T.M. (Tracey Marie) Frazier never dreamed that a single person would ever read a word she wrote when she published her first book. Now, she is a eight-time USA Today bestselling author and her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.

T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.

Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.

After reading Lawless, I was on pins and needles waiting for the conclusion to Bear and Thia’s story. When Soulless dropped on my kindle, I stopped everything and dove into this book.

From where we left off in Lawless, I was expecting a certain scene to start the book. I was ready for it. To find out what was going to go down. Surprisingly, the book didn’t start off as I expected. I don’t even want to talk about this story. You just need to read it. I will say, Frazier introduced us to a new female character named Rage that I really loved! I would love love love a book for her!

Now back to Thia and Bear- As raw and gritty as Bear and Thia’s story is, it’s still a love story. This couple loves strongly and they love fiercely. My favorite thing about this book is the backstory of Thia and Bear. How connected they’ve been from the very start.

“There has never ever been any like you. You’re it for me, Ti. Don’t ever doubt that.”

I wanted to give this one a 5, but Soulless, for a lack of a better word, was a bit too over the top for me at some points. I know all of these books have been a little over the top, but there was a scene or two that I was like WHAT? Yeah, my jaw dropped. And I’m guessing that it won’t be an issue for a lot of readers. Also, it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the story overall. It just didn’t quite give me that 5-star feel like some of the others did.

T.M. Frazier writes the best dark and gritty romances. If you’re looking for a sweet and feel-good love story, this probably isn’t the book for you. If you’re like me and love a good dark romance with lovable characters and crazy, unpredictable story lines, this is a series I highly recommend! I’m not sure what direction she’ll go now that this story is complete, but I will happily be on the ride waiting to find out!

Ms. Frazier has done it again! 'Soulless' proved to be every bit as good as earlier books in the 'King' series. I was so mad when I had to go to work because it interrupted my reading. I did not want to put this one down!

This book starts off with Bear serving jail time after confessing to the murder of Thia's parents. Of course, we all know that he didn't kill them, but he'd do anything to protect her. While he's sitting in jail, waiting for the Beach Bastards to make their move, he's got Thia holed up at her childhood home, closely guarded.

When the Beach Bastards finally make their move, Bear is in for a big surprise. He is given a brief reprieve, but knows that a war awaits him. He starts making preparations for the inevitable battle coming his way once he's back on the outside again.

While this book offered plenty of action and suspense, it was the emotional storyline that appealed to me this time around. Aside from the growing intimacy between Bear and Thia, this book dealt with a devastating loss. Every time I turned around, I was faced with some new, emotional subject.

Death, kidnapping, a gang war...There was never a dull moment. There were a couple of big reveals and surprising twists that will change everything. Just when I thought everything had settled down, Ms. Frazier provided an Epilogue that turned everything upside down! Holy hell, I didn't see that coming, but I'm so glad that it did!

We started on a broken promise, one never meant to be kept. We ended on the promise of forever.

This series has been a freaking wild roller coaster ride with surprising twists and turns. If you have read T.M. Frazier’s books, you know this story isn’t going to be pretty. It’s going to be raw, gritty, and at times very dark and painful. I knew going into this one that the road to happily ever after for Bear and Thia wasn’t going to be paved with hearts and flowers. These two will go through hell and at times, I wondered if they would make their way out of it alive and with their sanity still intact. Actually, I know Thia and Bear were definitely bat shit crazy because their relationship was far from conventional.

The one thing that remained constant in this story was the deep and passionate love they shared. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for each other. They also couldn’t seem to go without sex for more than a couple of minutes. I wondered how Bear’s penis hadn’t fallen off with the amount of times he had to have Thia. They didn’t even care where the hell they were or if they had an audience. One particular moment had me thinking they were definitely just a tab bit demented. But I can’t deny that I was fanning myself quite a bit.

There’s definitely a ton of action and several WTF moments in this one. I mean I really don’t think that you will see it coming. I sure as hell didn’t. I do have a feeling, by the way the story ends that this is not the last book in the series.

Get ready for a total mind fuck ladies!

3.5 ~ 3.75 STARS

description

I adored Lawless and in that book, the author created an unforgettable back story for the two main characters, Bear and Thia… THAT RING is so completely ingenious! I couldn’t wait to see what happens once Bear is imprisoned for the deaths of Thia’s parents and his father, the Beach Bastard President, still evilly on the warpath. This story was very entertaining and I still adored everything about Bear and Thia throughout this story, they were just as wonderful together as they were in the prior book.

”Love isn’t about wanting a hero, it’s about wanting to be one for the other person.”

description

There’s even a new character introduced to the story, Rage who is a Rambo, prom queen edition, whom I found completely intriguing. Rage is assigned to watch over Thia while Bear maneuvers his way out of his prison sentence and finds his way back to his girl. Thereafter, I’m sorry to say that this book fell into the unbelievable, unrealistic and over the top territory. The author’s attempt to connect all the dots, and wow us with her reveals, just left me baffled by her confidence in her readers to accept them all.

description

I won’t list all of the things that didn’t work for me in this book because perhaps you’ll love it and buy each and every one of them. Still, I can’t help but think that she tried to please more than tell the story in believable manner and perhaps forgot how some things play out prior?

description

This is a fast paced story that was entertaining and probably will please diehard fans. Personally, I’ve only been a huge fan of Thia and Bear. So taking from this book just the parts about them as a couple, though I wish there were a bit more of, and their perfect conclusion, then this book was in fact a success for me, by eliminating the over the top and far-fetched parts. I’m nowhere near put off enough not to read on if there are more books to come in the future. It’s up to you the reader as to what you deem believable, don't go by little old me.

Bear & Ti are back, and this time they are gunning to win. Only way to survive is by going to war, so they prepare the way they only know how, the lawless way.

Bear is a dead man walking, but this time he's got a reason to live...
The world was dark and you turned on the fucking light switch and now it's so bright.

Ti is trying her best to be patient and wait, but patience isn't her strong suit. She's a survivor through and through, and it's time for people to sit up and pay attention 'cause she's comin' for her man.
Bear was as beautiful as he was hard. He was as complex as he was simple.

Fighting for their right to live and love, for a chance to see this through, they stand to put an end to it all, knowing that it may be the end.

HO.LEE.SHIT... That ending, did I just read what I think I read, because if I did... O.M.F.G!, I am so HAPPY!

Soulless is one hell of a raging ride, that gives us more than just the present, but going back to the past. There is a reason for everything and while you may wonder why it is you went back to that time, you'll find out why in the end. Bear & Ti's story was a never ending battle, but worth fighting for, I couldn't help but cheer them on along the way. There is so much anger, so much darkness, the pieces of light reflects brightly on their tortured souls. Their story, similar to the rest of the series, it has to be lived in the moment with them, so go in with an open mind, an open heart and enjoy the brutal ride. This is not your daughters fairy tale, but it doesn't make it less of a love story; they are who they are and do what they do...it just is. Recommended to those that love a darker grittier tale and to those that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty!

A sequel worth reading.

Plot- 3.5🌟
Spice-4/5🌶️

Bear and Thia. The romance was off the charts, the angst when they were separated was just so damn perfect! Action packed plot- that's something you can always expect from T.M. Frazier.

Also, a female badass named Rage? Sign me up. I can't wait to read her book. The ending had me shook 😩

Soulless is Bear and Thia’s conclusion and let me start by saying, it was an eventful conclusion!! That will leave you guessing at every turn and dying to turn the page!

Based on the ending of Lawless I had an idea of where this story would go, but I definitely didn’t guess this one. In true Frazier fashion, the twist and turns kept coming and it was completely unpredictable.

Bear is seriously badass, something we all knew already. I love how he is completely dedicated to Thia. His devotion and protectiveness had a huge smile on my face. He was completely selfless in his love and willing to do anything to ensure she was okay. He is an awesome lover, boyfriend, whatever, but more than that he is an awesome guy. He is loyal and I loved his will to fight, it offset his sweet side perfectly.

Thia is one heroine I genuinely liked. She isn’t perfect, but all of her decisions were to help Bear. I love how in Soulless she realized her strength. She is seriously a fighter and she is a ride or die chick willing to do anything for her man.

For two characters who never had love and family, it meant so much to me to finally see that happiness and desires fulfilled in each other. This story is so suspenseful and action packed, but holy hell it’s still sexy as sin and so freaking hot. Like legit, Bear and Thia were burning up the pages!

I have loved Bear and Thia’s story so much and seeing their HEA made me so happy. I absolutely recommend this series, I have enjoyed all the books and can’t wait to see what comes next!!

He was mine."

Our story, it wasn't over yet
It was far from a romance.
But it was still a love story.
And it was ours.
We started as a broken promise, one never meant to be kept.
We ended on the promise of forever.

This has been one of my most highly anticipated books of February, I've cray cray hardcore loved this series BUT Bear GAH he's been the one I've been sitting waiting patiently for..Ok scrub that I lied I've stalked the ass off the author not waiting so patiently for this book!!

Ti may have taught me how to be a man again, but I shoved the man to the side, because right then I needed the biker, the devil, the fucking demon who would shoot without question or hesitation. Cut without feeling. Hurt without hurting. I became the soulless monster who was willing to spill rivers full of blood.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Bear's old man Chop is a piece of shit, the previous book didn't really delve into the mind of a madman or how sick this mother f*cker really is..This book goes further back into what life was like for Bear growing up in the MC with a father as a Prez..

I'm about to go to war with my old man

“The only thing my old man ever gave me was the promise of the gavel and his fucking temper”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We first met Bear in Lawless where we all fell under his spell and then that mother of a cliffy that left us all hanging over the edge, this book starts off right where that ended..Bear is in custody for taking the fall for Thia for the murder of her parents.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

PREPPY!! Squeeeee *sighs* so glad his presence is still with us
Bear. Yo bitch be feisty! Me likey.

He came alive when he was pissed, and something inside me loved that he became primal, possessive beast out to remind me who it was that I belonged to.

MY THOUGHTS Gods this has been one crazy assed mother on crack kind of ride!!
The twists, the turns, the introduction of RAGE (I love over the top Rage). Rage was employed to take care of Bear's girl whilst he's doing his stint in prison until he can find his way back to her.
I started this book today and finished this book you got it today, my house is a mess, I'm still in my pj's and I'm reeling over this book!! It's a series you just never want to end, I loved reconnecting with ALL the gang..
Gods what's not to love about this man, he's all aplha cave man male and yet we all claim him as ours, I've loved reading about his journey from MC life to life after taking his cut off to going head to head with his father..
Even though I really really enjoyed this book a few things I just didn't get, I liked the plot of the story but some just weren't resolved enough for me to understand the full concept of what the author was trying to put across, it just left me so confused at the end of it all..But I'm still a die hard fan of this authors and can't wait to see what the next book is going to entail..

It always pains me to write one of these, "it's not you, it's me" type of reviews. Unfortunately, this is exactly what I felt after reading Soulless.

There will be spoilers from the previous book in the series, so heads up.

Lawless ended with Bear being carted away to prison instead of Thia after owning up to killing Thia's parents. Which as you know isn't true, by the way. I thought Soulless was going to start with that pivotal scene but nope. Instead we're right in the middle of Bear already being in prison awaiting trial. The story then takes us through the ups and downs of Bear and Thia dealing with the aftermath of Bear's decision to take the fall for her. Add to that the club business that involved Bear's own father and Thia's own troubles, we get a very convoluted storyline that just didn't came together for me.

I liked Thia in the previous book. I could understand the decisions she made because of her age but in this book, her lack of self-preservation and common sense just grated on my nerves. I hate, HATE it when the heroines act without sense or sense of caution because it always, ALWAYS end up with unimaginable violence. And for what? Because she didn't listen to warnings. This is pretty much what happened with Thia. In the first book, I could understand it because she had no idea what she was in for but here it was almost like she had to act out so she can be put in a situation where harm would come to her and therefore, driving the "plot" forward. Unfortunately, it felt contrived and predictable to me.

Yes, there was some crazy twist to the end, which would probably make a lot of readers go ballistic because Oh my gosh, PLOT TWIST! But by the time it happened, I just felt resigned knowing that it happened and even though none of it made sense, it will blow people's mind anyway because reasons. I'm sorry but the unpredictable nature of plot twists can't replace a well thought out and solid plot, which is missing in this book.

But that is just my opinion. I did enjoy a few of the characters in this book. Rage, for example, was a hoot! And some of Ms. Frazier's fave characters did make an appearance, which is a great Easter egg for fans of hers. But I'm afraid those went over my head.

Don't let my less than stellar review deter you from reading this author's books though. I know a lot of my friends loved this one, so I'm definitely in the minority.

I like my teeth where they are…thanks.

It’s 11:00 am on a Tuesday morning and I feel like I should have a smoke and shot of whiskey. I’m feeling all kinds of tough and a little grittier than I was feeling 2 hours ago when I told my friend Lana that Soulless wasn’t as gritty as the rest of the books in the series. Yep…I’m eating those words. Luckily I have all my teeth still, not like some of those poor bikie people. I mean seriously, you go to the dentist they pull out a tooth, and I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m laid up for a day…and expect sympathy and attention for it. These toughies after getting tortured and hurt, spit out the blood then get on their bike or in their car and save the day. Absolute kudos to you, bikies and tough guys and gals. I like my teeth taken out in a sterile environment, with hubby waiting in the reception to drive me home and coddle me. I’ll leave it to the experts.

Soulless was the latest installment in the King series. I was cruising along thinking that everything was going along smoothly (too smoothly) and that we were going to actually get hearts and flowers in this one. I should have known better. I’m not naive by any means and I was bracing for the gritty to start, but it just took a bit longer to get there than I thought it would and it seriously ALL came at once. With a crash (into someone’s chest)…yank (a wee bit of torture)…pop (a blood vessel in Bear’s forehead)…scream (someone’s got to hear it)…babble (psycho chicken on the loose). In the end, it was all a little Braveheart -

”We are lawless. We are free. We are FAMILY.”

Nothing wrong with that, but I’d probably prefer the blue war paint than the blood.

I can now cross reading gritty books from my list. Soulless was an awesome conclusion to Bear and Ti’s story. I’ve been entertained by the King series and loved meeting all the different types of characters. I enjoyed the ride, peaked into their lives and can confidently say that the bikie life is not for me. This is a love story with devoted couples who would die for each other and that part of the story was everything a love story should be. Will I go back for more? Depends on… the cover…the storyline…the hype surrounding it…how much cheating/what kind of cheating/who’s doing the cheating (notice I just expect it)… and… THE AUTHOR!! T.M. Frazier may be able to convert me. I like her style.

I received a complimentary ARC of Soulless for an honest review.

Re-read note: Bear is STILL worth avoiding homework for and more. Only this time it's for iOS programming in Swift haha

First of all: WHAT THE HECK WAS UP WITH THAT VAGUE ENDING??? Does it mean what I think it means???

I enjoyed the conclusion to the Bear and Thia saga. The action does not disappoint. Thia is a fucking badass. There was some crazy stuff going down but somehow it fits right into the whirlwind that are Thear. Yes, I totally "Brangelina"ed them lol I was so enthralled by this series I may or may not have fallen behind on my UNIX homework >.< I don't want to give too much away because it's honestly an experience to read this. All I can say is that it's a total ride. What you think is conventionally acceptable is tested and the tale is simply captivating. The sex is gonna make you wanna turn down the AC and get the hose and/or both. At the same time. While standing in a freezer. Naked. Lol Do yourself a favor and pick these if you think you can handle a little stretching of your comfort zone. ;) Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing in this one. No condoms because Bear totally wants to put a baby in his woman. There is abuse. No rape this time though the MCs both have a history with it.

If you read my review for Lawless, then you know that I wasn't as in love with it as I was with King's books. I had high hopes that this one would turn everything around for me, and boy did it ever! At first I was worried, because things were looking iffy for a little while in the beginning. By the end, not only was I satisfied with the way everything wrapped up, but my mind was completely freaking blown!

In Lawless, my major source of disappointment was the lack of emotional connection between Thia and Bear. I was being told they were in love, but I certainly never felt it. Physical attraction, lust, and desperation seemed more accurate. To my delight, this time things were different. They made me believe in them. Over the course of the novel, their relationship grows and develops into something that can only be described as unconditional love. I could feel their devotion, admiration, passion, and adoration. No doubts were left in my mind about the depth of their connection.

The second issue I had with the last installment was that I didn't like Bear as much as I had previously. Thankfully, he made up for it in this one. He was selfless, protective, strong, determined, loyal, loving, and completely badass.

The other characters were amazing as always, King with his unwavering loyalty, Ray with her compassion, and Grace with her all around awesomeness. Thia continued to impress me in this book. I can't really say why without spoilers, but just know that she will make the perfect old lady for Bear! We are also introduced to a new character, Rage. She definitely intrigued me, and I can't wait to learn more about her in the future.

Before I began writing this review, I decided that I wasn't going to talk very much about the plot. Soulless is full of betrayal, twists, and turns, none of which I want to be responsible for spoiling. Primarily because they were the most enjoyable parts of the story for me. This book has the most explosive, mind f*cking twist and cliffhanger of any book in the series. I can honestly say that I never saw it coming. My jaw dropped! My heart clenched! My breath caught! My brain exploded! I couldn't form coherent thoughts! This reason alone is enough to make this one a must read.

Overall, this was a more than satisfactory conclusion to Bear and Thia's story. It has all the grit, violence, passion, and suspense readers of this series have come to expect. Couple that with the spectacular, mind-boggling, breathtaking ending, and Souless should not be missed!

“The world was dark and you turned on the fucking light switch and now it's so bright, I'm walking around blind.”

What can I say?

Of course this was the perfect conclusion for Bear and Thia’s story. Hot, a bit twisted and kind of sweet in that special way Ms. Frazier does morally ambiguous happy endings. There were ups and downs and just like with each of her former instalments in the King Series nothing is what it seems. Prepare to be amazed and if nothing else shocked out of your mind.

That ending?! I mean, is that for real? My mind is still spinning.

All in all I have to say the surrounding characters and the continuation of the background story throughout all the books is what keeps me interested and hooked. I like a good foundation for my love stories and the world Ms. Frazier has created here is just brilliant. I’m looking forward to read more about the Bloody Prom Queen and that other character I won’t mention here…*wink wink*

Nicely done.

~5 Stunning Bear and Ti Stars~
"My new happiness became the first time I saw her smile."
description

Something magical happens when I read a T.M. Frazier book. The connection with the characters is instant. The feeling of being swept away and consumed by their world shifts seamlessly after the first word is read on the first page. Words cannot express my gratitude for the love and care given while crafting this remarkable series. I am currently battling an emotional swing between feeling happy and sad now that Bear and Ti's story is complete. Bear, Ti, King, Ray, Grace, and Preppy surpass all understanding of love, friendship, loyalty, and family. Soulless is not a stand-alone and the series should be read in order from the first book in the series King.

description
"We're not given forever. We're given just a finite amount of time on this earth. It's up to us to decide how we are going to spend that time, and who we are going to spend it with."
Soulless doesn't waste anytime thrusting you back into the action. Bear has gone to jail for a crime that he did not commit. He is waging an internal battle over his feelings for Ti, the loss of his brothers from the MC, and his desire to be a better man. While locked up in the slammer, a few ghosts from his past (some friend and some foe) insert themselves back in his life.

description
"Life is way to scary to waste time being afraid of the unknown when the known is frightening enough."
Ti is spirited away to safety by King and left in the care of a deadly killer and protector named Rage. (Write that name down and store it in your wheelhouse because that's one character we all will want to know more about!) The internal turmoil Ti experiences consist of rage, fear, hurt, and love for Bear. Although she feels strong, without him she is not complete.

description

The reunion between Bear and Ti is fashioned in true "T.M. style". It is rough, raw, and utterly perfect! Although they are so different, together they are complete. Bear and Ti must fight to the death to protect their love.
"Just yes. Just Bear. Just me. Just Forever."
description

Told in dual POV, Soulless was explosive! The intimacy between Bear and Ti is intense and full of raw and rough connections. The action is well paced to keep the intensity strong throughout the read, and the characters are complex and well connected! Each piece of the puzzle fits together naturally, and the dialogue between the characters is laced with passion and wit! There were so many magical moments that will forever be etched in my heart. Ti and Bear make a full transformation together, and I enjoyed every second of their journey.

description

Overall, Soulless is a must read! If you like raw, dark, and gritty, then this is the series for you. Although I love Preppy and King, it is Bear that will always be my favorite of the series. I truly adored every second of this read and cannot wait to see what the amazing Ms. Frazier comes up with next. I will be waiting!

Let me start by simply stating that I FLOVE Bear! I adored Lawless. Bear and Thia - adore them together. She is perfect for him.

While this was a fast read and at times interesting, I would have liked more of Thia and Bear together. It didn't feel like enough. Also, some of this story line seemed to just come out of left field. I can't say more without getting into too much.

What I liked:

1. Bear

2. Thia

3. Rage - Rambo Prom Queen - I'm so intrigued by her

4. Jake - I haven't read TM's other books outside of the King series but I want to read Jake's story.

5. The cliffhanger

I had to admit that I wanted to read this book so badly even though I didn't know what to expect! It's true that T.M. Frazier surprises me each time and this is what I love about her books!

description

This book starts where the previous left us but I don't want to give anything away but for you to know that there are twists and new things will happen. Also we meet a new character that I like a lot.

Bear is amazing. I love him more and more every time I read about him! He is a hot alpha male that can also be protective. He made me swoon all the time. This is stronger than ever, I love her character. I also loved the bond that King and Bear have! These two are really best friends actually they are much more!! King and Ray play a role in this story so it's nice to see them!

“I don't think Bear is my hero. I don’t need him to be my hero. Love isn't about wanting a hero, it's about wanting to be one for the other person."

The story is super hot, fast paced and emotional. And I'm sure you'll like it!!The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars it's because I didn't love it as much as the previous!

Two words come to mind when trying to describe this book; pleasure and pain. Soulless was an electrifying page turner that will tease every single one of your senses. Do you dare?

 photo image_zpscrgg678r.jpeg

Bear committed the ultimate sacrifice in order to save Thia, the one he loves. Everything happened so fast for Thia and Bear in Lawless. One minute they are enjoying the passion of their unconventional relationship and the next, Bear is taken into custody.

Soulless picks up with Bear behind bars and Thia under the protection of Rage; a new character that looks like a prom queen but is deadlier than any contracted assassin out there on the streets. Rage's specialty is arson. She's a very skilled assassin who lacks human compassion. A total badass babe!

Bear is ready for war, he wants to fight for his freedom all while keeping Thia safe, but as long as his father is out there he will never be able to breathe easy. With the help of King, he's ready to take on the deadly mission of killing the president of the Bastards MC.

Blood will be shed and death will run its course before the conclusion of this gritty story can happen...

 photo image_zpsivflncj9.jpeg

Everything about Soulless was over the top, and I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing. Yes it was dark and gruesome, and I'll probably wear a permanent frown on my forehead from cringing so much ( I was in need of some Botox, anyway), but also the love between all these characters was something fierce. The brotherhood between King and Bear, the love Grace had for her boys, and more importantly, the intense and raw love Bear and Thia share. Everything in this book was intense, definitely not for the faint-hearted.

I loved all the excitement and the new characters, but I also enjoyed the familiar dark and gritty plot that I'm used to getting from this author. You have no idea what T.M Frazier has in store for you. Soulless is full of twists and turns, so many secrets are revealed in this second part so make sure to remember to pick up your jaw from the floor when you finish.

Seems like T.M Frazier is getting ready to elevate her stories to a whole new level of awesomeness and bring us, even more, wicked excitements in the near future, and I am definitely ready for more, are you?

A strong, “you are made for me” lovestory concludes.

Bear and Thia have suffered their separation for 6 months. Separation anxiety at its extreme levels!
Bear, in prison, is waiting to go to trial for the murder of Thia’s parents and is planning taking revenge from the only man responsible for his shitty childhood i.e. his beloved father.

In the meantime, Thia is back to her childhood home trying to survive her memories, the ghosts of all the members of her close family and the psycho girl who is assigned by King to babysit her, i.e. Rage.

Imagine six months in hell!

Everything will change when Bear appears suddenly very muscular, very shirtless, very tattooed, very large, very blue eyed and very angry (Thia’s words, not mine!).

Then like nothing has happened and no time has passed, they are back together breathing and eating each other.

Bear has to main concerns: He has to (a) go to a war with his ex club (b) breed Thia.

Deaths, violence, hurtful and heartbreaking revelations add tension to this already painful lovestory.

My main objection was Grace’s side story and revelation. I think it did not add much to the main story and it was a distraction.

The bonus scene, four years after, is the perfect epilogue. I loved it.

Soulless picks up where Bear and Thia's story left off in the previous book, and had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I was really excited to finally get everything concluded and see this couple get their HEA.

I really liked these characters, their relationship was a like a battle taking place, bloody and dark, and it doesn't end without pain. I was rooting for them from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what else TM Frazier could bring from them. Thia really showed her strength in this book, and I loved seeing that, and it really made her perfect for Bear. Apart they were two damaged people fighting their way through life, but together they were strength and courage, and now one could break them.

We were also introduced to a new character, Rage, who took some getting used to, but after I did, I started to like her. At first I was a little annoyed at her over the top character, but as the story went on, her craziness was actually kind of cool, and I really hope something will come of her character, and that this isn't the end to her.

With all of that being said, it pains me to also say that I was a little disappointed by Bear and Thia's conclusion. This book ended up being the quintessential ending to a cliffhanger, different and full of more questions. I used to avoid any book with a cliffhanger because I could never deal with getting the next part only to realize that the characters did a complete turn around in personality, and that some of the plotlines didn't follow to the next book.Sadly, that's what happened with this story, Bear seemed different, which didn't make sense to me, and the book was just a lot slower.

A part of me was super excited by the ending. Like hyperventilating kind of excited, and it brought up so many questions that I can't wait to be answered. But then once the excitement died down some I was left confused, and still am. I don't understand how it's possible? Is it even what we think it was? Just, how? These questions are still bothering me! And I don't even know if I'll be happy with any of the possible answers to them because it just really doesn't make sense to me.

Overall, I liked the story, and I was happy with Bear and Thia finally getting their well deserved HEA. There were many moments that had my heart racing as I read it, and I loved that it could affect me in that way. I had my issues with it, but the bottom line is that it's a good read that anyone who likes a darker tale should pick up.

I loved this book. Bear and Thia were a couple whom I adored! They both are so darn dysfunctional; but through their craziness they just "fit" together. Their devotion to one another is what I love in my favorite couples that I read about. Neither one of them were looking to change each other; instead they loved their partner flaws and all!! To me, that makes the best romance of all.

There are a ton of reveals, and of course betrayals. This is a roller coaster ride right to the finish. It did go a little slow at the beginning, and also there were a fair share of spelling mistakes. All in all though, I thoroughly enjoyed "Souless." T.M. Frazier is one of my top fave authors. Every book that I have read of hers I have loved and devoured it in record breaking time!! She is one of those automatic buys for me. I love that her stories push the boundaries, and yet they still work. Bear and Thia's story was not all flowers and hearts...in fact...there was none of that. But there was primal attraction, devotion, and hard core hot sex!!! Let us not forget the violence!!! There is a ton of that too; but there are some scores to settle...and believe me....the crap hits the fan more than once!!!

I highly recommend this series, especially if you enjoy a dark read. Just go into the series with an open mind and knowing that there is no way to put it down once you begin!!! Another book to go on my favorite list for sure!

Thanks to my Buddy Steph for reading this one with me!!♥♥

I went into this book with high hopes, especially since the cliffhanger we were left with from book 1 was of epic proportions. I think had this book started exactly where Lawless left off, I would have been more into it, but it went a completely different way, and unfortunately I was left feeling a little bit let down.

I stick by my opinion that this should have been one complete book, rather than split into two parts, because I think I lost my momentum.

Great characters, some huge twists (some a tad OTT and unbelievable), but a really gritty story nonetheless.

Soulless is part two of a duet, and part 4 in the overall series. Told in dual POV.

Brillant  and phenomenal read !

Soulless is book 4 in the awesomely King Series and the perfect conclusion of Bear and Thia's epic love story. I had become hopelessly addicted to Ms Frazier unique brand of feral and gritty plots. Beautifully written, her stories have the power to completely immerse me in her world, disconnect me with reality, crush me emotionally and make me feel everything.

There is nothing sugar-coated in this book. This story is raw, rough, carnal and dark yet it is trully one of the most compelling and romantic stories I have ever read. I loved every second of it.

Bear and Thia are wonderful characters and perfect together.Their story will take you on a crazy ride. Their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, heartbreak, and bloodshed that could break them.

Above all, it is a story of a love that is truly meant to be, a love that knows no boundaries. Two kindred spirits who battled against everything life had thrown at them.

I also loved revisiting old characters, King, Ray, Grace and a ghost from the past. We get some shocks and surprises with this second part and the epilogue left me speechless and totally ecstatic. A total WTF moment!

Brace yourselves folks because this book will rock your world! A must read.

Another great story

This book was the ending to Thia and Bear’s story and like the first three books in the series, it was surprising and completely unpredictable. You have to love books that have twists and turns that come out of nowhere.

“I’m not afraid of dogs,” he said, never taking his eyes of Pancakes who continued to wag his tail and run from one side of the couch to the other.
“Good, then let’s—”
“But, that’s not a dog,” Bear said.
“What are you talking about?”
“Ti, I hate to be the one to tell you this.”
“Tell me what?”
Bear pointed to Pancakes. “Your dog…is a coyote.”

In this book, Bear has to survive in prison and make it out, then the situation with Bear’s Father and his MC being out to kill both him and Thia has to get resolved before they can have any sort of life together. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. The ending on this one was just as spectacular as the last book.

"Love isn't about wanting a hero, its about wanting to be one for the other person".

I have been not so patiently waiting for this book and after the ending in "Lawless", you can understand why. I knew Bear was going to be the ruthless badass that made me fall in love with him since "King".

This story picked up right where "Lawless" left off. Bear is still in prison for the so called murders of Thia's parents and he's trying to find a way to get back on the outside world. Whatever he has to do,he's going to do it to get back his girl. Having a place in plan,he makes his move to get her and bring down his dirty good for nothing father "Chop".

Six months. That's how long Thia hasn't seen or heard from Bear. Growing extremely impatient and having doubts, she decides to attempt to put matters in her own hands and rescue him. I have to say I loved her determination and her strength throughout this story. She didn't want to just sit and wait around for something to happen. She was the very definition of a "ride or die" chick.

 photo PicsArt_02-20-10.29.06_zpsdzv0c3rd.jpg

I really wanted more action in this story and sadly it didn't happen until about 75% of the story. I wanted more Bear and Thia's love story, and more MC drama. What I got was a new character that I wasn't expecting and some pretty ott stuff. I was completely shocked at the ending and after finishing this since about 24 hours ago,I still don't know how I feel about it. A huge part of me is so freakin happy and the other part is cussing like a MOFO.

If you've been on this crazy journey since the first book, then I highly recommend you finish this out and see the conclusion of Bear and Thia's story. You will have heart problems at the end but it's worth it.

"We started as promise, one never meant to be kept. We ended on the promise of forever".

Pop Sugar Reading Challenge 2016 A book that's guaranteed to bring you joy.

"Bear was a biker who didn’t need a scared little girl, he may not have been in a club anymore but he still needed an old lady.He needed me."

description

Reí mucho con su pervertido no perro-zorro, hubiera preferido que le dejara el nombre muffin, pero bueno cada que parecía el dichoso zorro era genial.

"I need to warn you not to freak out when you go into the other room, ’cause our non-dog has blood all over his face and fur, and right now he looks a lot less like a regular dog or a coyote, and more like motherfucking Kujo.”

description

"Bear was as beautiful as he was hard. He was as complex as he was simple. He was both the storm and the calm. The fear and the solace. The rage and the peace."
description

“Don’t let the pink fool you. That tiny psycho germaphobe in there is the deadliest fucking person, well, maybe second deadliest, I’ve ever known and it’s because she doesn’t take sides. She has no conscience.”

description

Soulless was one of my most anticipated reads for this year. After the conclusion of Lawless, I need my Bear fix and to hopefully see this broken soul get his happily ever after with his Thia.

Soulless starts right out on the heals of Lawless so you must read that book first. I knew after the ending of Lawless, Bear and Ti have their work cut out for them to be together again but I had little worry that somehow, someway, they'd make it work. King wouldn't fail them. Bear's father is still a ruthless MC president and continues to lurk in the shadows throughout this book as well.

There were times before I read this book that I contemplated whether a second book was really that necessary. Some of this story seemed a tiny bit filler to me but it still really kept my interest nonetheless. If she would've jam packed the stuff in this book into one big book, it'd be so long.

I loved each and every character within these pages...Well, not EVERY character- sans Chop- there's a cold place in Hell for fathers like him...but I digress. Any more chances to get snippets of King and Ray's well-deserved happily-ever-after, I was also feverishly tuned in. I also felt we got the true feel of MC brotherhood here. So much of Lawless was filled with MC brother betrayal, I was happy to see the flip side of that coin.

Bear and Ti have a bond that has stood the test of time and this book really highlights that commitment. It's more than lust and each of them are willing to sacrifice their life to save the other person. Bear was such the Alpha male and so protective yet Ti stepped up to the plate when the going got tough as well...

I don't think Bear is my hero. I don’t need him to be my hero. Love isn't about wanting a hero, it's about wanting to be one for the other person.

Secondary characters such as Grace, King, and Ray built their familial unit that much stronger. Even snippets of Preppy in his ghost form brought a goofy smile to my face. This is a book about family...about home. And not about the DNA running through your cells. It's about everyone coming together, willing to give their lives for each other, thru good times and bad. I loved the underlying messages Frazier presents here. It's not where you lay your head at night, home is with the people you love.

 photo F3FE2AF2-336B-4D95-B569-53AD4F702C48_zpscrrhdwgn.jpg

All in all, a great conclusion to Bear and Ti's story. The epilogue took me back a bit, especially the last paragraph. I don't know what to think....shocked, yes, not entirely sold, but ecstatic nonetheless...

Looking forward to more from T.M. Frazier. We met a new character in this book that I think would be a great heroine...Rage. Hint hint. Let's see where she goes with the next installment...

3,5 STARS!!!

Then, this pink haired girl from the past came barreling into my life and it was like for the first time, I'd found a purpose.

Kissing Bear was like getting a taste of a drug I needed to survive, a drug I'd gone without for way too long. I'd grown weak without it. Desperate. With one press of his lips to mine I went from being a junkie on the street to a rock star, high on a drug I'd never planned on quitting in the first place.

"Yes", I said, because there was no other answer. There never was. Just yes. Just Bear. Just me. Just Forever.

I don't think Bear is my hero. I don't need him to be by my hero. Love isn't about wanting a hero, it's about wanting to be one for the other person.

Jake

No, but that's why he's the most fucked up person I know. You never know what side he's on. Also, it doesn't help that he looks like sunshine. Blond hair and blue eyes. The kind of looks you'd seen on one of them TV shows all the teenagers like these days. But that kid's got the devil in him.

Rage

The truth is that my name might or might not have something to do with a possible minor-to-major extreme anger management issue I may or may not have had at one point, or possibly still have now.

New pet

"But that's not a dog", Bear said.
"What are you talking about?"
"Ti, I have to be one to tell you this."
"Tell me what?"
Bear pointed to Pancakes. "Your dog...is a coyote."

Home wasn't a place. It wasn't Jessep and it wasn't Logan's Beach. Home is where you feel the most like yourself. Home is the thing that makes you happiest during this very short life. The person who makes you happiest. I'd never known what real home was and now that I'd found it, I was never letting it go. Home for me would always and forever, be Bear. We started as a broken promise, one never meant to be kept. We ended on the promise of forever.

I have to admit that I didn't really like Thia in the last book. Her character completely won me over in this one. I have nothing but love for a badass chick. She may have been young but she was hella strong and I really liked that the author didn't have her play childish games.

What I liked:
* their "dog" Pancake
* Rage. She was definitely interesting and I can't wait to learn more about her
* Grace. Even though her part was incredibly sad
* everything involving Bear obviously
* everything involving King, Ray and Preppy
* my growing respect for Thia
* the suspenseful plot
* all of the action
* all of the emotions wrung from me by the story
* the almost "cliffhanger" ending

What I didn't like:
* that the book ended

I'm excited to read Rage's book, so I'm off.
