"I was beginning to realize you could find peace in more places than just the confines of home."

Dallas Bryan wants one thing, to attend CalArts to study dance. With no funds for a dance team, her only option is being a cheerleader. But things change when Drayton Lahey crashes into Dallas's life. Drayton is completely wrong for her but the more time Dallas spends with Drayton the more she realises it might be time to forget what she needs and go after what she wants.

This was a cute, quick, and fun read that would be a good one to pick up for the summer to read by the lake or pool. It's a simple read that doesn't require any additional thinking (if that makes sense). Admittedly, even though it was a good read, it certainly isn't one that will leave a lasting memorable impression. It's the typical stereotype of a romance between a 'misunderstood' football star and a cheerleader that is relatable, quirky, and 'unlike the rest of the cheerleaders'. Both of thes ...more

The QB Bad Boy and Me is a really cute teen romance. I could easily see this being made into a Freeform or CW TV series. There were some parts that seemed drug out or a little rough, but overall, I really enjoyed Drayton and Dallas's story.

Drayton is my favorite type of hero. Cocky. Sarcastic. Protective. Big Hearted. Sweet. And Dallas is my favorite type of heroine. Independent. Fierce. Loyal. Strong. The QB Bad Boy and Me also has fun and real supporting characters. Gabby, Josh, Nathan. All o

I'll start this by saying that if I read this back in middle school I'd probably have loved it.

No, not even high school, because high school me also would not have been able to get over how UNREALISTIC this is for a high school scenario. I think this book would've been 1000x better if they were college kids. Because the shit they did, drinking all the time even with their family, just going on a vacation without family

Wow, I loved this book! It was so cute and the characters were fun and it flowed so well. Dallas was so independent and didn't let people get her down. She's has a tough childhood, losing her parents and grandma, but she has goals and stands up for herself. I really liked that she wasn't afraid to say that she has sex and didn't let anyone shame her for it. Drayton was so sweet and the things he did to show Dallas he cared were adorable. Their relationship was great and I liked when they were ho ...more

Sweet story and very easy to read. Ideal for the summer.
You will adore the characters! And it will make you miss high school times. Give it a try.
Thank you to the publisher via Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

The QB Bad Boy and Me started off quite slow and I almost gave up, I definitely didn't like Drayton initially and Dallas wasn't the most endearing character, As the book progressed so too did my feelings towards the characters but I still didn't love it.

Every now and then I love a good Y/A book filled with teenage angst and drama and Tay Marley's new book The QB Bad Boy and Me, has all those elements. So this story is about Dallas a cheerleader who is only a cheerleader because her school has no dance program and Dray, who starts out being a jerk but we quickly see that that's just a persona he uses to hide the softer side of him. I love how Dallas calls him out on his being a jerk an

I’ve seen a lot of lower stars on Goodreads but I have to admit I actually loved this book. I’m not usually a big fan of YA because I like more steam. But even those this book lacked it I truly enjoyed it. Both characters were loveable. At times I felt like they were older than high school students because of the drinking and partying but I don’t know maybe things are different than when I was in HS 20 years ago 🤣 My true only complaint is I wanted in Dray’s head. The QB Bad Boy and Me was a very cute YA/NA book and I really enjoyed reading it.

The story was funny and easy to read and even though it had some clichés, I still enjoyed reading about Dallas and Dray!

I do feel like some things were thrown in the story and didn't have the follow up they entailed, but other than that this was the kind of highschool romance I enjoy. It has the right ammount of sweetness so it was enjoyable.

This was a sweet YA Romance. Drayton and Dallas are opposites on paper. He's popular and outgoing. She's studios and focused on her hopes for a scholarship. When they run into each other chemistry abounds and both their future goals and paths are changed.

It was a really promising read and I will definitely be looking out for more from this author.

I received an ARC of this book.

A light summer read, great for a day at the beach or by the pool, when you just want to relax and have a little fun.
It`s your typical high school romance, where the "good" girl falls for the "bad" guy and they live happily ever after.
It doesn`t bring anything new, but for all the hopless romantics out there is not gonna change anthing, we`ll still gonna love it.

Dallas is a cheerleader that has her whole dream college sorted and she`s trying to do whatever she can to make it happen. She`s very in

Until then, she is stuck on the cheerleading squad, since the school has no dance team to help get into her dream university in California. I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.

This was a cute book! I loved the two main characters and even though they both denied their feelings and made the book a little longer than it needed to be, I was still rooting for them! Drayton is the boy that all of the girls wish they had in their lives, so for Dallas to catch his attention was a big deal for him. But he was too stubborn to actually tell Dallas his feelings, and was broody, mean, and surly for the begi

Dallas is a star cheerleader, though she wishes her school had a dance team. She plans to go to college for dancing, but she will first need to make it through dealing with her mean-girl head cheerleader. Dallas is going to get out of her hometown and while she hasn't had an easy go of it, especially after her parents died and her young brother took on the responsibility of raising her. This book was a fun summer read. It's your classic YA contemporary with an enemies-to-lovers slow burn romance. There's a lot of great angst between the main character, Dallas, and Drayton, the QB of the football team. It's definitely trope-y, with some prominent cliches, but overall it's a fun romp of a story and quick to read.

I had a couple issues with the story, however. Some of the key plot points were hard to beli
The QB Bad Boy and Me was a cute romance with a lot of fun elements which indicated teen romance and I really liked that but there wasn't too much to it except that, and still it was pretty unrealistic in the way the main characters acted and behaved.

Dallas doesn't want to form any deep emotional bonds in the small town she lives in as she wants to get pout of there as soon as possible and never come back.

In comes Drayton Lahey, a 'bad boy' with no basis to support it except some tattoos and a r

I wish i could give this book 10 stars because omg this is one of the best books I have ever read. I am currently crying so much because it’s so cute and this book just is too good. I thought I was going to die as some parts just because so much happened and I don’t regret reading this book. Drayton is so hot and he can marry me because he is perfect. This story is a twist on the star quarterback meets cheerleader trope. It is intended for those who enjoy YA or teen romances.

There were some good things for me about this story. I thought it was technically well written. There was really good character development. I especially enjoyed the heroine, Dallas. She was loyal, confident, and had a bit of a “devil may care” attitude. She rose above high school politics and would not let hers

If you are looking for a fun, quick read then this is the book for you. This book is full of cliches and tropes but that's exactly what makes this an enjoyable read.

Dallas is your typical, 'not like other girls' cheerleader and Drayton is your typical bad boy quarterback. You're probably rolling your eyes as you read this but trust me, it works.

Dallas knows exactly what she wants in life, a dance scholarship to CalArts and nothing and no one will get in her way, until Drayton literally crashes i

This is such a perfect read for summer ! I'm absolutely in love with Dallas and Drayton !

I first heard of this book on Wattpad years ago. I thought it was amazing there, and I still think it is now, as Tay managed to land a book deal for her story. With summer just around the corner, contemporaries are more and more appealing to me, and especially cute teen romances. I couldn't have found a better read to fulfill my desire for this genre of book.

Things I loved about this book: Um let's start off with anything sports related and I'm about it. Add in high school romance and I'm done for. The chemistry between Drayton and Dallas is phenomenal. Very swoon worthy!! I personally loved that this was about a boy helping a girl get through her baggage of shit instead of the other way around.
