Honestly, Dewi preferred fighting the Segura drug cartel to having a frou-frou wedding. But she’s survived both with her sanity intact.
Barely.
That’s due in no small part to Ken and Nami accidentally finding her grandfather, who everyone believed was dead for nearly fifty years. In addition to serving as the Targhee Pack’s Head Enforcer, and head of the expanded Pack Council, Dewi’s next challenging mission is trying to teach Duncan about safely navigating a whole new world.
Like texting. And Facebook.
And of course life is never easy for Dewi, Ken, Badger, Beck, Nami, and the rest of their extended family. So when Badger’s old friend comes asking for the Targhee Pack’s help, they can’t turn him away.
Even if it brings a new and fuzzy foe into their lives when they’re asked to help his loved one stay…incorgnito.

Bleacke Shifters, Book 4. The past collides with the present, and nothing will ever be the same.
SPOILER ALERT: THIS SERIES SHOULD DEFINITELY BE READ IN ORDER. THE BACKSTORY OF ALL THE CHARACTERS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.
Dewi’s still trying to get over the shock of Duncan’s reappearance. Duncan’s navigation of this whole new world drives him, and everyone around him, absolutely nuts. As if that wasn’t enough, surprise after surprise now fills the lives of the entire Targhee Pack. None of them could have seen any of this coming. Seems the Pack’s about to expand, in more ways than one. Nami’s pregnant…again. Another surprise, this time from overseas, brings hatred and retribution no one knew existed. Dewi, Ken, Badger, even Duncan are thrown for a loop. Pack loyalty’s involved, and that’s sacred. As if that wasn’t enough, another trip to Idaho’s required. Unknown to anyone, vowed vengeance returns for promised retribution. As the Targhee Pack’s targeted from multiple sides, can Dewi and the rest find all their enemies in time? If even one gets through, the potential damage could destroy every member of the Pack. As their enemies get ever closer, twists and turns no one could have seen show the answer may have always been right in front of them. Is there a way out? Or will the Targhee Pack be taken down forever?
I love paranormal/shifter books, and this series is one of the very best I’ve ever read. I’ve been waiting for this book for a long time, and it’s everything I wanted and more. I had to go back and reread the ending of Bleacke Wind (book 3) to refresh my memory a bit. But this is just as packed with adventure, magic, mystery, emotion, twists, and turns as the other Bleacke Shifter books. It’s really hard for me to pick a favorite character from this book. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Ken. He’s always drawn me with his response to the Pack, the way he tries to fit into a world he never knew before Dewi. Dewi’s also always fascinated me. She’s so over-the-top, always in control, a Pack Alpha, unusual in every way. Nothing rattles her…except humans. When she’s forced to deal with them, she’s so out of her element. But this time, it’s Duncan that made me howl with laughter (pun intended) and cry genuine tears of loss and pain. The way he deals with the modern world and learns technology (especially Facebook) is absolutely hilarious. Dealing the loss of his past is heartbreaking and frustrating in the extreme. When you add Badger, Beck, Nami. Joaquin, Malyah, Trevor, Tamsin, and the rest, it’s comical, terrifying, gruesome, warm, loving, and full of every emotion you can imagine. Lesli Richardson writes every genre you can image, and this series shows just why she’s one of the best authors around. Congratulations, Ms. Richardson, on another fantastic book in an outstanding series.
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
The Florida branch of the Targhee pack has a lot on its plate. Duncan is working as a enforcer and is rapidly closing his 40 year knowledge gap. Manuel is in the wind, which has everyone on edge, especially Nami, who worries about everyone. Manuel is a threat to Joaquin, which makes him a threat to Malyah. Trouble comes from across the pond, when an alpha friend of Badger asks for help. His daughter-in-law and her unborn baby need protection. Her father didn't approve of her mate. He is determined to protect the only like he has left to his children. Dewi pledges the pack's protection. Take Tamsin to her brothers pack in Idaho. Were she learns their has been a baby explosion since the attack on their compound. Baby fever is catching, their are now 2 on the way for the Florida branch. They finally catch a break in their hunt for Manuel, when a wolf shifter and his part wolf mate, request sanctuary in exchange for Manuel. A win win for Dewi, she gains 2 enforcers and removes the Manuel threat. Christmas is coming and Nami's baby brother his just found is mate in one of her new enforcers baby sister. Peyton delegates to Dewi to explain to Nami, who delegates to Joaquin, while explaining to her new enforcers that they just acquired a brother-in-law. There still may be a threat in the form of Manuel's elderly uncle. Who wonders if maybe some truth to Manuel's wolf men and if so how can he make a profit off of it. Love this series. Can't wait for the next book.
This time there is no "on screen" mating that is the main part of the story. We are revisiting the Tampa pack and seeing the next step in their lives start to emerge. There are also the loose ends from the last story to wrap up. I like the way that that part of the story played out and the introduction of the new characters. I did have some mixed feelings about the foreshadowing of even more trouble at the very end. Part of me is really ready for these people to have a chance to settle down and be happy for awhile.
This book was two years late from the time we were originally told it would be published. I didn't care for all of the "we're family, we're pack" yadda, yadda, yadda. A time or two is fine. We get it. I was really getting tired of Nami's control freak issues. My favorite part of the book was learning about Carl and Mateo. This book set us up for some interesting story lines in the future of the series.
PLEASE READ THESE IN ORDER to get to full effect of the entire series!! Lesli Richardson knows how to weave a story to keep you interested throughout the entire book! Lots of changes coming for the Bleacke Crew and the Targhee Pack and it is such an emotional ride well worth it till the very end!!
The three year wait for this installment was worth it! The Targhee Pack , especially Dewi, are a very special group of shifters. This group of shifters finally settles one major issue while picking up a few others. Great continuation.
Baby fever engaged!!!! Every possible way to get pregnant is covered…hilariously so to boot!! It seems like the crazy train is still running and poor Ken and Dewi canNot catch a break…or a honeymoon. Can’t wait to see how this all plays out!
