My 9yo really liked this book and the way it gave information while also telling a story. And he wanted to warn kids before reading that the fox almost starves. Something to know for sensitive readers!

She must hunt, endure blizzards and keep warm during the brutal arctic winter before returning to her pack in the spring. The digital illustrations have a paint like quality and transition to a limited palette of whites, blues and purples as the fox travels the artic during the winter.
