This has been an excellent reference book as I am learning to read natal charts. I practice Western astrology, so I cannot speak for the Chinese astrology in the second half of the book, though I did find it interesting.
The way I use this book is to go to the sign of the house or planet I am reading for. For instance, the “Virgo at Home” section for a Virgo 4th House, or “Secret Gemini” for a Gemini Moon. I have found this book’s specific examples very helpful while practicing my own interpretations, and using it (and other similar books) in this way have led to more accurate readings. This book has quickly become a favorite because of its quick and effective bullet point style entries.
I love this little pocket sized astrology encyclopedia! It’s perfect to take on the go- and it covers all the sun signs as well as gives you an intro to Chinese astrology.
