of this book and the characters I get it.
Eric took sometime for me to love him. There were times, ok A LOT of times that I hated him and wanted to yell at him to just man the fuck up haha.
But this one gave me a mind fuck, excuse my language lol. I didn’t see that ending coming and hate how it ended......
**Disclaimer** I only hated how it ended cuz it’s a cliffhanger and I have to wait to get the answers to all this questions lol.

God this book! I’m in love with the journey I just went on and still kind of amazed about the black hole
I somehow fell into. I need book two like I need my next hit (and I don’t even smoke). I wanted to cheer with Jane and I wanted to smack her at the same time. Kind of like how I was marginally pissed at Skyler in the spitfire series for some questionable decisions...Jane doesn’t disappoint. And Eric. Yeah he gets my vote - a climber who spouts poetry? Sign me up. Read it. You won’t regret it.

I really tried, I got to 40% and had to give up. The heroine is holding the biggest grudge against the hero, for hooking up with someone while they were broken up, but she was doing the same thing, he legit found her in bed with someone. Not only that, she's jealous of every girl who's in his life, she's so in love with him but she's aggressively pushing him away. And at 40% we find out he told her he loves her and wanted to be with her but she rejected him, even though she wants him. So she rejects him but she wants and loves him but is angry at him so doesn't want to be with him even though he didn't do anything wrong. And wtf is up with his family why are they all evil except for him?

This is the first book I've read of Nichole French's (even though I have a couple other of hers on my kindle). DEAR LORD. SO GOOD. What did I just read?! I couldn't put it down. I will be honest. The first couple chapters took me a while. It felt slow to me and I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book. HOWEVER, after a couple chapters went past and I got into the groove with her writing and the story line, the book flew by because I couldn't stop reading!
The witty banter (which I love in any book), the sexual tension, the fake marriage, and the constant back and forth. The writing was top notch and the dialogue felt real. There was nothing forced in any aspect. I couldn't get enough.
That ending! What the what?! It does leave off with a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens!
