One night, that’s all this was supposed to be.

I came to Sin City with my best friend to celebrate my much-needed divorce. For once, I want to be the one with no care about tomorrow.
That’s when he catches my eye. I watch as he works the room and the women in it. He’s everything I hate in a man, but the epitome of what we all want. Sexy, confident to a fault, and a smirk that will melt your panties.
He’s everything my ex-husband is.
As our eyes meet, I decide to give him a dose of his own medicine and show him how it feels to be used. Tonight, I’ll be the woman everyone stares at when she enters the room. The one I am in the boardroom who takes no prisoners.
I’ll be the one to bring him to his knees and leave him just as fast.

For one night, I’ll be that woman.

Man the three of these guys together in college were a mess and so were the women they were with. Lennox feels he drew the short end of the stick, between him and his twin Laclan, as he lets his jealousy rule his actions. But when he finally gets his head out of his butt she's there to rock his world. What started as a one night stand ends way different from what was intended. Lennox finds someone whose just as lost as he is. Someone looking for home in him without even knowing it. These two heal each other, fill the empty places they didn't want to acknowledge all the while completing each other like a jig saw puzzle. Of course there's more to it and we get to see the rest of the gang in on the action to remind us of the love and strength of family whether related by blood, deed, or choice.

One of my favorites of 2019!

Gahhhh it was about time we got Lennox’s story and it didn’t disappoint. I loved him with Lolita. Reuniting with all of my favorite characters. The epilogue was the best! Amazing job as always my Queen of Redemption! ❤️

A very difficult read – sort of DNF ***SPOILERS AHEAD***

The blurb on the book attracted me. It is the story of Lola and Lennox. Lola meets Lennox in Vegas for one night and he reminds her of her ex, so she decides to sleep with him and leave, but then she ends up working for him.

I realize I am in the minority here, however; I really had a tough time reading this book. For almost half the book, Lola and Lennox did not meet each other. Instead, there was almost 20 years’ worth of failed relationships for both, I had to slog through. And it felt like a slog. I really didn’t need 100 pages of how blind both were and all the mistakes they made in a relationship. I didn’t get why she loved Carter never mind what drove her to stay in the relationshipLennox, I really didn’t care about. And then there were so many characters introduced who were superfluous that I just felt lost and confused about who they were and what they added to the plot. I finally gave up midway and then came back and skimmed through the rest of the book. The last quarter if the book improved but again, I didn’t understand why they fell for each other. Sounded like lust rather than love. I do think they were better off together than apart, but it felt like rebound for Lola and insta-lust for Lennox, not love. I did not enjoy the writing style. I recognize that this book has many 4 and 5 stars but not for me.

Lolita "Lola" and Lennox have a 16 year history. Loved how they first met but the hardships that Lola endured made her an incredible woman. My heart went out for her. Her ex tried to keep her down but you can't keep a strong spirit contained.

Lennox is her other glove....he protects her, keeps her warm and what this man will do to put a smile on her face will have you getting the goosebumps and wanting to find your own Lennox. He's not perfect but he's really close.

Loved that we got to meet and catch up with past characters who you haven't forgotten about and find some great new friends along the way.

Words of warning, you will cry. Happy tears, sad one and just because this story makes you feel. I'd invest in lots of tissues. I had to keep wiping off my reader and backtrack because my vision was blurred.

If you have read previous from this author, you know you are in for an emotional, gut-wrenching story. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

** I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** DNF. Honestly couldn't get through this book with two people making the dumbest relationship choices ever! I'll take other reviewers word that the hero & heroine are stronger after the fact & when they get together, it's amazing. Unfortunately, it was such a struggle to even get through 20%. Not a fan of this writing style. Way too confusing.

What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay there, except when your one night stand turns out to be your new boss, a great story full of pain and passion, plenty of hardship and strength, Lennox has always felt second best to his twin, the family mess up, Lola has gone trough hell in her marriage, two broken people who find their perfect match!.

At the beginning of this book I was so confused, so many different characters, so much fragmented storyline. I had a hard time until I was half way through then it started the story started to flow better. The last quarter of the book was really good.

Lola divorces her cheating husband and her best friend, Millie, takes her to Vegas to celebrate with a group of women. Lola’s determined to have a one-night stand and picks up Lennox.

Lennox has a hot night in Vegas with Lola, only to be ditched by her the next morning. The next thing you know, Lola is working for Lennox. The chemistry between the two of them is hot and even through some misunderstandings, they are drawn to each other and work their way to an HEA. 3 Stars #2OCCMS

What happens in Sin City is supposed to stay in Sin City but that’s not the case for Lola and Lennox. This story had my eyes watering throughout the story with having a close connection to Lola’s experiences and seeing the strong woman fight her way through. A non stop page turner from the very beginning that had me cheering on Lennox and not wanting him to give up on what he wants and feels deep down in his heart with his decisions. Carter is that character that you love to loathe from the first moment we’re introduced to him. A beautifully written heartfelt story that hits you deep in the heart.

Oh wow Leaona! I don't even know where to begin my review for this beauty.

Lola is another badass female who has gone through hell and back. With Millie by her side, she's good to go and a best friend I'd love to have.

Lennox is such a strong man throughout his life and everything bad and good from it. I love the relationship he has with Lachlan and his parents.

I really loved reading as all the people from other books were melded into the story as well. And Carter, oh girl, don't even get me started on him and his antics.

Another 5 star hit from one of my go to authors! How Leaona can make us hate a character in one book and then completely redeem them in another is a work of magic. Lennox is the epitome of a broken little boy trapped inside the sexy package of a man. Lola is a broken woman trying to find herself after a loveless marriage. Together they heal and build something worthwhile. I loved this book so much, and read it over the weekend while sick, at least whenever my meds weren’t knocking me out! Beautiful work Ms. Luxx!

I always adore Leaonas words. She writes what she knows and it shows. Theirs family, hardships and love. Her books are real and For One Night is no different! There was a bit of a slow burn factor here that I loved!! And the characters she wants you to hate...you hate them hard!
These Scottish men have been a favorite of mine even though Lennox had some amends to make I was so glad to see him get his story!
Once again Leaona has delivered a must read romance!

I enjoyed Lola & Lennox's story. At first, I was a bit lost with this one, but after a cpl chapters I seemed to catch on. Carter always seemed like a player...& he just got worse...Poor Lola. Just wanted to hug her. I would NOT have put up with how Carter treated her. I got a copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my review.

Lennox Daly gets his chance to shine in this story, unlike the jerk he was in his twin brother Lachlan's book. As I started to read the story, I have to admit that I had a healthy bias against him, thinking he would play an entitled, arrogant, do-nothing creep. I was pleasantly surprised to see what a good, caring man he turned out to be. Lola came to Las Vegas with her best girls to celebrate her divorce from her cheating ex. She's not looking for anything special, or permanent, and what she gets is a one-night-stand with Lennox. To make sure things aren't awkward in the morning, she leaves and Lennox can't believe it...that's his M.O. When Lachlan's hires her because of problems in the finance department, Lennox becomes Lola's boss and the game is on. I do think there were a few pieces of the story that were thinly detailed or left without a lot of description, but they didn't take away from the enjoyment of the book. The Daly twins are perfect for the women they love, and it's always a joy to reconnect with friends from the other books.

I read the first two books in this series, and I wanted to know why there was such jealousy and hate between Lachlan and Lennox. It seemed as if Lennox wanted everything but refused to work for it, so it was good to know where everything stemmed from with the brothers. I wish I could say that I loved this book better than I did the others but just like the previous books, this book was okay. It's definitely a one-time read story for me. It took me a while to get into this story and I just didn't connect with the characters as I had hoped I would. I though Lolita (Lola) character showed strength after everything she dealt with but there were times where her and Lennox characters worked on my nerves. The epilogue to their story was a nice and the story was okay, but I think this author's writing style is not for me.

The first half of the book is set in the past. Lola is in an unhealthy abusive relationship with Carter. She met him the first day of college. Lennox is in a relationship with a manipulative gold digger Robin.

I absolutely despised Lennox in his twin brother Lachlan's book, and almost skipped his book. So glad I didn't cause I fell in love with Lennox!!!

Finally in chapter 14 Lennox & Lola meet in Las Vegas. She is on a girl's weekend celebrating her divorce. He is there for a break from work and life.

Sizzling chemistry from first sighting
Lennox is way different than I ever expected.

The tables have turned.

Lola has had enough of men with wandering eyes and hands and when she meets Lennox she is determined to give him a taste of his own medicine. After a really hot night, Lennox wakes to find Lola gone. He's determined to find her. When they meet again at work they get to know each other. I liked the characters. Lola is strong and has been through a lot. Lennox is nicer than he appears on the surface. There is enough suspicious activity in the story to keep a bit of suspense/danger going but the real story is Lola and Lennox. There were a few spots that seemed rushed and a couple of times I wanted to slap one or the other of the characters but still a good read. I read this as a standalone but I understand there are other books with related characters and they might actually fill in the gaps. I'll be going back to read those next.

I must start by saying I hated Lennox in Maysin and Lachlan’s story!
But as many other time in this series, Maysin and Lachlan’s story isn’t complete w/o Lennox’s….
By the way, I love this at Leaona’s books - some “vilain” in one book get their story next, to explain all, and to redeem themself. And damn, it works! Leaona made us even like them!
This is the case with Lennox. We get to understand him and suffer along with him, struggle along with him, and get to fall in love along with him.
And Lola is what he need to keep him on his toes!.

Lennox and Lola meet while in Vegas and end out having one steamy night together thinking they would never see each other again. Well, surprise turns out when she gets home there's Lennox and he's her new boss and things start heating up again. Although it took a bit to get into the story once I did I didn't put it down until the last page. For One Night is filled with heartbreak, family drama, romance, and a Vegas love story between two people who found each other at the right time in their lives. This is a great addition to the series.

Lennox and Lola will have you glued to the pages. In the beginning, Lola was with Carter who she knew was a bad idea, but she married him anyway and endured years of heartache and putdowns. When she divorced him, her life truly took an upwards turn. Lennox was on the path of destruction until his family came to him and got him back on track. When he and Lola met his life came full circle that is until Carter tried to pull them apart. Will he succeed?

Good read about love and heartbreak

This book was decent. It felt like it drug on at first but the ending was great. I really enjoyed the group. Thru the miscommunication and mistrust cane love and respect. Lola was hurt so badly and it took a lot for her to readjust to having a man love and care for her. I loved Lennox and his passion. He fought his demons and won.

This is a well written book with strong characters in Lola and Lennox. They have a strong connection and sizzling hot chemistry but it's a struggle for them to admit their feelings for one another. I enjoyed watching them come together.

Good story, but I found that it was occasionally hard to follow the dialogue and understand who was saying what. It drives me a bit nuts when I have to read something over a few times to try and make it out, even worse when I still can’t.

Potential.

This book has great potential it needs to be highly edited for all the errors but they story itself is there. Its wonderful and touching and special its just barried under mistakes that could be easily fixed to make it a 5 star read.
