100 Days in Europe felt like a nostalgic trip, packed with artsy adventures to beautiful landmarks— leaving me with the sweet feeling of love in the air by the time I finished reading. This webtoon is as it says— it takes you along a fairytale-like romance with Gia, the main protagonist.
Gia is the embodiment of finding happiness even in the simple things in life, and though she is incredibly kind, she is not without her faults: an unconsciously ingrained prejudice against certain "beautiful people", and the inability to see past those biases even though she knows they are not necessarily true. The main subject of her annoyance is none other than Hayden Park, an extraordinarily beautiful man who happens to cross paths with her during her stop in Prague. To be honest, I didn't like Hayden at all initially— he was snobbish, demanding, and self-absorbed, and I was surprised Gia had that much patience to deal with his attitude. However, his character development is one of the best parts in this series. In the initial chapters, you're greeted with this cold and stoic character, but as time goes on you're able to see the positive influence Gia has on Hayden as he becomes more open with her. And vice versa! Gia gets insight into Hayden's world and comes to understand that beyond the riches and fame, Hayden's life is constantly bombarded with unwanted attention and intrusive actions from strangers— showing the double-edged sword of having so much beauty.
This webtoon was amazing, with gorgeous art and packed with info on all the places Gia and Hayden visit so it feels like you're going on a trip with them. By the last chapter, I'm feeling nostalgic of an European tour I had without getting on a plane.
The plot is cliche, but I absolutely loved it. The characters, the journey, the views. It makes you feel nostalgic, it makes you want to get a backpack and go traveling. Such a great way of creating a story.
Omg this was such a wonderful romantic story I've ever read in 2020. Hayden and Gia from since they first met in Prague, REALLY DESERVED each other. It goes to show that none of us should be basing on an individuals look first, but how they are shown as a person themselves. I liked how Jihyo Kim put in wee facts on the locations they visited, it keeps the reading experience feel more like the readers are tourists themselves in these areas (even if we are all in lockdown right now).
As well regarding food shown in this manhwa, I really was fascinated to understand that there's deserts out there called "Caramel Eiffel Tower" and "Cannoli". Seriously this friggin manhwa is making me hungry dude and I already had dinner an hour ago haha.
Also besides the main characters being likeable, I thought the only person that I liked on the trip was Sunni. She's potentially best girl but I really wish she was thought of more in terms of background on why she was travelling . I know she said she's getting away from somebody but it wasn't really clear for me as to shes referring to? It's just too bad she only appeared 1 or 2 chaps anyways..
Another thing I hated about this manhwa, stereotypical Hayden obsessed b*ches. I can't tell you how much I hated Jane as well as the others to forcefully make Hayden fall in love with any of them and try to put off Gia just because she's a plain Jane (pun intended but a better Jane).
HOWEVER this manhwa really captured my heart this year. It was just so sweet and honestly felt I was on cloud 9. I normally don't write long ass reviews like this but 100 days in Europe deserves its huge credit so much from me.
I am thrilled we got a satisfying ending out of this manhwa with the pair of cuties getting finally hitched. Honestly when you're down, this will pick you right back up. You won't regret reading it! 5/5

'100 Days in Europe' tells the story of a 28-year-old artist who unknowingly meets a model/ celebrity on a train to Prague. What started as a troublesome encounter ended up as happily ever after.
Reading this story feels like eating a piece of my favorite cheesecake on a cool Sunday afternoon. It evokes so much nostalgia and fuzzy warmth so much so that I want to reread this soon. Although it was kind of funny how in the last five chapters the author inserted all of the dramatic cliches one can think of. Still, I will not be complaining because it is a fan service everybody wants. Also, this manhua inspired me to go on a backpacking trip like what Gia did.
I find the FL so genuine and endearing, even if she was described as someone mundane and bland by her peers. Conversely, the ML is a typical good-looking tsundere. Apart from the other unimportant irksome characters in the story, he is easily infuriating.
Furthermore, I love the author's distinct art style. The color palette that was used was so pleasing to the eyes and the playlist is in sync with the plot. It made the panels look so magical. It's as if I'm reading a deeper version of a children's storybook.
I would gladly rate it this as 5/5 and would recommend this to my friends as well.
It took me like a year (not an exaggeration) with all those "wait three days to unlock the new episode" but I did it! (There are two extra chapters left but I'm not paying).
It was a sweet story, I liked how they become friends and little by little fell in love. The art was to die for, each page was such a pleasure to read and appreciate. I love love love the style.
BUT, the girls? Are you kidding me? Are you telling me that each.and.every.one. of the girl in the story had to be crazy/mean/horrible to Gia because of this boy who, even if he's attractive, is rude and full of himself? Each chapter was the same: Cute moment + crazy girl appears and is rude to Gia + Hayden is rude to them and "saves" Gia + more cute moments. Are you kidding meeeeee?
The art really saved this one for me, I would have abandoned it so fast if it wasn't for the art..
Awesome webcomic. I read it over and over. One of a few webcomics that I reread more than 3 times. The art style is developd uniquely. It can convey the emotions more deeply than any comic can. The story is also very inspiring and impressive. I even set the wallpaper on my phone and iPad!
This was so good! It's not my first story from this author, I read Hans & Emily before and I fell in love with the dreamy beautiful drawings and the story telling! The author can really draw you in her stories and envelop you in their atmosphere. It's really precious 💛
This is a great webtoon. Amidst of many travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic and having only 2 months left in the UK, this webtoon makes me regret not having travelled more in Europe. Reading the chapters about Italy, Greece, Austria, Czech Replublic and Switzerland, I can't help but feeling that I should have gone their. Reading the chapters about Spain, I regretted not being able to visit the Catalonia museum and go inside Sagrada Familia. Unlike my European friends who can just have a weekend getaway in Europe anytime they want, I know that after leaving the UK, I won't be able to visit Europe again anytime soon.
I like the chemistry between the two main characters - Gia and Hayden. At some point, I was a bit annoyed about how passive Gia is but considering her being an introvert artist, it is quite understand. I was really pleased to see her taking the initiative for the first near the end.
I am in love with the dreamy drawing style. Some scences are just sketches but they convey so many feelings. Europe looks stunning in Kim Jihyo's drawing even though the UK looks unrealistically beautiful in the summer (the winter in the UK and particularly Scotland is horrible!). And come on, can you draw some make-up for Gia in her wedding day? Which girl would get married without having some makeup on?
There are, however, two 'flaws' that I would like to point out. First of all, almost all female characters are the same, being potrayed as superficial beings who just go after Hayden for his look and wealth. Being a woman myself who supports feminism, I am quite disappointed about this. Also, if Hayden that good looking, shouldn’t men also find him attractive? Who do only women chase after him? Second, the ending is quite disappointing. The message of the webtoon is that we should look at each person beyond their appearances and backgrounds. So what's the point of showing so much of Hayden's privileges at the end? What I love to see at the end is Gia's drawing of Hayden's eyes when he looks at her but no, all I get is his amazing mansion...
Have wanted to reread it several times as it was a favorite of mine for the well done romance, but it's since been removed from Tapas where I read it.
I'd like a physical copy, but the only ones available that I can find are in Korean, which I don't know, unfortunately. I imagine I can probably find the English version somewhere online, but I'd like to have a hard copy in case it gets removed like it did on Tapas.
So I read this a year ago and I even found a comment I left it said “HOLY SHITTTT” if that doesn’t explain enough idk what will, anyways I couldn’t stop thinking about it this week and I looked it up again even tho I’m really bad with names I remembered the name of this one because it’s one of my faves and I just had to read it again, I highly recommend this!
Plot-wise, the story is okay, not the best but cute and dreamy. Love the drawing too! It's a pity the ending is too much for me. Personally I find the chapters in Greece to be my favorite one, and the scene where they had a road trip to Sicily just because the sentiment I have with road trip teehee. Gia's char is well-developed I love her.
One of the first romance comics i have read. When i finished reading it ,it instantly became my favourite comic. To this day it still is. I really recomend this lovely romance story.

A great entry into the genre, the real magic of this comic is how the author captures each city and fellow traveler along the way. Comforting and enjoyable, I reread it every year or so.
- Interesting seeing different deconstructions of the same art style, and how the style evolved over time (given it was originally a webtoon and released in parts). One thing that jumps out to me was the insertion of famous art pieces or photos within the cartoon frame to help illustrate factual parts of the story. - Not sure on the characters, particularly MMC who seemed rude most of the time. The women side characters often felt like they were written purely on stereotypes in a not very feminist way. - Art style changes depending on what emotion or vibe the story needs to give, which I liked. - Start was tricky to understand who was who and what the plot was, but got better after 20 or so chapters
